This work reports a two-step synthetic strategy to obtain a series of 6-methylenesubstituted-4-trichloromethyl-2-methylsulfanylpyrimidines from the cyclization of 5-bromo-4-methoxy-1,1,1-trichloro-pent-3-en-2-ones with 2-methyl-2-pseudothiourea sulfate, followed by nucleophilic substitution of 6-bromomethyl-4-trichloromethyl-2-methylsulfanylpyrimidine with a series of nucleophiles. Alternative strategies to obtain 6-halomethyl-4-trichloro[fluoro]methyl-2-methylsulfanyl pyrimidines have been addressed. 相似文献

We develop an efficient method to synthesize novel propionyl-spaced bisheterocyclic compounds. It entails cyclocondensation of 3-(5-trifluoromethyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)propanoyl hydrazide obtained from levulinic acid, with 1,1,1-trifluoro-4-methoxy-3-alken-2-ones proceeding regiospecifically to 1-[(5-trifluoromethyl-5-hydroxy-3-substituted-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-3-(5-trifluoromethyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)propan-1-one derivatives. 相似文献

Organotrifluoroborates serve as coupling partners during transmetalation in the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction but require hydrolysis prior to the coupling reaction. Their anionic nature allows study of their hydrolysis by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) through real-time monitoring, complemented by pH analysis. The induction period varied according to the borates employed, and a dynamic series of equilibria for numerous ions was observed during hydrolysis. We found that the induction periods and reaction rates were sensitive to the R group of the borates, the shape of the reaction vessel, and stir rate. 相似文献

Previously, we found that high doses of genistein show an inhibitory effect on uterine leiomyoma (UtLM) cell proliferation. In this study, using microarray analysis and Ingenuity Pathways Analysis™, we identified genes (up- or down-regulated, ≥ 1.5 fold, P ≤ 0.001), functions and signaling pathways that were altered following treatment with an inhibitory concentration of genistein (50 µg/ml) in UtLM cells. Downregulation of TGF-β signaling pathway genes, activin A, activin B, Smad3, TGF-β2 and genes related to cell cycle regulation, with the exception of the upregulation of the CDK inhibitor P15, were identified and validated by real-time RT-PCR studies. Western blot analysis further demonstrated decreased protein expression of activin A and Smad3 in genistein-treated UtLM cells. Moreover, we found that activin A stimulated the growth of UtLM cells, and the inhibitory effect of genistein was partially abrogated in the presence of activin A. Overexpression of activin A and Smad3 were found in tissue samples of leiomyoma compared to matched myometrium, supporting the contribution of activin A and Smad3 in promoting the growth of UtLM cells. Taken together, these results suggest that down-regulation of activin A and Smad3, both members of the TGF-β pathway, may offer a mechanistic explanation for the inhibitory effect of a high-dose of genistein on UtLM cells, and might be potential therapeutic targets for treatment of clinical cases of uterine leiomyomas. 相似文献

Rotational spectra of three isotopic species of carbonyl chlorofluoride, OCCIF, have been extensively measured, and have been analyzed for rotational constants, quartic centrifugal distortion constants, and chlorine nuclear quadrupole coupling constants. Ab initio calculations of the harmonic force field have been made using several different sets of basis functions, and their relative cost efficiency has been assessed. The measured distortion constants have been combined with vibrational wavenumbers (both from the literature and from the present work) and with the ab initio force constants to refine the force field. Microemulsions were prepared at 26° from mixtures of hexanes (O), a 50: 1 (w/w) solution (W) of 0.1 M KOH-NaBH4, and a 1.23:1 (w/w) mixture (S) of hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (HTABr) and 1-butanol. A pseudoternary phase map contained a significant microemulsion (μE) region, and μE's A and B (60:35:5 and 20:10:70 S:W:O, respectively) were used for reduction of several monocarbonyl compounds [benzophenone (1a), benzaldehyde (2a), acetophenone (3a), and 1-phenyl-1-octadecanone (4a)], an α,β-unsaturated ketone [trans-4-phenyl-3-buten-2-one (6a)], and a diketone [4-(4'-benzoylphenyl)-2-butanone (7a)]at 26°. For comparison purposes, reductions were also performed in aqueous 2-propanol (2-PrOH A and 2-PrOH B) prepared by the substitution of 2-propanol for the S and O components of μE's A and B. Generally, the reductions were slightly faster in the microemulsion media than in the corresponding aqueous 2-propanol media. The significantly slower reduction of 4a relative to that of 3a in μE B indicated that the interphase is the reactive site. With enone 6a, the influence of microemulsions on the competition between 1,2- and 1,4-reduction was determined. In μE's A and B there was 8% and ll% 1,4-reduction, respectively, whereas in 2-PrOH A and B there was only a trace. With diketone 7a, the reactivity of the aromatic carbonyl group relative to that of the aliphatic carbonyl group increased on going from 2-PrOH A and B to μE's A and B, respectively. For the sodium borohydride reduction of ketones, microemulsion catalysis is more effective than phase transfer catalysis or the use of a tetraalkylammonium borohydride in a hydrocarbon solvent. 相似文献

The synthesis of 1-alkyl(aryl)-5-(3,3,3-trihalo-2-oxopropylidene)-1H-pyrrol-2(5H)-ones 5, 6a-d from 1-alkyl(aryl)-4-bromo-5-(3,3,3-trihalo-2-oxopropylidene)-1H-pyrrolidin-2-ones 3, 4a-d is reported. The 1-alkyl(aryl)-4-bromo-5-(3,3,3-trihalo-2-oxopropylidene)-1H-pyrrolidin-2-ones 3, 4a-d were obtained from regiospecific bromination of 1-alkyl(aryl)-5-(3,3,3-trihalo-2-oxopropylidene)-1H-pyrrolidin-2-ones 1, 2a-d with molecular bromine. The NMR and X-ray diffraction data showed that 1-alkyl(aryl)-5-(3,3,3-trihalo-2-oxopropylidene)-1H-pyrrolidin-2-ones were brominated at 4-position in the pyrrolidin-2-one ring. 相似文献

The utility of isotopic labeling combined with triple resonance nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) techniques for polymer structure and reactivity investigations will be demonstrated. One dimensional (1D) and two dimensional (2D) 1H/19F/13C triple resonance NMR experiments have been used to study the structure of fluoropolymers; and 1H/2H/13C triple resonance techniques have been used to study the reactivity of poly[(styrene-alt-(methyl methacrylate)] and the structure of deuterated polybutadiene. These methods provide a unique ability to selectively detect resonances of structural features that are present in minute amounts in polymers, without interference from the much larger signals of the rest of the polymer. 相似文献
