Elasticity solution is presented for finitely long, simply-supported, functionally graded shallow and non-shallow shell panel with two piezoelectric layers under pressure and electrostatic excitation. The functionally graded panel is assumed to be made of many sub panels. Each sub panel is considered as an isotropic layer. Material’s properties in each layer are constant and functionally graded properties are resulted by suitable arrangement of layers in multilayer panel. In each interface between two layers, stress and displacement continuities are satisfied. The highly coupled partial differential equations (p.d.e.) are reduced to ordinary differential equations (o.d.e.) with variable coefficients for non-shallow panel and constant coefficients for shallow shell panel by means of trigonometric function expansion in circumferential and longitudinal directions. The resulting ordinary differential equations are solved by Galerkin finite element method and Newmark method is used to march in time. Numerical examples are presented for functionally graded shell panel with a piezoelectric layer as an actuator in external surface and a piezoelectric layer as a sensor in internal surface and the results of the shallow and non-shallow panels are discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, free vibration analysis of cracked composite beam subjected to coupled bending–torsion loading is presented. The composite beam is assumed to have an open edge crack of length a. A first order shear deformation theory is applied to count for the effect of shear deformations on natural frequencies as well as the effect of coupling in torsion and bending modes of vibration. Governing equations and boundary conditions are derived using Hamilton principle. Local flexibility matrix is used to obtain the additional boundary conditions of the beam in cracked area. After obtaining the governing equations and boundary conditions, generalized differential quadrature (GDQ) method is applied to solve the obtained eigenvalue problem. Finally, some numerical results of beams with various boundary conditions and different fiber orientations are given to show the efficiency of the method. In addition, to study the effect of shear deformations, numerical results of the current model are compared with previously given results in which shear deformations were neglected.  相似文献

In this paper, three-dimensional elasticity solution is extended to investigate a FGPM finite length, simply supported shell panel under dynamic pressure excitation. The host panel is assumed to be of some functionally graded piezoelectric material (FGPM). The ordinary differential equations (o.d.e.) are derived from the highly coupled partial differential equations (p.d.e.) using series expansions of mechanical and electrical displacements. The resulting system of ordinary differential equations is solved by means of Galerkin finite element method. At last, numerical examples are presented for a FGPM shell panel. To verify the validity of code and formulation, the results of a FGM panel and a FGM plate are compared with the published results.  相似文献

The effects of cationic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), hexadecylpyridinum chloride (HDPC) and anionic sodium dodecylsulphate (SDS) surfactants on dissociation constants and transition intervals of methyl red, methyl orange and cresol red were studied spectrophotometrically. The results show that all studied indicators strongly interacted with cationic micelles (CTAB and HDPC). In the case of methyl red, relatively strong interaction with anionic surfactant (SDS) was obtained. However, no effect of SDS on dissociation constants of cresol red and methyl orange was observed. The dissociation constants of indicators were calculated with both the proposed and known chemometric (DATAN) method with a reasonable agreement on the data achieved.  相似文献
