An ultrabroadband (up to 35 nm FWHM) generation by a pulsed dye laser is reported. The principle of laser operation is based on a recently proposed cavity configuration, which we have termed spatially-dispersive resonator. By means of a prism pair this spreads the various spectral components into different spatial areas in the active medium and thus reduces the competition between them. A generation of a spectrum containing a number of equally spaced lines is also demonstrated.  相似文献

Thee + e ?K + K ? cross section has been measured from about 750 events in the energy interval \(1350 \leqq \sqrt s \leqq 2400 MeV\) with the DM2 detector at DCI. TheK ± form factor |F F ±| cannot be explained by the ρ, ω, ? and ρ′(1600). An additional resonant amplitude at 1650 MeV has to be added as suggested by a previous experiment.  相似文献

Output power dependences of composite Nd3+:YVO4 Raman laser stationary generation on the longitudinal diode pump power are measured at different transmissions of the output mirror at the Stokes radiation frequency. The deviation of the measured dependences from linear is explained by the influence of thermal effects on both the overlap of the beams and diffraction losses. A method to estimate the laser and Stokes losses in the cavity and the parameters characterizing the overlap of the laser radiation with the pump and Stokes beams is proposed. A Stokes-component of power 2.1 W is obtained and corresponds to 12% diode-to-Stokes efficiency.  相似文献

The radiative decayJ/ψ → γ π+ π? has been studied using the 8.6 millionJ/ψ produced in the DM2 experiment at the DCIe +e? storage rings at Orsay. The π+ π? mass spectrum shows a cleanf 2 (1270) signal, and the possible presence of two other states at thef 2 (1720) andf 4 (2030) masses. For thef 2 (1270), the branching ratio BR(J/ψ →γf)xBR(f→π+ π?) is measured to be (7.50±0.30±1.12)×10?4, and the spin analysis prefers theJ=2 assignment, with helicity parametersx=0.83±0.06 andy=0.01±0.06. The steady propagation of a thin smouldering front in a half-spacehas been considered. A suitable coordinate transformation hasallowed the region near the leading edge of the front to beexamined for both a maintained planar surface and with surfacecollapse due to material shrinkage. The change in the oxidizerconcentration for a small increment in the propagation speedfor large time and surface collapse has been determined. Theinfluence of two types of nonlinear diffusion on the shape ofthe smouldering front has been found; other cases can be dealtwith in a similar manner.  相似文献

The results of both experimental and theoretical studies of the mobility of O(+) in Ne are reported. Errors in the experiments have been carefully assessed, allowing the obtained data to serve as stringent tests of the ab initio potentials. These potentials were calculated using the RCCSD(T) method, employing basis sets of quintuple-zeta quality. Curves were calculated for the lowest (4)Sigma(-) state [arising from O(+)((4)S) interacting with Ne] and for the (2)Pi state [arising from O(+)((2)D) interacting with Ne]. Then, the effects of spin-orbit coupling were incorporated by using the Breit-Pauli operator. The resulting ground state (Omega=32) of NeO(+) gives mobility values in good agreement with experiment at all field strengths. Values of spectroscopic quantities for the ground electronic state of NeO(+) are also presented.  相似文献

Experimental and theoretical studies of the coupled-cavity diode-pumped Nd:YAG/Cr:YAG microchip lasers with intracavity Raman conversion of laser pulses in a Ba(NO3)2 crystal into two Stokes pulses have been made. Two lasers with a different cavity length have been investigated. The minimal pulse durations at the 2nd Stokes wavelength were ??100 ps in the short-cavity laser at pulse energy of 5???J, and the pulse repetition rate reached 20?C24?kHz. The laser and Stokes pulse dynamics, as well as the spatial intensity distribution of the laser and the 1st Stokes beams at the output mirror have been recorded. A model describing such coupled-cavity microchip Raman lasers has been developed. The numerically simulated laser and Stokes pulse dynamics, and the calculated pulse energy, duration, and repetition rate are in good agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

We report on experimental and theoretical investigations of the birefringence of free-standing nanoporous anodic alumina membranes in the optical range. The value of birefringence is analyzed for the samples with different porosities by measuring polarization dependent transmission spectra at different angles of incidence. The experimental data are compared to the results of birefringence simulations in accordance with the modified Bruggeman effective-medium approximation. It is both experimentally and theoretically shown that the birefringence value increases with porosity increases in the low porosity region. The porous alumina samples under investigation possess the greatest value of birefringence (0.062) up to the present. PACS 78.20.-e; 78.67-m; 78.20.Fm; 78.20.Ci  相似文献
