Heteronuclear cationic complexes, [LCuLn]3+ and [(LCu)2Ln]3+, were employed as nodes in designing high-nuclearity complexes and coordination polymers with a rich variety of network topologies (L is the dianion of the Schiff base resulting from the 2:1 condensation of 3-methoxysalycilaldehyde with 1,3-propanediamine). Two families of linkers have been chosen: the first consists of exo-dentate ligands bearing nitrogen-donor atoms (bipyridine (bipy), dicyanamido (dca)), whereas the second consists of exo-dentate ligands with oxygen-donor atoms (anions derived from the acetylenedicarboxylic (H2acdca), fumaric (H2fum), trimesic (H3trim), and oxalic (H2ox) acids). The ligands belonging to the first family prefer copper(II) ions, whereas the ligands from the second family interact preferentially with oxophilic rare-earth cations. The following complexes have been obtained and crystallographically characterized: [LCu(II)(OH2)Gd(III)(NO3)3] (1), [{LCu(II)Gd(III)(NO3)3}2(mu-4,4'-bipy)] (2), 1infinity[LCu(II)Gd(III)(acdca)(1.5)(H2O)2].13H2O (3), 2infinity[LCu(II)Gd(III)(fum)(1.5)(H2O)2].4H2O.C2H5OH (4), 1infinity[LCu(II)Sm(III)(H2O)(Hfum)(fum)] (5), 1infinity[LCu(II)Er(III)(H2O)2(fum)]NO3.3H2O (6), 2infinity[LCu(II)Sm(III)(fum)(1.5)(H2O)2].4H2O.C2H5OH (7), [{(LCu(II))2Sm(III)}2fum2](OH)2 (8), 1infinity[LCu(II)Gd(III)(trim)(H2O)2].H2O (9), 2infinity[{(LCu(II))2Pr(III)}(C2O4)(0.5)(dca)]dca.2H2O (10), [LCu(II)Gd(III)(ox)(H2O)3][Cr(III)(2,2'-bipy)(ox)2].9H2O (11), and [LCuGd(H2O)4{Cr(CN)6}].3H2O (12). Compound 1 is representative of the whole family of binuclear Cu(II)-Ln(III) complexes which have been used as precursors in constructing heteropolymetallic complexes. The rich variety of the resulting structures is due to several factors: 1) the nature of the donor atoms of the linkers, 2) the preference of the copper(II) ion for nitrogen atoms, 3) the oxophilicity of the lanthanides, 4) the degree of deprotonation of the polycarboxylic acids, 5) the various connectivity modes exhibited by the carboxylato groups, and 6) the stoichiometry of the final products, that is, the Cu(II)/Ln(III)/linker molar ratio. A unique cluster formed by 24 water molecules was found in crystal 11. In compounds 2, 3, 4, 9, and 11 the Cu(II)-Gd(III) exchange interaction was found to be ferromagnetic, with J values in the range of 3.53-8.96 cm(-1). Compound 12 represents a new example of a polynuclear complex containing three different paramagnetic ions. The intranode Cu(II)-Gd(III) ferromagnetic interaction is overwhelmed by the antiferromagnetic interactions occurring between the cyanobridged Gd(III) and Cr(III) ions.  相似文献

In order to observe the influence of sodium chloride on the melting temperature of collagen crystalline region in three new parchments, samples were soaked in water (blanks) and NaCl solutions of different concentrations, then removed, dried in air and measured by means of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). The melting temperature of crystalline region of collagen, T m, was determined as the minimum of the endothermal peak in the range 200–250 °C and as the inflection point of the decrease of storage modulus, respectively. There was observed a decrease in melting temperature of the salt-treated parchments compared to the samples soaked in water, sometimes significant (~20 °C) at certain concentrations of NaCl. Simultaneous TG/DTG/DSC thermal analysis (STA) was also applied for the determination of the amount of sodium chloride in salt-treated parchments, by calculating the mass loss due to the vaporization of NaCl, which occurs above 800 °C. By plotting T m determined by DSC and DMA versus the NaCl content of the samples, an apparent minimum is observed. Additional information regarding the structural features was also obtained through X-ray diffraction (XRD) and attenuated total reflection fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR). XRD data put in evidence the preservation of collagen crystalline region in all salt-treated samples, while FTIR measurements did not showed significant modification of collagen. By removing the sodium chloride from the salt-treated parchments through washing with water, there is a return of the melting temperatures to the values of blank samples, demonstrating the reversibility of this phenomenon.  相似文献

In this paper, a TG/DTG–DSC–FTIR study of type I collagen extracted from bovine Achilles tendon both in inert (nitrogen) and oxidative atmosphere (synthetic air and oxygen) from room temperature to 700 °C was performed. The thermal analysis results have shown that after initial dehydration, collagen exhibits a single decomposition step in nitrogen (due to pyrolysis), while in air and oxygen two steps are observed due to thermo-oxidative decomposition, the latter being highly exothermic. The CO2 bands dominate the FTIR spectra of evolved gases in all atmospheres (especially in air and oxygen), along with the characteristic bands of ammonia, water, HNCO, methane. In nitrogen, the bands of pyrrole, HCN, and ethane were also identified, while in oxidative atmospheres, nitrogen oxides and CO are released. A study was also performed by comparing the DTG and gas evolution curves observed for the three atmospheres.  相似文献

The thermal stability and the decomposition steps of bis(pyridine)manganese(II) chloride (Mn(py)2Cl2) were determined by thermogravimetry and derivative thermogravimetry. The initial compound and the solid compounds resulted from each step of decomposition were characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy and RX diffraction. It was pointed out that at the progressive heating of Mn(py)2Cl2, the following decomposition reactions occur: I $$ {\text{Mn}}\left( {\text{py}} \right)_{ 2} {\text{Cl}}_{ 2} \left( {\text{s}} \right) \, \to {\text{ Mn}}\left( {\text{py}} \right){\text{Cl}}_{ 2} \;\left( {\text{s}} \right) \, + {\text{ Py }}\left( {\text{g}} \right) $$ II $$ {\text{Mn}}\left( {\text{py}} \right){\text{Cl}}_{ 2} \left( {\text{s}} \right) \, \to {\text{ Mn}}\left( {\text{py}} \right)_{ 2/ 3} {\text{Cl}}_{ 2} \;\left( {\text{s}} \right) \, + { 1}/ 3 {\text{ Py }}\left( {\text{g}} \right) $$ III $$ {\text{Mn}}\left( {\text{py}} \right)_{ 2/ 3} {\text{Cl}}_{ 2} \left( {\text{s}} \right) \, \to {\text{ MnCl}}_{ 2} \left( {\text{s}} \right) \, + { 2}/ 3 {\text{ Py }}\left( {\text{g}} \right) $$ The dependence of the activation energy of these decompositions steps on the conversion degree, evaluated by isoconversional methods, shows that all decomposition reactions are complex. The mechanism and the corresponding kinetic parameters of reaction (I) were determined by multivariate non-linear regression program and checked for quasi-isothermal data. It was pointed out that the reaction (I) consists of three elementary steps, each step having a specific kinetic triplet.  相似文献

Leather products have been useful materials since the dawn of human history. Many leathers objects are valuable treasures due to the history they represent, and their preservation challenges museum custodians and private collectors alike. In this article, the applications of thermal analysis methods (Micro Hot Table (MHT), thermogravimetry/derivative thermogravimetry (TG/DTG), dynamic scanning calorimetry (DSC), differential thermal analysis (DTA), and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA)) for the characterization of the recently manufactured and old leathers are presented. These methods can be used for the assessment of deterioration degree of leathers, and, therefore, the data obtained by these techniques could be useful for achievement of the suitable preservation procedures as well as the effects of conservation treatments. In addition, it was pointed out that these methods are suitable for qualitative distinction between the recently manufactured leathers and heritage items.  相似文献

A new diazine tetratopic helicand, H4L, is obtained from 3-formylsalicylic acid and hydrazine. The reaction between H4L and cobalt(II) perchlorate, iron(III) perchlorate, and sodium carbonate leads to triple-stranded tetranuclear anionic helicates, [L3Co(II)2Fe(III)2]2-, which are connected through Na ions, resulting in chiral coordination polymers, [L3Na2Fe2Co2(H2O)4(EtOH)2].3H2O.  相似文献
