Effect of exposure dose on the replication fidelity and profile of very high aspect ratio microchannels in SU-8 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
We are interested in using SU-8 dense gratings with very high aspect ratio microchannels as the master mold for fabrication of child molds needed for replication. For such applications, the sidewall taper angle and mask replication fidelity of SU-8 are very important. Increasing the exposure time was experimentally observed to decrease the width of the microchannel and the sidewall angle of SU-8 bars. A new diffraction-refraction-reflection model was also developed. The calculated microchannel width and sidewall angle at high exposure dose agreed well with the experimentally observed values indicating that reflection at the silicon substrate was significant. The larger than calculated actual microchannel width for low exposure dose was shown to be due to leaching of unreacted SU-8 in the developer. Dense gratings of high aspect ratio SU-8 bars separated by high aspect ratio (19.1) microchannels were also demonstrated. 相似文献

Guided by classical concepts, we define the notion of ends of an iterated function system and prove that the number of ends is an upper bound for the number of nondegenerate components of its attractor. The remaining isolated points are then linked to idempotent maps. A commutative diagram illustrates the natural relationships between the infinite walks in a semigroup and components of an attractor in more detail. We show in particular that, if an iterated function system is one-ended, the associated attractor is connected, and ask whether every connected attractor (fractal) conversely admits a one-ended system. 相似文献

Temperature-dependent dc susceptibility and x-ray powder diffraction on a pure tetragonal sample of Sr(2)VO(4) show an antiferromagnetic orbital-ordering transition at T(oo) = 97 K, in which the occupied orbitals lie along the c axis. The unusual broadening of the x-ray Bragg peaks throughout the orbital-ordering transition temperature region indicates that this process occurs in stages, and the onset of short-range orbital ordering occurs at T(1) approximately 122 K. The study of the order parameter associated with this transition by analyzing the spontaneous strain results in a critical exponent beta = 0.35(2) consistent with 3D Heisenberg behavior. These results experimentally confirm the orbital-ordering state in Sr(2)VO(4) predicted by first-principles calculations using combinations of the local-density approximation and the GW method. 相似文献

We have modeled the transformation of cellulose Iβ to a high temperature (550 K) structure, which is considered to be the first step in cellulose pyrolysis. We have performed molecular dynamics simulations at constant pressure using the GROMOS 45a4 united atom forcefield. To test the forcefield, we computed the density, thermal expansion coefficient, total dipole moment, and dielectric constant of cellulose Iβ, finding broad agreement with experimental results. We computed infrared (IR) spectra of cellulose Iβ over the range 300-550 K as a probe of hydrogen bonding. Computed IR spectra were found to agree semi-quantitatively with experiment, especially in the O-H stretching region. We assigned O-H stretches using a novel synthesis of normal mode analysis and power spectrum methods. Simulated IR spectra at elevated temperatures suggest a structural transformation above 450 K, a result in agreement with experimental IR results. The low-temperature (300-400 K) structure of cellulose Iβ is dominated by intrachain hydrogen bonds, whereas in the high-temperature structure (450-550 K), many of these transform to longer, weaker interchain hydrogen bonds. A three-dimensional hydrogen bonding network emerges at high temperatures due to formation of new interchain hydrogen bonds, which may explain the stability of the cellulose structure at such high temperatures. 相似文献

Target identification remains challenging for the field of chemical biology. We describe an integrative chemical genomic and proteomic approach combining the use of differentially active analogs of small molecule probes with stable isotope labeling by amino acids in cell culture-mediated affinity enrichment, followed by subsequent testing of candidate targets using RNA interference-mediated gene silencing. We applied this approach to characterizing the natural product K252a and its ability to potentiate neuregulin-1 (Nrg1)/ErbB4 (v-erb-a erythroblastic leukemia viral oncogene homolog 4)-dependent neurotrophic factor signaling and neuritogenesis. We show that AAK1 (adaptor-associated kinase 1) is a relevant target of K252a, and that the loss of?AAK1?alters ErbB4 trafficking and expression levels,?providing evidence for a previously unrecognized role for AAK1 in Nrg1-mediated neurotrophic?factor signaling. Similar strategies should lead to the discovery of novel targets for therapeutic development. 相似文献
