The present study used differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis, and UV spectrometry to examine: i) the encapsulation of an organic UV filter 1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-3-(4- tert-butylphenyl)propane-1,3-dione (avobenzone) within modified dextrin and ii) the characteristics of these inclusion complexes (MDA). The properties of avobenzone emulsions with and without encapsulation in modified dextrin, the in vitro UV protection factor, dissolution and release, and the skin penetrability of avobenzone were also examined. The presence of inclusion complexes significantly decreased the tendency of the UV filter to penetrate the skin. In addition, such inclusion complexes should effectively prevent skin damage from radiation extending from the UVA to the UVC.  相似文献

Bismuth ferrite (BFO) thin films were fabricated by RF-magnetron sputtering deposition method on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si(1 0 0) substrate. The effect of the thickness of BFO films varying from 85 to 280 nm on electrical properties was investigated. Saturated coercive fields were found to increase with the BFO film thickness. The dielectric constant of BFO thin films measured at 1 kHz decreased with decreasing thickness from 98 to 86, while tangent losses increased from 0.013 to 0.021. The presence of bismuth oxide at the interface between BFO films and Pt bottom electrodes was responsible for the high leakage currents in thin BFO thin films as was demonstrated by X-ray diffraction, grazing-incident X-ray diffraction, and secondary ion mass spectroscopy analysis.  相似文献

Fluorescence spectroscopic properties of the complex formation between six new C-pivot16-crown-5 ethers bearing fluorescence side arms and metal ions are studied. Six new C-pivot 16-crown-5 ethers that carry fluorescence side arms were synthesized. The research also included the examination of different fluorescent behavior of the new lariat ethers in the presence of silver and sodium ions (Ag+ and Na+) in methanol. Because of the good fit of the cavity size of these 16-crown-5 ethers with the Ag+ and Na+ ions, remarkable change in fluorescent spectra were observed. The results showed that the new lariat crown ethers exhibited enhanced selectivity towards sodium ion, but silver ion show quenching abilities towards the ligands. Cooperative participations of the C-pivot side arm oxygen with the ring oxygen molecules in complexation was also confirmed by the single crystal X-ray crystallography of the complex, (C27H30O7)·NaClO4. The freezing of crown ring conformation and the diminishment of the chance of sidearm oscillation that occurred upon complexation with sodium ion are the main causes of fluorescent enhancement. The quenching caused by the addition of silver ion was found to explainable by the photo-induced electron transfer that results in the reduction of silver ions.  相似文献

Following single-photon dissociation of CH(2)I(2) at 248 nm, I(2) molecular elimination is detected by using cavity ring-down absorption spectroscopy. The technique comprises two laser beams propagating in a perpendicular configuration, in which a tunable laser beam along the axis of the ring-down cell probes the I(2) fragment in the B (3)Π(ou)(+) - X (1)Σ(g)(+) transition. The nascent vibrational populations for v = 0, 1, and 2 levels are obtained with a population ratio of 1:(0.65 ± 0.10):(0.30 ± 0.05), corresponding to a Boltzmann-like vibrational temperature of 544 ± 73 K. The quantum yield of the ground state I(2) elimination reaction is determined to be 0.0040 ± 0.0025. With the aid of ab initio potential energy calculations, the pathway of molecular elimination is proposed on the energetic ground state CH(2)I(2) via internal conversion, followed by asynchronous three-center dissociation. A positive temperature effect supports the proposed mechanism.  相似文献

A low pressure microwave assisted vapor phase dissolution procedure for silicon nitride and volatilization of in situ generated SiF4 has been developed using H2SO4, HF and HNO3 for the determination of trace impurities present in silicon nitride. Sample was taken in minimum amount (0.5 mL for 100 mg) of H2SO4 and treated with vapors generated from HF and HNO3 mixture in presence of microwaves in a closed container. An 80 psi pressure with ramp and hold times of 30 min and 60 min respectively, operated twice, resulted in 99.9% volatilization of Si. Matrix free solutions were analyzed for impurities using DRC-ICP-MS. The recoveries of Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Co, Cu, Zn, Sr, Y, Cd, Ba and Pb were between 80 and 100% after volatilization of Si. The blanks were in lower ng g−1 with method detection limits in lower ng g−1 to sub ng g−1 range. The method was applied for the analysis of two silicon nitride samples.  相似文献

The electroacoustic conversion efficiency of the ultrasonic transducer is a critical performance index for high-power applications. The material properties, volume fraction (VF) and aspect ratio (AR) are typically regarded as the design parameters of the piezocomposite transducer. We hypothesized that the spacing between piezoelectric rods was also a dominant factor. Therefore, the inter-rod coupling effects on the efficiency of 1–3 piezocomposite ultrasonic transducers were investigated in this study. The efficiencies of six flat and three curved 1.0 MHz PZT4 epoxy composite transducers with different geometric parameters were measured. Finite element transient analyses of the inter-rod electrical-mechanical coupling in the composites were carried out to explain the measured results. The experimental results showed that for 0.47 AR, the 79% VF transducers had lower efficiency than the 64% VF and 53% VF transducers. For 0.19 AR, the efficiency of the 59% VF transducer was not greater than the efficiency of the 39% VF transducer. Numerical analyses demonstrated that the positive peak voltage induced by the coupling of the side rods was more than twice the level induced by the coupling of the diagonal rods for any spacing. The diagonal coupling voltage peak did not change for spacings larger than 0.2 mm. Moreover, for spacings of 0.05 and 0.1 mm, the inter-rod coupling caused 24% and 20% waveform shifts of the driving voltage, respectively, while the 0.2 mm spacing coupling caused a 14% reduction in the amplitude of the driving voltage. As a result, the asymmetry of the driving voltage degraded the efficiency of the composite transducers and became more severe when the spacing was decreased. We concluded that the efficiency loss induced by inter-rod coupling as a function of spacing should be considered when designing piezocomposite transducers.  相似文献

One new phenylpropanoid, turformosin A (1), and one new triterpene, turformosinic acid (2), together with 16 known compounds, were isolated from the stems of Turpinia formosana Nakai. All structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis, including 1D- and 2D-NMR techniques and MS analysis. Selected isolated compounds were evaluated for in vitro cytotoxicity against four human cancer cell lines and antioxidant scavenging effects on DPPH. (-)-(7'S,8'S)-threo-carolignan X (3) exhibited cytotoxicity against Hep2, WiDr, Daoy, and MCF-7 cell lines with ED(50) values of 3.60, 4.45, 6.07, and 13.7 μg/mL, respectively. Turformosin A (1), (-)-(7'S,8'S)- threo-carolignan X (3), methoxyhydroquinone-4-β-D-glucopyranoside (5), and methoxy-hydroquinone-1-β-D-glucopyranoside (6), exhibited similar anti-oxidative activity. Hep2 cells treated with 10 μg/mL of 3 showed elevation of sub-G1 population (from 20% at 8 h to 60% at 48 h), and activation of caspase-9/caspase-3/PARP cascade. Compound 3 induced intrinsic apoptotic pathway in Hep2 cells with dose and time dependence (10 μg/mL for 8 h).  相似文献

The sesquiterpene aureol (1) was isolated by chromatographic fractionation of a non-polar extract from Smenospongia sp. Methylation of aureol yielded 5'-O-methyl-aureol (2) while the prepared acylation products of aureol were 5'-O-acetyl-aureol (3), 5'-O-benzoyl-aureol (4), 5'-O-(4-fluoro-benzoyl)-aureol (5), 5'-O-(4-chlorobenzoyl)-aureol (6), 5'-O-(4-methylbenzoyl)-aureol (7), 5'-O-nicotinoyl-aureol (8), aureol-N,N-dimethylthiocarbamate (9), 5'-O-(2-furoylcarbonyl)-aureol (10), 5'-O-(2-thienoylcarbonyl-aureol (11). The structures of aureol as well as its ten derivatives were established through spectral analysis. The in vitro cytotoxic activities of the eleven compounds were evaluated against Hepa59T/VGH, KB and Hela tumor cell lines.  相似文献

A new diterpene, 16-hydroxy communic acid (1), along with thirty one known compounds including five norditerpenes (2-6), twenty two flavonoids containing four biflavonoids (7-10), nine monoflavonoids (11-19) and nine flavanoid glycosides (20-28), as well as four phenolic constituents (29-32) were isolated from the 95% ethanolic extract of Podocarpus fasciculus. The structure of 1 was elucidated using spectral methods. Of these isolates, nagilactone C (2) showed the most significant inhibitory effects against DLD cells (human colon carcinoma) (ED(50)=2.57 microg/ml) and compounds 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12 had moderate cytotoxic activity against human KB (human oral epithelium carcinoma), Hela (human cervical carcinoma), Hepa (human hepatoma), DLD (colon carcinoma), and A-549 (human lung carcinoma) tumor cell lines. Preliminary structure-activity relationship studies of the isolated diterpenoids and biflavonoids are discussed.  相似文献
