Fluorine-substituted ethyl groups on Cu(111) were generated by thermal scission of the C-I bond in the adsorbed C2F5I. Temperature-programmed reaction spectrometry observed a novel pathway resulting in the evolution of C4F6 above 400 K. Among the various isomers, this product was identified as hexafluro-2-butyne. Although abstraction of two fluorine atoms from the starting Cu-CF2CF3 was required, Cu-CCF3 (trifluoroethylidyne) was favored over Cu-CF=CF2 (trifluorovinyl) as the intermediate because this ethyl-ethylidyne-butyne pathway was suppressed on a Cu(100) surface devoid of the key threefold hollow binding sites for ethylidyne. Once formed, perfluoroethylidyne readily coupled to afford a tightly surface-bound hexafluoro-2-butyne up to 400 K. Therefore, the C-F bonds adjacent to the metal were found to be more susceptible to the bond activation, leading the chemisorbed perfluoroethyl to eliminate two F atoms successively from the alpha-carbon. This preference for alpha-elimination rather than beta-elimination (the most favorable route in hydrocarbons) may be quite general for metal surface-mediated reactions involving fluorinated alkyl groups.  相似文献

This study presents a new process using inductively a coupled plasma dry etching method to manufacture a long-period fiber grating filter with exact period, vertical sidewalls, and smooth etched surfaces, and the filter is thus named a perfectly notched long-period fiber grating (NLPFG). This process can dramatically reduce production time, and thereby provide higher volume production. The fabricated NLPFG has periods of 640 μm, resonant-attenuation wavelengths of 1518 nm, and maximum resonance-attenuation of 21.79 dB. A force induced loss-tunable calibration of the NLPFG filter was implemented, and a monotonically increasing quadratic fitting was observed. The results demonstrated that the proposed NLPFG has a much better period precision compared to corrugated LPFG, and it has great potential for a loss-tunable filter and force transducer applications.  相似文献

In this paper, a LCD positioning system based on an image processing method is described. This method is effective in finding the angle of the geometric features in the cross registration mask. However, when two marks appear in the same frame, the problem of situation verification becomes more complex. We use an algorithm that assists with calculating the location and rotation angle for two marks precisely and quickly using the Fast Hough Transform (FHT). This method determines the locations of two masks and calculates the rotation angle from a blurred edge to adjust the LCD position and orientation.  相似文献

Electrochemical copolymerization of 3-trimethoxysilanyl-propyl-N-aniline (TMSPA) with 2,5-dimethoxyaniline (DMA) was performed in 1 M HCl aqueous solution for different feed ratios of TMSPA using cyclic voltammetry. The deposition rate of TMSPA–DMA copolymer is higher than that of PTMSPA but lower than that of PDMA. (TMSPA-co-DMA) film was deposited using electrochemical polymerization as conducting film on indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode and used as an electrode in an electrochromic device. Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(4-styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) was spin-coated on ITO as the other electrode. Carboxyl-terminated- butadiene-acrylonitrile (CTBN) blended with LiClO4 was used as solid polymer electrolyte. A total solid electrochromic device was assembled as follows: ITO|P(TMSPA-co-DMA)LiClO4-CTBNPEDOT:PSS|ITO. The columbic efficiency of the devices reached to 104% for P(TMSPA-co-DMA) film with TMSPA feed ratio of 0.25. The optical contrast (ΔT, %) of the single electrode and the device were determined by UV–vis spectroelectrochemical studies. The stability of ΔT was improved during color switching from +1.5 to −1.5 V (vs. PEDOT) for this device. The device was pale yellow at −1.5 V and blue at +1.5 V.  相似文献

An eye mouse interface that can be used to operate a computer using the movement of the eyes is described. We developed this eye-tracking system for eye motion disability rehabilitation. When the user watches the screen of a computer, a charge-coupled device will catch images of the user's eye and transmit it to the computer. A program, based on a new cross-line tracking and stabilizing algorithm, will locate the center point of the pupil in the images. The calibration factors and energy factors are designed for coordinate mapping and blink functions. After the system transfers the coordinates of pupil center in the images to the display coordinate, it will determine the point at which the user gazed on the display, then transfer that location to the game subroutine program. We used this eye-tracking system as a joystick to play a game with an application program in a multimedia environment. The experimental results verify the feasibility and validity of this eye-game system and the rehabilitation effects for the user's visual movement.  相似文献

We report the development of a ring tunable fiber laser based on tunable fiber Bragg gratings (TFBG) integrated with an optical circulator. The TFBG is embedded inside a 3-piont bending device for wavelength tuning. The tunable laser operating in the C-band has power variation, tuning resolution, tuning range and laser line width of ±0.5 dB, 0.5 nm, 25.0 nm and less than 0.05 nm, respectively. As 40 mW of pump power is used, the ring tunable laser has a side mode suppression ratio of 60 dB and a power conversion efficiency of 25%. These specifications ensure the high-quality operation of a tunable laser.  相似文献

The performance of long period fiber grating (LPFG) sensors written in single cladding and double cladding fibers have been compared by using a fast responding interrogation system based on intensity modulation. Temperature and dynamic strain monitoring using this system have been demonstrated. This system is capable of resolving strain to 0.2 and 0.4 με at a loading frequency of 20 Hz, and temperature resolution to 0.02 and 0.19 °C by using LPFG in the single cladding (SC-LPFG) and double cladding (DC-LPFG), respectively.  相似文献

A radio-on-multimode fiber (MMF) system based on vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs) injection-locked and optoelectronic feedback techniques is proposed and demonstrated. Injection locking and optoelectronic feedback achieves large frequency response of the VCSEL, resulting in good performances of intermodulation distortion to carrier ratio (IMD/C), error vector magnitude (EVM), and bit error rate (BER). Using VCSELs as optical sources in radio-on-MMF systems are very attractive, as they are relatively simple to fabricate and potentially low-cost. Such a proposed radio-on-MMF system is suitable for the short-haul microwave optical links.  相似文献
