A simple and rapid voltammetric method based on a disposable electrochemically pretreated screen‐printed carbon electrode is proposed for the determination of L ‐dopa. Under optimum differential pulse voltammetry conditions a limit of detection of 3.6×10?7 M for L ‐dopa was obtained. The method was successfully applied to the determination of L ‐dopa in a commercial pharmaceutical formulation.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper was to characterize and investigate the antimicrobial potential of Amorpha fruticosa fruits essential oil (EO). The EO was extracted by hydrodistillation, analyzed by GC-MS, and then evaluated for its interaction with microbial and mammalian cells. The antimicrobial activity was assessed against bacterial and fungal strains, in a planktonic and adherent growth state, using qualitative and quantitative assays. The main components identified in A. fruticosa fruits EO were δ-cadinene, γ-muurolene, and α-muurolene. The Gram-positive strains proved to be more susceptible than Gram-negative bacteria and fungal strains. The EO exhibited good antibiofilm activity, inhibiting the microbial adherence to the inert (96-well plates and Foley catheter section) and cellular substrata. The flow cytometry analysis revealed as one of the possible mechanisms of antimicrobial action the alteration of cell membrane hydrophobicity. The cytotoxicity on the L929 cell line occurred at concentrations higher than 0.3 mg/mL. Taken together, our results demonstrate that A. fruticosa fruits EO contains active compounds with selective inhibitory effect on different microbial strains in planktonic and biofilm growth state, explained at least partially by the interference with microbial membranes due to their hydrophobic character.  相似文献

Due to the importance of B1 and B6 vitamins for human health it is useful to develop new cheap and rapid methods for their determination. Voltammetric behavior of these vitamins on a pencil graphite electrode was investigated using cyclic voltammetry in different media. Direct quantitative determination of the two vitamins, one in the presence of the other, was done by differential pulse voltammetry. Vitamin B1 was electroactive only in a NaOH solution generating two irreversible oxidation peaks; the first peak obtained at 250 mV is well-defined and was used in quantitative determinations. In case of vitamin B6, a well-defined oxidation peak was observed in all investigated supporting electrolytes except for HCl. The linear concentration ranges were 10?5–10?3 M for vitamin B1 in a NaOH solution and 5 × 10?6–10?3 M for vitamin B6 in an acetate buffer solution. The obtained detection limits were 5.34 × 10?6 M and 2.81 × 10?6 M for vitamin B1 and vitamin B6, respectively. The developed method is simple and rapid and it was successfully applied in the determination of the two vitamins in pharmaceuticals.  相似文献
