In this work, the structural and transport properties of Mg-doped Sn-based alloys have been investigated. The temperature-dependent transport and structural properties of Sn–Mg alloys were investigated for five different samples (Pure Sn, Sn-1.0 wt% Mg, Sn-2.0 wt% Mg, Sn-6.0 wt% Mg and Pure Mg). Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction and energy dispersive X-ray analysis measurements were carried out in order to clarify the structural properties of the samples. It was found that the samples had tetragonal crystal symmetry, except for pure Mg which had hexagonal crystal symmetry. We also found that the cell parameters changed slightly with the addition of Mg element. The SEM micrographs of the samples showed that they had smooth surfaces with a clear grain boundary. The electrical and thermal conductivity of the samples were measured by four-point probe and the radial heat flow method, respectively. The electrical resistivity of the samples increased almost linearly with the increasing temperature. The thermal conductivity values ranged between 0.60 and 1.00 W/Km, while they decreased slightly with temperature and increased with Mg composition. The thermal conductivity values of the alloys were in between the values of pure Sn and Mg. The thermal conductivity results of the alloys were compared with other available results, and a good agreement was seen between the results. In addition, the temperature coefficients of electrical resistivity and thermal conductivity were determined; these were independent of the composition of the alloying elements.  相似文献

A rapid and selective method for the simultaneous determination of triazine herbicides (atrazine, its degradation product desethylatrazine, simazine, prometryn, terbutryn) and N-methylcarbamate insecticides (propoxur, carbaryl and methiocarb) in surface water has been developed. A 0.5 L of the water sample was preconcentrated by passage through a 1 g C18 solid-phase extraction cartridge. The retained compounds were eluted with 5 mL of methanol from the cartridge. The pesticides were separated and quantified by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with UV diode-array detection. Analytical separation was performed using a concave gradient elution with acetonitrile and water on a C18 column. Prometryn and terbutryn were determined at 240 nm; propoxur, methiocarb at 204 nm and the others at 220 nm. Recoveries varied from 85 to 102% over concentrations at 0.025 and 0.2 µg L?1. The limits of detection for the compounds investigated are in the range of 0.005-0.012 µg L?1.  相似文献

In this study, for the first time a model electrochemical kit was constructed for the detection of a functional polymorphism in catechol‐O‐methyl transferase (COMT) gene which is important for diagnosis of neuropsychiatric disorders as Alzheimer disease. The disposable pencil graphite electrode (PGE) is designed as a “kit” and the probe DNA covered PGE can detect single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) from real samples based on the guanine oxidation signal even after 5 months of kit preparation (150 days durability).The detection limit (S/N=3) of the biosensor was calculated as 1.18 pmol of synthetic target sequence and 6.09×105 molecules of real samples in 30 min detection time.  相似文献

A modified electrode was fabricated by electrochemically deposition of Pt nanoparticles on the multiwall carbon nanotube covered glassy carbon electrode (Pt nanoparticles decorated MWCNT/GCE). A higher catalytic activity was obtained to electrocatalytic oxidation of ascorbic acid, dopamine, and uric acid due to the enhanced peak current and well‐defined peak separations compared with both, bare and MWCNT/GCE. The electrode surfaces were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Individual and simultaneous determination of AA, DA, and UA were studied by differential pulse voltammetry. The detection limits were individually calculated for ascorbic acid, dopamine, and uric acid as being 1.9×10?5 M, 2.78×10?8 M, and 3.2×10?8 M, respectively. In simultaneous determination, LODs were calculated for AA, DA, and UA, as of 2×10?5 M, 4.83×10?8 M, and 3.5×10?7 M, respectively.  相似文献

We consider the spectral properties of matrix polynomials over the max algebra. In particular, we show how the Perron-Frobenius theorem for the max algebra extends to such polynomials and illustrate the relevance of this for multistep difference equations in the max algebra. An efficient and low noise short wavelength band erbium-doped fibre amplifier (S-band EDFA) is proposed and demonstrated using double-pass configuration. This amplifier provides a gain of 1500 nm signal as high as 26.9 dB, which is 9.6 dB higher than the two-stage single-pass amplifier. The corresponding noise figure obtained is 7.5 dB, which is of the same level as in the single-pass amplifier and more than 2 dB lower than the previously reported double-pass amplifier [IEIOE Electron. Express 2 (2005) 182]. The gain enhancement is due to the double pass-propagation of the test signal in the second stage, which increases the effective erbium-doped fibre (EDF) length. The low noise is attributed to the optical circulator between EDFs, which prevents the backward amplified spontaneous emission from propagating into the input part of the amplifier. The proposed amplifier is expected to play an important role in the development of a practical S-band EDFA.  相似文献

Experimental studies of aerosol combustion under quiescent and turbulence conditions have been conducted to quantify the differences in the flame structure and burning rates between aerosol and gaseous mixtures. Turbulence was generated by variable speed fans to yield rms turbulence velocities between 0.5 and 4.0 m/s and this was uniform and isotropic. Homogeneously distributed and near monodispersed iso-octane-air aerosol clouds were generated using a thermodynamic condensation method. Spherically expanding flames, following central ignition, at near atmospheric pressures were employed to quantify the flame structure and propagation rate. The effects of the diameter of fine fuel droplets on flame propagation were investigated. It is suggested that the inertia of fuel droplets is an important cause of flame enhancement during early flame development. During later stages, cellular flame instability and the effective, gaseous phase, equivalence ratio becomes important. The latter effect leads has increases the flame speed of rich mixtures, but decreases that of lean ones. Droplet enhancement of burning velocity can be significant at low turbulence but is negligible at high turbulence.  相似文献
