The low-coordinate phosphorus compounds (Me(3)Si)(2)N-P=NSiMe(3), (Me(3)Si)(2)N-P(=S)=N(t)Bu and (Me(3)Si)(2)N-P(=NSiMe(3))(2) react with ((i)PrO)(3)M≡M(O(i)Pr)(3) (M = Mo, W) to form four- and five-membered metallacycles with intact endocyclic or exocyclic M≡M triple bonds. The first four-membered planar metallacycles, containing an M≡M triple bond were obtained in reaction with (Me(3)Si)(2)N-P=NSiMe(3).  相似文献

Abstract— The Fourier-transform infrared spectra of chloroform-d solutions of conjugated imines CH3CH=CHCH=NCH(CH3)2 and CH3CH2CH=CHCH=CHCH=NCH(CH3)2 and the related protonated species with HCl, HBr, HI, trichloro, dichloro, monobromo and monochloroacetic acids or propionic acid are presented. The effects of conjugation and protonation are examined. The results show that conjugation slightly increases the basicity of the Schiff bases. HCl, HBr and HI protonate the Schiff bases completely. The carboxylic acids protonate partially depending on their p K a, values. When the Schiff base contains two (or more) C=C bonds conjugated with C=N, the main C=C stretching band undergoes a strong intensification showing that sizeable dipole moment variations occur along the conjugated chain.  相似文献

A new range of selenium‐based reversible addition‐fragmentation chain‐transfer (RAFT) agents is described and tested in the polymerization of styrene, acrylates, vinyl esters, and N‐vinylcaprolactam. The synthesized N,N‐dimethyldiselenocarbamates were poor control agents for styrene polymerization, whereas polyacrylates of controlled molar masses and bearing a diselenocarbamate terminal group could be synthesized. The polymerization of vinyl acetate and vinyl pivalate proceeded in a controlled manner as confirmed by size‐exclusion chromatography, matrix‐assisted laser desorption ionization‐time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry, and 77Se NMR analyses. The capability of these RAFT agents to control the polymerization of both more‐activated monomers and less‐activated monomers was exemplified through the synthesis of a poly(t‐butyl acrylate)‐b‐poly(vinyl acetate) diblock copolymer. Considering the very broad range of carbamate groups which can be envisioned, this finding opens numerous perspectives for diselenocarbamate‐mediated RAFT polymerization with its specificities yet to be explored. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
