Wild jujube “Ziziphus lotus (L.) Desf.” belongs to the Rhamnaceae family and is a traditionally herbaceous medicinal plant. It is very common in arid and semi-arid regions and is currently used for its antidiabetic, sedative, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and hypoglycemic activities. The aim of the present work was to characterize the physico-chemical properties and the phytochemical profile of wild jujube sample collected from the Guercif region, in order to determine the polyphenolic compounds and the antioxidant ability Analyses were carried out directly after the harvest for the determination of pH, refractive index, total soluble solid (°Brix), dry matter, sugar/acidity, total sugars, reducing sugars, as well as lipid and protein content. Results showed that the investigated fruit is acidic (pH 4.9 ± 0.23) and rich in sugars (80.2 g/100 g ± 3.81). The GC-MS analysis of the fruit revealed a number of volatile compounds, as many as 97, belonging to different chemical classes. The HPLC-DAD-ESI/MS analysis showed the presence of a total of 20 polyphenolic compounds in both EtOAc and MeOH-water extracts. Among them, p-Hydroxybenzoic acid was the most abundant in the EtOAc extract (185.68 µg/100 mg ± 0.5) whereas Quercetin 3-O-rhamnoside-7-O-glucoside was found in higher amounts in the MeOH-water extract (25.40 µg/100 mg ± 0.5). These components have medical interest, notably for human nutrition, as well as health benefits and therapeutic effects. Therefore, Moroccan jujube “Zizyphus lotus (L.)” fruit may have potential industrial applications for food formulations.  相似文献

We have investigated the optical properties of sol-gel thin films of tin dioxide (SnO2) codoped with Er3+-Yb3+ as a function of Yb3+ concentration. The Judd-Ofelt model has been applied to absorption intensities of Er3+ (4f11) transitions to establish the so-called Judd-Ofelt intensity parameters: Ω2, Ω4, Ω6. Various spectroscopic parameters were obtained to evaluate their dependence and the potential of the samples as a laser material in the eye-safe laser wavelength (1.53 μm) as a function of Yb3+ concentration. An amelioration of the quality factor Ω4/Ω6 was found with Yb content. Both the IR photoluminescence (PL) intensity and the up-conversion emission, from Er3+ ion in SnO2, were found to increase with Yb concentration. We show that the Yb3+ ion acts as sensitizer for Er3+ ion and contributes largely to the improvement of the spectroscopic properties of SnO2:Er. The mechanism of up-conversion emission is discussed and a model is proposed. The results showed that sol-gel SnO2 is promising gain media for developing the solid-state 1.5 μm optical amplifiers and tunable up-conversion lasers.  相似文献

Four types of undisturbed soils around the Es-Salam reactor (Algeria) were used to evaluate the sorption behavior of strontium. The batch study was carried out under different experimental conditions. The kinetics were well fited by pseudosecond order model. Soils’s activation energies were 12.37, 14.76, 15.5 and 16.17 kJ mol−1, corresponding to ion-exchange-type sorption. Sorption was exothermic (ΔH° < 0), spontaneous (ΔG° < 0) and favorable at low temperature. Competing cations, particularly Ca2+ reduce the Sr adsorption. Desorption reaction showed a higher value of Sr in the easily extractible phase indicating a relative availability of the element.

We study the influence of the laser polarization on the electron impact excitation of atomic hydrogen. Our method takes into account the “dressing” of the target states by including the laser-atom interaction to first order time-dependent perturbation theory, while the interaction of the laser field with the incident electron is treated to all orders by using the non relativist Volkov function. The interaction of the fast projectile with the target atom is treated in the first Born approximation. The calculations are performed via two distinct computations. The first one is based on a direct calculation, the second based on a Sturmian approach. Important differences appear between the angular distributions depending on the polarization chosen. C60 films have been grown in ultra high vacuum on various crystalline substrates and the structure of the films has been investigated by low energy electron diffraction (LEED) and high resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (HREELS). The C60 films form randomly oriented nanocrystals on Si(100), mesoscopic polycrystals on GaSe(0001) and microscopic single crystals on GeS(001). The vibrational structure of the C60/substrate interfaces is analyzed in detail by HREELS carried out in the dipole and impact scattering regimes. It is shown that the epitaxy of C60 on GeS(001) is induced by the weak van der Waals bonding and the peculiar corrugation of the substrate surface.  相似文献

Vanadium oxide thin films were prepared by spray pyrolysis using solutions of vanadium chloride (VCl3) with different concentrations on glass substrates heated at 200 and 250 °C. The influence of substrate temperature (Ts) and solution concentration (molarity) on structural and vibrational properties is discussed by using X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy. The results revealed that at 0.05 M and Ts = 200 °C, V4O9 thin films are obtained. At 250 °C, V2O5 phases with preferential orientation are observed and the films become polycrystalline when the molarity increases.  相似文献

The strong photoluminescence (PL) of porous anodic alumina (PAA) with terbium deposition is reported. PAA, which has a regular pore morphology, is considered an effective template for fabricating luminescent composites. Tb was deposited onto PAA films by immersion in alcoholic solution with terbium chloride followed by heat treatment. The PL spectra demonstrate typical bands of Tb3+ corresponding to 5D4 → 7Fj (j = 3, 4, 5, 6,) electron transition, with the maximum at 18,360 cm−1 (5D4 → 7F5). The PL mechanism of Tb3+ was systematically studied with annealing temperature. The non-radiative relaxation channel is provided by OH hydroxyls at the surface of porous anodic alumina and, after annealing at 900 °C, the PL yield is highly improved. The PL intensity of Tb3+ increases with laser power and a saturation phenomenon, associated with the ratio of Tb3+ to Tb4+ ions, is observed at approximately 90 W/cm2. Based on a theoretical model, the optical cross-section σ of terbium in PAA is estimated, with a value close to that of other porous materials doped with the rare-earth elements.  相似文献
