The purpose of this work was to investigate the effect of several factors (anion type in the copper salt, pH and concentration of the salt solution) on the structure and thermo-oxidative degradation of the polyacrylamidoxime-copper chelates, by using elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and dynamic thermogravimetry. The chelates containing copper ions as sulphate exhibit a better initial thermal stability than the polyacrylamidoxime fibre presumably due to the crosslinking generated by the intermolecular complexation of the ions; the removal of the sulphate anions takes place concomitantly with the second step of polymeric chain decomposition. The initial thermal decomposition of the chelates formed by copper ions as nitrate begins at lower temperatures as compared to the polyacrylamidoxime fibre, probably by the nitrate anion release, which partly overlaps the initial decomposition of the copper ion-crosslinked polymeric chains. Copper ions as either sulphate or nitrate catalyse the reactions involved in the main step of polyacrylamidoxime fibre decomposition; the higher the copper amount, the stronger the catalytic effect.  相似文献

Summary The sorption of 60Co2+, 115mCd2+ and 203Hg2+ from diluted solutions (as analogues for radioactive waste waters) on ETS-4 microporous titanosilicate was studied at 277, 293, 313 and 333 K by measuring the sorption kinetics using a batch-method. The sorption of these radiocations was compared by means of the distribution coefficient and of the sorption capacity. The maximum sorption capacities follow the order: 203Hg2+>115mCd2+360Co2+. The thermodynamic functions of the sorption processes have been estimated. The increase of the absolute value of DG° with increasing temperatures shows that higher temperatures favor ionic exchange.  相似文献

The microporous titanosilicate ETS-10 synthesized from gel with following molar composition: 1.0 Na2O: 1.49 SiO2 : 0.2 TiO2 : 0.6 KF : 1.28 HCl : 39.5 H2O was subjected to sorption of radioactive cations 115Cd2+, 204Hg2+, 60Co2+ and 137Cs+ (M) from aqueous solution, in the absence of ionic competition. The uptake of these cations on the ETS-10 was compared by means of the distribution coefficient (Kd) versus contact time and sorption capacity (R) at equilibrium. The FT-IR spectra of M-ETS-10 sorption products exhibit a modification of the absorption band, principally at 381 cm-1.  相似文献

Poly(trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate) microspheres with a narrow size distribution were obtained by precipitation polymerization. They were subsequently modified by surface grafting with acrylic acid in a polar ethanol–water reaction medium, without stabilizer, yielding core‐shell particles with diameters in the micrometer range. The resulting polymeric material was characterized by SEM and potentiometric titration, FTIR spectroscopy, and thermal analysis. It was shown that the particle characteristics (size, size distribution, and functionality) obtained by this straightforward procedure can be controlled by modifying the synthesis parameters (monomer concentration, agitation rate, and temperature). The high functionality, the chemical and physico‐mechanical stability, as well as the possibility to control the performances of the resulting polymeric materials by synthesis allow its applications in various areas. Envisaging separation and catalysis domains, Cu(II), Cd(II), and Cr(III) uptake capacity from aqueous solutions was investigated under noncompetitive conditions as a function of synthesized particle functionality, time, and pH range. It was also found that the addition of the carboxylated microparticles to polyethylene stabilized with α‐tocopherol improved the thermo‐oxidative behaviour of the polymeric material. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper reports a study of the decomposition of water by gamma radiolysis in the presence of zeolites ZSM-5, SAPO-5, and MOR. The irradiation is performed using 60Co as a source with 1.12×1015 Bq activity at a 8.3 kGy/h dose rate. The stable products of radiolysis as well as the other chemical species are measured by mass spectrometry. The calculated radiation yield (GH 2) generally decreases in the order: H-ZSM-5>Na-ZSM-5>H-SAPO-5>MOR under the given experimental conditions; the yield is higher in the presence of these catalysts than in their absence.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to define the characteristics of crystalline phase ETS-10 obtained from gel with dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide, as an organic template. ETS-10 zeolites has been synthesised under hydrothermal conditions from gels of composition 5Na2O–3KF–TiO2–6.4HCl– xC12TMAB –7.45SiO2–197.5H2O (where x=0.0, 0.25, 0.55, 1.0 and 1.5) with dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide. The crystalline phases synthesised with organic salt have an exothermal peak at ca. 360°C, due to the degradation of organic entrapped in the porous structure. Physical-chemical properties of C12TMAB -ETS-10 are studied by XRD, SEM and thermal analyses.  相似文献

The adsorption of organic ionic dyes on different pore size engineered silica materials with potential application for industrial wastewater treatment has been investigated using Fourier transform laser microprobe mass spectrometry (FT-LMMS) and time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF-S-SIMS). The complementary use of the two methods with different information depth allowed data on the subsurface distribution and pore penetration of the adsorbed organic compounds. Macroscopic methods were employed to determine the amount adsorbed on the particles and the specific external surface area. Local MS analysis allows identification of the organic dyes exclusively at the outer particle surface when the pore size is inferior to the size of the adsorbing molecule, or at the surface of the channels inside the material. Specifically, the monolayer information depth of TOF-S-SIMS causes a signal to refer essentially to the adsorbate at the outer particle surface, which is only a fraction of the total adsorption in mesoporous materials, while FT-LMMS allowed detection of the presence of adsorbates at the outer surface as well as inside the subsurface of 10 to 50 nm depending on the material under study. The observed data open perspectives for the molecular monitoring of the adsorption behaviour of different materials at the (sub) microm scale.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to evaluate the ability of the mesoporous silica SBA-15 to adsorb polyphenols from red wine. The mesoporous molecular sieve silica SBA-15 was hydrothermally synthesized in acidic media and characterized by SAXRD, BET, EDX and SEM. The adsorption behavior of mesoporous silica SBA-15 was investigated at 5 °C for 24 h using an adsorbent dose of 8 g SBA-15 L−1 red wine. The total polyphenols content expressed as mg of gallic acid equivalents (GAE L−1) was estimated from the standard curve of gallic acid (absorbance at 280 nm). HPLC chromatograms of methanolic extract from mesoporous SBA-15 at 256, 280, 324, and 365 nm exhibits the strong retention of quercetin and cis-resveratrol and a reasonable retention of trans-resveratrol, catechin, epicatechin, rutin, and phenolic acids (meta- and para-hydroxybenzoic, vanillic, caffeic, syringic, salicylic and para-coumaric acids).  相似文献

A systematic study on interaction of Pd(II) with 7-iodo-8-hydroxyquinoline-5 sulfonic acid (Ferron) and the strongly basic anion exchange resin Purolite A-500 in its chloride form was carried out. It was found that for Ferron/resin ratio ranging from 0.15 to 0.70 mmol g-1, the retention of chelating reagent on the investigated ion exchanger is practically quantitative. The sorption increase of Pd(II) on Ferron-loaded resin was observed for higher values of parameters like: pH solution, initial concentration and temperature. It was observed that the equilibrium distribution of Pd(II) between sorbent and solution could adequately be described by the Langmuir model with two parameters. The thermodynamic quantities characteristic of Pd(II) sorption process (ΔG = -18.4 kJ mol-1; ΔH = 11.7 kJ mol-1; ΔS = 104.4 J mol-1 K-1) suggest a strong affinity between Ferron-loaded resin and the tested cation.  相似文献
