Exudates of Dionysia diapensifolia yielded (R)-(+)-3-acetoxy-3-phenyl-propiophenone as a new natural product with a basic dihydrochalcone structure, which was elucidated unequivocally by mass spectrometry and NMR spectroscopy. The sesquiterpenoidcarissone was found as the major compound in the exudate of D. gaubae var. megalantha. Sesquiterpenoids have so far not been described as exudate constituents of Primula and Dionysia. Structural identifications are discussed in detail, and the significance of the occurrence of these unusual compounds in exudates of Primulaceae is shortly addressed.  相似文献

In this study a major lectin called Concanavalin A (ConA) has been micropatterned on a glass substrate by microcontact printing and the patterns have been characterized with fluorescent and atomic force microscope for their uniformity. Interaction of the patterns with mammalian cells has been investigated by culturing L929 mouse fibroblast cells on the ConA printed glass surface. Cell culture results obtained from the microcontact printed patterns have also been compared and benchmarked with another patterning technique named micromolding in capillaries (MIMIC). It has been revealed that in spite of molecular level heterogeneity and agglomeration of protein molecules in microcontact printed form, they can still interact with cell surface glycoproteins, impede the mobility of membrane receptor which results in altered morphology of the fibroblast cells.  相似文献

Background  

The precise form of the light response of human cone photoreceptors in vivo has not been established with certainty. To investigate the response shape we compare the predictions of a recent model of transduction in primate cone photoreceptors with measurements extracted from human cones using the paired-flash electroretinogram method. As a check, we also compare the predictions with previous single-cell measurements of ground squirrel cone responses.  相似文献

In continuation of previous work, exudate flavonoid profiles of 22 new accessions of the genus Primula L. aligned to different subgenera were studied for the first time. Profiling was done by comparative TLC and UV-HPLC against authentic marker compounds. Most of the studied species accumulated the typical Primula flavonoids, comprising derivatives of unsubstituted flavone, of 5,8- or 5,6-hydroxyflavones including partly highly oxygenated flavones, together with 2,2'-diOH-chalcone in their exudate. The profile of P. edelbergii belonging to subgen. Sphondylia differed largely from the majority of Primula species studied so far, showing accumulation tendencies similar to those observed earlier for the closely related genus Dionysia. The phylogenetic significance of this diversification is shortly addressed.  相似文献

A green and efficient mechanochemical method for the synthesis of a series of 2-arylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridines was developed using an electrical grinder. I2 catalyzed mechanochemical grinding facilitates the cyclocondensation reaction between various aryl methyl ketones and 2-aminopyridines to afford 2-arylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridines in good yields at ambient temperature. The method was successfully used for the gram-scale synthesis of a marketed drug, zolimidine. The noticeable advantages of this environmentally sustainable protocol include mild conditions, simple instrumentation, inexpensive catalyst, atom economy, short reaction time etc.  相似文献
