The mass spectral fragmentations of eight 2-alkylthioorotic acids and their hydrobromides were investigated. Fragmentation pathways, the elucidation of which was assisted by accurate mass measurements and metastable transitions, are proposed. It was found that there is evidence in the electron impact mass spectra of the hydrobromides of 2-alkylthioorotic acids of intermolecular transfer of an alkyl group.  相似文献

The effects of intermolecular interactions on the second-order susceptibilities ((2)) of molecular crystals are studied by using a semiempirical quantum–chemical method. These effects are discussed on the basis of the super-molecular approach. The influence of the electrostatic interactions between adjacent unit cells on the tensor components of (2) was modeled by using the technique of cumulative atomic multipole moments (CAMMs).  相似文献

Eighteen new 2,4-di-ortho- (meta- and para-) bromo-(chloro- and nitro-)benzylthio-5-bromouracils (and 6-methyluracils) have been prepared. The structures of these compounds were confirmed by spectral (IR, UV/vis, 1H NMR) and elemental analyses. Estimation of pharmacotherapeutic potential has been made for synthesized compounds on the basis of prediction of activity spectra for substances (PASS).  相似文献

A set of exchange‐correlation functionals, including BLYP, PBE0, B3LYP, BHandHLYP, CAM‐B3LYP, LC‐BLYP, and HSE, has been used to determine static and dynamic nonresonant (nuclear relaxation) vibrational (hyper)polarizabilities for a series of all‐trans polymethineimine (PMI) oligomers containing up to eight monomer units. These functionals are assessed against reference values obtained using the Møller–Plesset second‐order perturbation theory (MP2) and CCSD methods. For the smallest oligomer, CCSD(T) calculations confirm the choice of MP2 and CCSD as appropriate for assessing the density functionals. By and large, CAM‐B3LYP is the most successful, because it is best for the nuclear relaxation contribution to the static linear polarizability, intensity‐dependent refractive index second hyperpolarizability, static second hyperpolarizability, and is close to the best for the electro‐optical Pockels effect first hyperpolarizability. However, none of the functionals perform satisfactorily for all the vibrational (hyper)polarizabilities studied. In fact, in the case of electric field‐induced second harmonic generation all of them, as well as the Hartree–Fock approximation, yield the wrong sign. We have also found that the Pople 6–31+G(d) basis set is unreliable for computing nuclear relaxation (hyper)polarizabilities of PMI oligomers due to the spurious prediction of a nonplanar equilibrium geometry. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

Porphyrin dyes fulfill an essential function in photosynthesis and are important in photodynamic therapy and in a range of electronic devices. Their spectroscopic characteristics may play a crucial role in these processes. The spectral properties of two porphyrin dyes: tetraphenylporphyrin and tetraphenysulfporphyrin in organic solvents (acetone, chloroform, methyl alcohol, and dimethyl-sulfoxide) and in polyvinyl alcohol and poly(methylmethacrylate) films have been investigated. Absorption, fluorescence, and microsecond time-resolved delayed luminescence spectra have been measured at room temperature. The existence of different aggregated dye forms in the ground and excited states has been demonstrated. The manifold of dye species depends on the solvent/polymer. In the case of the polymers, it also depends on the solvent used to coat the polymer film. Delayed luminescence spectra and decay times of the two porphyrins in the different solutions and in polymeric matrices suggest that different mechanisms of deexcitation of the singlet excited states may be responsible for their generation in these and other porphyrin dyes.  相似文献

In the present paper we analyze basis set superposition error (BSSE) removal methods from many-body components of interaction-induced electric properties. The Valiron–Mayer function counterpoise (VMFC), site–site function counterpoise (SSFC) and TB methods have been employed in order to obtain the incremental optical components of linear hydrogen fluoride clusters (HF)n, where n = {3,4}. Following Mierzwicki and Latajka, who have performed similar calculations for the interaction energy, we compare those three methods of eliminating BSSE using several Dunning’s correlation consistent basis sets.  相似文献

The formation of new microcapsules based on polyelectrolyte complexes between carrageenans and oligochitosan has been investigated. The optimization of the process, which includes the selection of the most suitable solvent and investigation of the influence of reaction conditions on capsule properties, is presented. Iota-carrageenan (1.2–2% wt.) prepared in HEPES buffer was found to be the most suitable for the formation of mechanically stable capsules. These new capsules combine extremely high deformability (>90%) and elasticity with permeability control and can be applied in various bioencapsulation technologies. It has been shown that the reaction time influences the mechanical properties, whereas carrageenan concentration and the temperature during the capsule formation effect both mechanical and porosity characteristic of the membrane. Moreover, the temperature influences the kinetics of the diffusion through the complex iota-carrageenan/oligochitosan membrane. In general egress is faster above the sol–gel transition point, indicating applicability in thermo-induced releasing systems.  相似文献
