Three new electron‐rich metal–organic frameworks ( MOF‐1 – MOF‐3 ) have been synthesized by employing ligands bearing aromatic tags. The key role of the chosen aromatic tags is to enhance the π‐electron density of the luminescent MOFs. Single‐crystal X‐ray structures have revealed that these MOFs form three‐dimensional porous networks with the aromatic tags projecting inwardly into the pores. These highly luminescent electron‐rich MOFs have been successfully utilized for the detection of explosive nitroaromatic compounds (NACs) on the basis of fluorescence quenching. Although all of the prepared MOFs can serve as sensors for NACs, MOF‐1 and MOF‐2 exhibit superior sensitivity towards 4‐nitrotoluene (4‐NT) and 2,4‐dinitrotoluene (DNT) compared to 2,4,6‐trinitrotoluene (TNT) and 1,3,5‐trinitrobenzene (TNB). MOF‐3 , on the other hand, shows an order of sensitivity in accordance with the electron deficiencies of the substrates. To understand such anomalous behavior, we have thoroughly analyzed both the steady‐state and time‐resolved fluorescence quenching associated with these interactions. Determination of static Stern–Volmer constants (KS) as well as collisional constants (KC) has revealed that MOF‐1 and MOF‐2 have higher KS values with 4‐NT than with TNT, whereas for MOF‐3 the reverse order is observed. This apparently anomalous phenomenon was well corroborated by theoretical calculations. Moreover, recyclability and sensitivity studies have revealed that these MOFs can be reused several times and that their sensitivities towards TNT solution are at the parts per billion (ppb) level.  相似文献

Extruded low-density polyethylene (LDPE) films commonly available in the market as 20-micron thick carrier bags were autoclaved, overlaid on nutrient agar plates and inoculated with BP/SU1 strain of Staphylococcus epidermis. The nutrient agar plate showed growth of the organism within two to three days. The polymer film supporting the growth of the organism showed pore formation as recorded by SEM analysis. The growth of BP/SU1 is supported by the presence of shredded LDPE as its only carbon source in inorganic salt minimal nutrient medium. The organism survives even after three months of inoculation and this is accompanied by gradual breakdown of the size of the shredded plastic as seen by light scattering. The cell-free supernatant of the organism, grown with the help of shredded plastic shows the presence of the over expressed proteins with approximate molecular weight of about 55 kDa and 35 kDa, through SDS-PAGE analysis.  相似文献

A simple, high‐throughput and specific high‐performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry method has been developed and validated according to the FDA guidelines for simultaneous quantification of olmesartan and pioglitazone in rat plasma. The bioanalytical method consists of liquid–liquid extraction and quantitation by triple quadrupole mass spectrometry using electrospray ionization technique, operating in multiple reaction monitoring and positive ion modes. The compounds were eluted isocratically on a C18 column with a mobile phase consisting of a mixture of methanol and water (containing 0.5% formic acid) in a ratio of 9:1. The response to olmesartan and pioglitazone was linear over the range 0.01–10 µg/mL. The validation results demonstrated that the method had satisfactory precision and accuracy across the calibration range. Intra‐ and inter‐day precisions ranged from 0.66 to 3.32 and from 0.94 to 2.93% (%CV), respectively. The accuracy determined at three quality control levels was within 91.27–107.28%. There was no evidence of instability of the analytes in rat plasma following the stability studies. The method proved highly reproducible and sensitive and was successfully applied in a pharmacokinetic study after single dose oral administration of olmesartan and pioglitazone to the rat. Primary objective of this study was to develop a stability-indicating reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for simultaneous quantitation of tramadol and aceclofenac in presence of their degradation products. The drugs were subjected to various International Conference on Harmonization recommended stress conditions, such as acid hydrolysis, alkaline hydrolysis, peroxide oxidation, thermolysis, and photolysis. The major degradation products got well resoluted from the analytes in HPLC analysis with a mobile phase composed of a mixture of 0.01?M ammonium acetate buffer (pH 6.5) and acetonitrile (65:35, v/v) through a Phenomenex Gemini C18 (250?mm?×?4.6?mm, 5?µm particle size) column. The method was linear over a range of 15–60?µg/mL for tramadol and 40–160?µg/mL for aceclofenac concentration. The analytes were detected at a wavelength of 270?nm. The method was validated and found to be specific, accurate, precise, stable, and robust for its intended use. The method can be recommended for its future use in routine quality control, accelerated and real-time stability analysis of the formulations containing tramadol and aceclofenac combination.  相似文献

Three new bicomponent hydrogels of riboflavin (R) with salicylic acid (S), dihydroxybenzoic acid (B) and acetoguanamine (D) in 1:1 molar ratio have been reported. FTIR and UV-vis spectra suggest formation of H-bonded complexes in 1:1 molar ratio of the components. The network consists of tape, bar and helical tubes for RB11, RS11 and RD11 systems, respectively. Reversible first order phase transition and invariant storage modulus (G') with angular frequency (ω) characterise the systems as forming thermoreversible hydrogels. The RD11 gel has the highest gel melting temperature and highest critical strain compared to other gels. WAXS study indicates different crystal structures for different gels. NMR spectra reveals higher shielding of protons in RD11 gel suggesting better π-stacking compared to RS11 and RB11 gels. RD11 gel shows two-fold enhancement of photoluminescence (PL) intensity with a substantial red shift of emission peak but RB11 and RS11 gels show PL-quenching. The gels exhibit a small decrease in lifetime and the PL property is very much temperature and pH dependent. So the complementary molecules have a pronounced effect on morphology, structure, stability and optical property of riboflavin gels.  相似文献

Synthesis of a series of two-dimensional metallamacrocycles via coordination-driven self-assembly of a shape-selective Pt(II)(2)-molecular building unit incorporating carbazole-ethynyl functionality is described. An equimolar (1?:?1) combination of a Pt(II)(2)-organometallic 90° acceptor, 1, with rigid linear ditopic donors (L(a) and L(b)) afforded [4 + 4] self-assembled octanuclear molecular squares, 2 and 3, in quantitative yields, respectively [L(a) = 4,4'-bipyridine; L(b) = trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethylene]. Conversely, a similar treatment of 1 with an amide-based unsymmetrical flexible ditopic donor, L(c), resulted in the formation of a [2 + 2] self-sorted molecular rhomboid (4a) as a single product [L(c) = N-(4-pyridyl)isonicotinamide]. Despite the possibility of several linkage isomeric macrocycles (rhomboid, triangle and square) due to the different connectivity of L(c), the formation of a single and symmetrical molecular rhomboid (4a) as the only product is an interesting observation. All the self-assembled macrocycles (2, 3 and 4a) were fully characterized by multinuclear NMR ((1)H and (31)P) and ESI-MS analysis. Further structural insights about the size and shape of the macrocycles were obtained through energy minimization using density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Decoration of the starting carbazole building unit with Pt-ethynyl functionality enriches the assemblies to be more π-electron rich and luminescent in nature. Macrocycles 2 and 3 could sense the presence of electron deficient nitroaromatics in solution by quenching of the initial intensity upon gradual addition of picric acid (PA). They exhibited the largest quenching response with high selectivity for nitroaromatics compared to several other electron deficient aromatics tested.  相似文献

Four new neutral copper azido polymers, [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(L(1))(2)](n) (1), [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(L(2))(2)](n) (2), [Cu(4)(N(3))(8)(L(3))(2)](n) (3), and [Cu(9)(N(3))(18)(L(4))(4)](n) (4) [L(1-4) are formed in situ by reacting pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde with 2-[2-(methylamino)ethyl]pyridine (mapy, L(1)), N,N-dimethylethylenediamine (N,N-dmen, L(2)), N,N-diethylethylenediamine (N,N-deen, L(3)), and N,N,2,2-tetramethylpropanediamine (N,N,2,2-tmpn, L(4))], have been synthesized by using 0.5 mol equiv of the chelating tridentate ligands with Cu(NO(3))(2)·3H(2)O and an excess of NaN(3). Single-crystal X-ray structures show that the basic unit of these complexes, especially 1-3, contains very similar Cu(II)(4) building blocks. The overall structure of 3 is two-dimensional, while the other three complexes are one-dimensional in nature. Complex 1 represents a unique example containing hemiaminal ether arrested by copper(II). Complexes 1 and 2 have a rare bridging azido pathway: both end-on and end-to-end bridging azides between a pair of Cu(II) centers. Cryomagnetic susceptibility measurements over a wide range of temperature exhibit dominant ferromagnetic behavior in all four complexes. Density functional theory calculations (B3LYP functional) have been performed on complexes 1-3 to provide a qualitative theoretical interpretation of their overall ferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献

We consider the class \(\Sigma (p)\) of univalent meromorphic functions f on \({\mathbb D}\) having a simple pole at \(z=p\in [0,1)\) with residue 1. Let \(\Sigma _k(p)\) be the class of functions in \(\Sigma (p)\) which have k-quasiconformal extension to the extended complex plane \({\hat{\mathbb C}}\), where \(0\le k < 1\). We first give a representation formula for functions in this class and using this formula, we derive an asymptotic estimate of the Laurent coefficients for the functions in the class \(\Sigma _k(p)\). Thereafter, we give a sufficient condition for functions in \(\Sigma (p)\) to belong to the class \(\Sigma _k(p).\) Finally, we obtain a sharp distortion result for functions in \(\Sigma (p)\) and as a consequence, we obtain a distortion estimate for functions in \(\Sigma _k(p).\)  相似文献

Let Co(α) denote the class of concave univalent functions in the unit disk ${\mathbb{D}}$ . Each function ${f\in Co(\alpha)}$ maps the unit disk ${\mathbb{D}}$ onto the complement of an unbounded convex set. In this paper we find the exact disk of variability for the functional ${(1-|z|^2)\left ( f^{\prime\prime}(z)/f^{\prime}(z)\right), f\in Co(\alpha)}$ . In particular, this gives sharp upper and lower estimates for the pre-Schwarzian norm of concave univalent functions. Next we obtain the set of variability of the functional ${(1-|z|^2)\left(f^{\prime\prime}(z)/f^{\prime}(z)\right), f\in Co(\alpha)}$ whenever f′′(0) is fixed. We also give a characterization for concave functions in terms of Hadamard convolution. In addition to sharp coefficient inequalities, we prove that functions in Co(α) belong to the H p space for p < 1/α.  相似文献
