The stereospecific epoxidation of olefins catalysed by ruthenium

Epoxidation of olefins by sodium periodate is effected by the catalysis of RuCl₃, (H₂O)_n associated with bipyridyl. The reaction is stereospecific for both cis and trans alkenes.     

Regiospecifically controlled formation of tetrasubstituted tributyltin ketone enolates catalyzed by a palladium complex

The palladium-catalyzed hydrostannolysis of α-disubstituted allyl β-keto esters yields the corresponding tributyltin β-keto carboxylates which loose carbon dioxide at very moderate temperature, thus leading to the regiospecific formation of tributyltin tetrasubstituted enolates.

Studies on some mono-η5-cyclopentadienyliron derivatives with chelate diphosphine ligands

The reactions between Fe(η⁵-C₅H₅)(LL)I (where LL = Ph₂PCH₂CH₂PPh₂, Me₂PCH₂CH₂PMe₂ or ()-DIOP) and TIBF₄ or TIPF₆ inpresence of olefins are described. Evidence is presented that the diphosphine ligands give rise to steric restrictions against coordination of olefins to the metal center.
