Background
Protein phosphatase one (PP1) is a ubiquitously expressed, highly conserved protein phosphatase that dephosphorylates target protein serine and threonine residues. PP1 is localized to its site of action by interacting with targeting or regulatory proteins, a majority of which contains a primary docking site referred to as the RVXF/W motif. 相似文献2.

A short and high yielding synthesis of a core trisaccharide 1 as the key building block in the assembly of a library of N-glycan neoconjugates is presented. The β-d-Manp-(1→4)-d-GlcpNAc linkage was introduced by inversion of the C-2 position of a β-glucoside. The glucosyl donor was efficiently synthesised following a recently published one-pot strategy. 2-Naphthylmethyl and benzylidene-acetal protection in the terminal mannose permitted selective liberation of main branching sites for subsequent glycosylation. A C5 azido linker attached to the anomeric position, which is stable throughout the synthesis, will allow for the posterior immobilisation of deprotected glycans on a microarray surface. 相似文献

alpha-Keto alkynes react with CO and H(2) in the presence of catalytic quantities of the zwitterionic rhodium complex (eta(6)-C(6)H(5)BPh(3))(-)Rh(+)(1,5-COD) and triphenyl phosphite affording either the 2-, 2(3H)-, or 2(5H)-furanones in 61-93% yields. The cyclohydrocarbonylation is readily accomplished using substrates containing alkyl, aryl, vinyl, and alkoxy groups at the acetylenic terminal, as well as a variety of primary, secondary, and tertiary alkyl, aryl, and heteroaryl groups connected to the ketone functionality. Structural and electronic properties present in the starting materials mediate the chemo- and regioselectivity of the reaction. 相似文献

Just say NO to biofilms: NO-donors are used to disperse a bacterial biofilm so that co-administered antibiotics will kill the more susceptible unattached cells. The chemically stable cephalosporin-3'-diazeniumdiolate NO-donor prodrug is activated by bacterial β-lactamases and facilitates this two-step biofilm erradication. 相似文献

Remarkably high and regular enantioselectivities are obtained in Friedel-Crafts alkylation reactions involving alpha'-hydroxy enone templates and Cu(II)-bis(oxazoline) complexes as catalysts. The simple elaboration of adducts provides a route to enantioenriched aldehydes, carboxylic acids, and ketones containing the pyrrole and indole frameworks. 相似文献
