We present findings from computer simulations of collisions of neon atomic beams with Na20 atomic clusters at different internal temperatures. A functional form for the double differential cross section is determined, and no simple signature of a phase transition is seen, even though the clusters undergo a melting phase transition in the temperature range investigated (100 K–400 K). Real-time packet traffic is characterized by a strict deadline on the end-to-end time delay and an upper bound on the information loss. Due to the high correlation among consecutive packets, the individual packet loss does not well characterize the performance of real-time packet sessions. An additional measure of packet loss is necessary to adequately assess the quality of each real-time connection. The additional measure considered here is the average number of consecutively lost packets, also called the average packet gap. We derive a closed form for the average packet gap for the multiclassG/G/m/B queueing system in equilibrium and show that it only depends on the loss behavior of two consecutive packets. This result considerably simplifies the monitoring process of real-time packet traffic sessions. If the packet loss process is markovian, the consecutive packet loss has a geometric distribution. 相似文献

Five 2-amino-4-(x-pyridyl)- and 2-amino-4-(x-quinolyl)thiazoles have been synthesized by the condensation of thiourea with bromoacetylpyridines and -quinolines. The reaction of pyridyl pyridylmethyl ketones with thiourea and halogens produced four 2-aminothiazoles possessing pyridyl substituents in 4- and 5-positions on the thiazole ring. Treatment of N-(3-pyridyl)- and N-(3-quinoiyl)thiourea with α-bromoketones gave seven new 2-(3-pyridyl)amino- and 2-(3-quinolyl)aminothiazoles. The ultraviolet spectra of the pyridyl- and quinolyl- substituted 2-aminothiazoles were recorded. 相似文献

Using Fickett’s model for reactive compressible flows, i.e., the reactive form of Burgers’ equation, we address the problem of shock induced ignition by a piston in a reactive medium characterized by a 2 step induction-reaction kinetics. Owing to the model’s simplicity, the ignition and acceleration mechanism is explained using the two families of characteristics admitted by the model. The energy release along the particle paths provides the amplification of forward-traveling pressure waves. These waves pre-compress the medium in the induction layer ahead of the reaction zone, therefore changing the induction delays of successive particles. The variation of the induction delay provides the modulation of the amplification of the forward traveling pressure waves by controlling the residence time of the pressure waves in the reaction zone. A closed form analytical solution is obtained by the method of characteristics and high activation energy asymptotics. The acceleration of the reaction zone was found to be proportional to the product of the activation energy, the ratio of the induction to reaction time and the heat release. This finding provides a theoretical justification for the previous use of this non-dimensional number to characterize the ignition regimes observed experimentally in detonations and shock induced ignition phenomena. Numerical simulations are presented and analyzed. Both subsonic and supersonic internal flame propagation are observed, consistent with experiment and previous reactive Euler models. 相似文献

Proficiency testing is among the most methods to assess the accuracy of the analytical data produced by laboratories. The results presented in this paper show the performance of the laboratory for three intercomparisons organized by Radionuclide Metrology Laboratory (RML) and by IAEA, in which SALMROM laboratory have participated in three consecutive years. The feedbacks from the final reports from RML and IAEA demonstrate the performance of the laboratory where 34 out of 39 pass all acceptance criteria of the test. The rest of five results which failed served to improve the laboratory analysis and to optimize accuracy measurements. The overall results of the proficiency tests point out the reliability and traceability of the gamma spectrometry system used for environmental measurements. 相似文献

This paper is aimed to analyse the thermal behaviour in air of edible mushrooms through nonisothermal (TG, DTG, DTA) and calorimetric (Berthelot calorimeter) methods. The studied mushrooms were Pleurotus ostreatus spontaneously grown and from culture and Agaricus bisporus from culture, currently used in alimentation but insufficiently investigated from this point of view. The analysis of TG–DTG–DTA curves has indicated that the degradation mechanism is complex and characteristic to every species and major differences between the cap and the stipe of investigated mushrooms have not been recorded. These species are thermally stable in the range of 30–160 °C. The thermal stability in terms of initial degradation temperature (T i °C) and the temperature corresponding to the conversion grade (T α=0.03 °C) indicate that the stipe has a thermal stability close to the cap one and that the cultivated mushrooms are more thermally stable than those spontaneously grown. The obtained results concerning the combustion of the sample using Berthelot calorimeter are in accordance with the TG–DTG–DTA analysis. The residue obtained is a measure of the mineral content and is quantitatively close. 相似文献
