Pyrolysis is the important stage of polymer combustion. This process depends on molecular and submolecular structure of polymer as well as conditions of heat affect. It may be realized through the formation of nonvolatile carbonized product. The basic conception of the present work consists in the transformation of macromolecules into carbonized structure which realises by means of formation of the thermodynamically-advantageous intermediate compounds with a system of π-conjugated unsaturated carbon bonds (acyclic or aromatic nature) and by their following conversion into condensed aromatic structures. Certain mechanical properties of a phenol — formaldehyde resin of the novolac type cured with hexa methylenetetramine in the presence of PCB have been investigated. The curves representing the dependence of the flexural strength, impact strength, and hardness of the specimens on PCB concentration are extremal in character. It is shown by electron microscope techniques combined with oxygen etching of the cleavage surface that the improvement in mechanical properties is associated with a change in the structure of the crosslinked polymer.Communication 108 of the series "Polymers with a conjugation system."Institute of Chemical Physics, AS USSR, Moscow. The dynamics of high-frequency field solitons is considered using the extended nonhomogeneous nonlinear Schrödinger equation with induced scattering from damped low-frequency waves (pseudoinduced scattering). This scattering is a 3D analog of the stimulated Raman scattering from temporal spatially homogeneous damped low-frequency modes, which is well known in optics. Spatial inhomogeneities of secondorder linear dispersion and cubic nonlinearity are also taken into account. It is shown that the shift in the 3D spectrum of soliton wavenumbers toward the short-wavelength region is due to nonlinearity increasing in coordinate and to decreasing dispersion. Analytic results are confirmed by numerical calculations. 相似文献
