Some bipolyesters consisting of 1,2-propene glycol residue (P) and symmetric aromatic diacid residue constituted by two p-oxybenzoyl groups coupled by a terephthaloyl (HTH), phthaloyl (HOH) and isophthaloyl (HIH) group, and a nonsymmetric diacid residue constituted by a p-oxybenzoyl and a terephthaloyl group (HT), have been investigated by direct pyrolysis–mass spectrometry. The results show that intramolecular exchange reactions occurring at the pyrolysis stage cause a reorganization of the copolymer sequences. Sequential bipolyesters I–IV are ideal materials for the investigation of the extent of thermal reorganization induced in the bipolymer sequences by the pyrolytic process. 相似文献

The thermal fragmentation processes in poly-Schiff bases have been investigated by direct pyrolysis–mass spectrometry. The mass spectral data show that the thermal fragmentation occurring in the polymers under investigation is characterized by hydrogen transfer reactions. In the case of a totally aromatic poly-Schiff base (polymer I ), the thermal fragmentation process involves hydrogen transfer irom the methyne group with formation of fragments bearing nitrile and/or phenyl end groups. In the case of aromatic-aliphatic poly-Schiff bases (polymers II–IV ), the hydrogen transfer process occurs from the aliphatic methylene groups. The latter process involves a lower energy and therefore occurs at lower temperatures with respect to the totally aromatic polymer I , with formation of thermal fragments bearing olefin and/or imine end groups. Beside these fragments, several thermal fragmentation compounds are also evolved by multiple hydrogen transfer reactions. 相似文献

An aqueous solution spectroscopic (Vis and EPR) study of the copper(II) complexes with the Ac-HGGG-NH2 and Ac-PHGGGWGQ-NH2 polypeptides (generically designated as L) suggests square base pyramids ascribable to [Cu(L)H(-2)] complex species, which contain three nitrogen donor atoms, arising from imidazole and peptide groups, in the equatorial plane and for a pseudo-octahedral geometry in the case of [CuLH-3]- and [Cu(L)H-4]2- which have four nitrogen donor atoms in their equatorial plane. The coordination sphere of the copper complex in the [Cu(L)H(-2)] species, which is present at neutral pH values, is completed by two oxygen donor atoms. ESI-MS spectra ascertained that water molecules are not present in the coordination equatorial plane of this latter species, in comparison with other copper(II) complexes with ligands bearing nitrogen and oxygen donor atoms and surely having equatorial water molecules. This indicates the coordination of a carbonyl oxygen atom in the equatorial plane has to be invoked. However, no direct proof about the involvement of a carbonyl group oxygen donor atom apically linked to copper was obtained, due to the flexibility of these structures at room temperature. Additionally, the low A(ll) value leads one to consider another oxygen atom of a carbonyl group being involved in the apical bond to copper in a fast exchange fashion. This apical interaction, which may also involve a water molecule, is more pronounced in the Cu-Ac-HGGG-NH2 than in the analogous Cu-Ac-PHGGGWGQ-NH2 system, probably because of the presence of tryptophan and proline in the polypeptide sequence. 相似文献

Tight contact ion pairs of general formula {Pt(H(2)-R(2)-dto)(2)(2+),(X(-))(2)} have been prepared, and their absorption spectra and luminescence properties (at room temperature in dichloromethane fluid solution and at 77 K in butyronitrile rigid matrix) have been studied (dto = dithiooxamide; R = methyl, X = Cl (1); R = butyl, X = Cl (2); R = benzyl, X = Cl (3); R = cyclohexyl, X = Cl (4); R = cyclohexyl, X = Br (5); R = cyclohexyl, X = I (6)). The absorption spectra of all the compounds are dominated by moderately strong Pt(dpi)/S(p) to dithiooxamide (pi) charge transfer (Pt/S --> dto CT) bands in the visible region (epsilon in the 10(4)-10(5) M(-)(1) cm(-)(1) range). Absorption features are also present at higher energies, due to pi-pi transitions centered in the dto ligands (ligand centered, LC). All the compounds exhibit a unstructured luminescence band in fluid solution at room temperature, with the maximum centered in the 700-730 nm range. The luminescence bands are blue-shifted about 4000 cm(-)(1) on passing to the rigid matrix at 77 K. Luminescence lifetimes are on the 10(-)(8)-10(-)(7) s time scale at room temperature and 1 order of magnitude longer at 77 K. Luminescence is assigned to triplet Pt/S --> dto CT excited states in all cases. Compounds 3-6 also exhibit a second higher-energy luminescence band at room temperature, centered at about 610 nm, attributed to a LC excited state. Charge transfer interactions between halides and dto ligands destabilize dto-centered orbitals, affecting the energy of Pt/S --> dto CT transitions and states. The X counterions and X --> dto CT levels are proposed to play a role in promoting excited state conversion between LC and Pt/S --> dto CT levels. The R substituents on the nitrogen atoms of the dto ligands influence the absorption and photophysical properties of the compounds, by affecting proximity of the ion pairs. The possibility to functionalize the R substituents may open the way to interface these luminescent compounds with desired substrates and to construct supramolecular assemblies. 相似文献

Six different racemates of the profen family were used as analytes in order to test the chiral selector properties of three members of a new class of cyclodextrin derivatives, hemispherodextrins (HMs), in capillary electrophoresis. In addition to experiments carried out to separate each enantiomeric pair one by one, other experiments were carried out on samples containing all six enantiomeric pairs. Electropherograms were obtained either by adding a single HM to the background electrolyte (BGE), or a binary mixture of HMs. The results obtained confirm the excellent chiral selector properties of the HMs, and furthermore show that these compounds can also be used for achiral selection. When mixing different HMs, a complementary effect in chiral selectivity is observed, which, in our opinion, deserves further study. 相似文献

The separation of three pairs of enantiomeric herbicides has been successfully achieved by capillary electrophoresis at two different pH values in the presence of cyclodextrin derivatives previously synthesized in our laboratory. Two of these derivatives constitute a new class of receptor, the hemispherodextrins, in which a trehalose capping moiety is bonded to beta-cyclodextrin. Liquid Phase Photo-Deposition (LPPD) technique has been used to obtain both colloidal particles and thin films of metallic
and chloride nickel from solutions of only precursor Ni(acac)2 (acac=2,4-pentandionato). Metallic nickel was obtained from ethanol solutions by direct nickel(II) photoreduction at 254 nm
and by acetone sensitised reaction at 300 nm. In this latter process the rate was higher than in the first one. NiCl2 was formed from CCl4 solution by a solvent-initiated reaction. TEM analysis, performed on colloidal particles of nickel, showed that their dimensions
are in the range 2–4 nm. The films did not present carbon contamination and were characterized by AFM, XPS and GIXRD. Metallic
films consisted of particles of 20–40 nm that are the result of the aggregation of smaller crystallites (4–5 nm). Larger agglomerations
