New Schiff bases of 2,4‐dihydroxybenzaldehyde with siloxane‐α,ω‐diamines having different numbers of siloxane units in the chain have been synthesized and characterized by spectroscopy, elemental and thermal analyses. These azomethines were found to form complexes readily with copper(II), nickel(II), cobalt(II), cadmium(II) and zinc(II). From IR and UV–Vis studies, the phenolic oxygen and imine nitrogen of the ligand were found to be the coordination sites. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) data indicate the chelates to be more stable than the corresponding ligands. The melting points increase with shortening of the siloxane segment from azomethine, as well as the result of complexation. The chelates obtained were covalently inserted in polymeric linear structures by polycondensation through the OH‐difunctionalized ligand with 1,3‐bis(carboxypropyl)tetramethyldisiloxane. Direct polycondensation, assisted either by acetic anhydride or N,N′‐dicyclohexylcarbodiimide as dehydrating agent and the complex 4‐(dimethylamino)pyridinium 4‐toluenesulfonate as catalyst, was used for the synthesis of these compound types. The structures of the polymers obtained were confirmed by IR, UV and 1H NMR. Characterization was undertaken by TGA, solubility tests and viscosity measurements. Two new polymeric structures containing ferrocene units along the chains, namely poly(silyl ester)s, have been synthesized and characterized: a geminal poly(silyl ester) (g-PSE) and one having a disiloxane spacer between the silyl ester groups (s-PSE). The condensation polymerization of AA/BB monomer systems in solution was used in both cases as preparation method involving a silicon-containing diol, (diphenylsilane diol or 1,3-bis(hydroxy)-tetramethyldisiloxane), and 1,1′-di(chlorocarbonyl)ferrocene. The polymers were investigated by differential pulse voltammetry in order to evaluate the redox behavior. Due to the presence of the silyl ester groups in the chain, these polymers are hydrolytically degradable.  相似文献

2’-(4-Pyridyl)- and 2’-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-TCIBPs (TCIBP = 3,3’,5,5’-tetrachloro-2-iodo-4,4’-bipyridyl) are chiral compounds that showed interesting inhibition activity against transthyretin fibrillation in vitro. We became interested in their enantioseparation since we noticed that the M-stereoisomer is more effective than the P-enantiomer. Based thereon, we recently reported the enantioseparation of 2’-substituted TCIBP derivatives with amylose-based chiral columns. Following this study, herein we describe the comparative enantioseparation of both 2’-(4-pyridyl)- and 2’-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-TCIBPs on four cellulose phenylcarbamate-based chiral columns aiming to explore the effect of the polymer backbone, as well as the nature and position of substituents on the side groups on the enantioseparability of these compounds. In the frame of this project, the impact of subtle variations of analyte and polysaccharide structures, and mobile phase (MP) polarity on retention and selectivity was evaluated. The effect of temperature on retention and selectivity was also considered, and overall thermodynamic parameters associated with the analyte adsorption onto the CSP surface were derived from van ’t Hoff plots. Interesting cases of enantiomer elution order (EEO) reversal were observed. In particular, the EEO was shown to be dependent on polysaccharide backbone, the elution sequence of the two analytes being P-M and M-P on cellulose and amylose tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate), respectively. In this regard, a theoretical investigation based on molecular dynamics (MD) simulations was performed by using amylose and cellulose tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) nonamers as virtual models of the polysaccharide-based selectors. This exploration at the molecular level shed light on the origin of the enantiodiscrimination processes.  相似文献

Summary The single-step electrochemical synthesis of neutral transition metal complexes of imidazole, pyrazole and their derivatives has been achieved at ambient temperature. The metal was oxidized in an Me2CO solution of the diazole to yield complexes of the general formula: [M(Iz)2] (where M = Co, Ni, Cu, Zn; Iz = imidazolate); [M(MeIz)2] (where M = Co, Ni, Cu, Zn; MeIz = 4-methylimidazolate); [M(PriIz)2] (where M = Co, Ni, Cu, Zn; PriIz = 2-isopropylimidazolate); [M(pyIz)n] (where M = CoIII, CuII, ZnII; pyIz = 2-(2-pyridyl)imidazolate); [M(Pz)n] (where M = CoIII, NiII, CuII, ZnII; Pz = pyrazolate); [M(ClPz)n] and [M(IPz)n] (where M = CoIII, NiII, CuII, ZnII; ClPz = 4-chloropyrazolate; IPz = 4-iodopyrazolate); [M(Me2Pz)n] (where M = CoII, CuI, ZnII; Me2Pz = 3,5-dimethylpyrazolate) and [M(BrMe2Pz)n] (where M = CoII, NiII, CuI, ZnII; BrMe2Pz = 3,5-dimethyl-4-bromopyrazolate). Vibrational spectra verified the presence of the anionic diazole and electronic spectra confirmed the stereochemistry about the metal centre. Variable temperature (360-90 K) magnetic measurements of the cobalt and copper chelates revealed strong antiferromagnetic interaction between the metal ions in the lattice. Data for the copper complexes were fitted to a Heisenberg (S= ) model for an infinite one-dimensional linear chain, yielding best fit values of J=–62––65cm–1 andg = 2.02–2.18. Data for the cobalt complexes were fitted to an Ising (S= ) model with J=–4.62––11.7cm–1 andg = 2.06–2.49.  相似文献

In the present paper, the reaction of chemical immobilization of catalase on a crosslinked macromolecular carrier of a polysaccharide structure (gellan) is studied. The influence of some reaction parameters (enzyme/carrier, activator/carrier ratios, duration) on the activity of enzymatic products is analyzed. The kinetics of the biocatalytic process, stability under different pH and temperature conditions, and the inhibitors effect were studied for the immobilized enzymes.  相似文献

Novel supports based on carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), crosslinked with epichlorohydrin (EPC), and microparticles based on acetylphthalylcellulose (APC), for sustained‐release of isosorbide dinitrate (Isoket, Ik), were obtained. The drug has been included into CMC hydrogels through diffusion from ethanol‐water solution. Studies about the ethanol–water ratio influence on including the drug have shown an increased amount of included drug at higher content of water in the alcohol‐water mixture. Isoket–ACP microparticles have been obtained by drug and polymer co‐precipitation from emulsified aqueous solution.

The kinetics for “in vitro” release of Ik from polymeric materials, in simulated conditions for intestinal tract medium, where the drug is preferentially absorbed, has been analyzed. The experimental data have shown a “zero” order kinetic for drug release, which is characteristic for systems controlled by diffusion.  相似文献

One major challenge in nucleic acids analysis by hybridization probes is a compromise between the probe's tight binding and sequence‐selective recognition of nucleic acid targets folded into stable secondary structures. We have been developing a four‐way junction (4WJ)‐based sensor that consists of a universal stem‐loop (USL) probe immobilized on an electrode surface and two adaptor strands (M and F). The sensor was shown to be highly selective towards single base mismatches at room temperature, able to detect multiple targets using the same USL probe, and have improved ability to detect folded nucleic acids. However, some nucleic acid targets, including natural RNA, are folded into very stable secondary and tertiary structures, which may represent a challenge even for the 4WJ sensors. This work describes a new sensor, named MVF since it uses three probe stands M, V and F, which further improves the performance of 4WJ sensors with folded targets. The MVF sensor interrogating a 16S rRNA NASBA amplicon with calculated folding energy of ?32.82 kcal/mol has demonstrated 2.5‐fold improvement in a signal‐to‐background ratio in comparison with a 4WJ sensor lacking strand V. The proposed design can be used as a general strategy in the analysis of folded nucleic acids including natural RNA.  相似文献

The new dicarboxylic acid, 1,3-bis(p-carboxyphenylene-ester-methylene)tetramethyldisiloxane (H2L, 1) was obtained by treating 1,3-bis(chloromethyl)-1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane with a mixture of terephthalic acid and terephthalic acid sodium salt in a 1:1 ratio. In this approach, besides the desired compound 1 (33 wt % yield), the condensation cyclic dimer 2 (7 wt % yield) and an oligomer 3 (10 wt % yield) resulted. The reaction between dicarboxylic acid H2L, where L is the carboxylate ligand, along with imidazole as co-ligand, and copper hydroxide resulted in the formation of a coordination compound [Cu(HIm)4(H2O)2]L·4.5H2O (4). Single-crystal X-ray crystallography has revealed that the crystal structure of 4 is a self-assembled H-bonded three-dimensional supramolecular structure. FTIR and NMR spectral techniques were also used to characterize the formed structures. Optical and thermal properties of all compounds were studied. The stability of the supramolecular structure in solution (methanol) and with temperature was studied using ATR-FTIR. The ability of the macrocycle 2 to bind potassium cations in solution was investigated by UV–vis spectrophotometry.  相似文献

Electronic transport properties are presented for the three lowest-energy conformers of the chrysazine molecule. The current–voltage characteristics of these isomers are calculated for two different connections of the molecule to gold leads. The results for the various structures differ so significantly from each other that the specific conformer and its connection to the leads can be identified by its transport characteristics. The calculated transport properties suggest that chrysazine may be used as a molecular optical switch.  相似文献

A highly modular approach to fused 1,2,3-triazoles has been developed featuring a one-pot procedure combining copper(I) catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition and palladium-catalyzed C-H bond functionalization. A class of structurally unique heterocycles was synthesized in good yields.  相似文献
