A simple and highly sensitive spectrofluorometric method was developed for the determination of some 1,4-dihydropyridine compounds
namely, nicardipine, nifedipine and isradipine in pharmaceutical preparations and biological fluids. The method is based on
the reduction of nicardipine, nifedipine and isradipine with Zn/HCl and measuring the fluorescence intensity obtained (λem/λex) at 460/364, 450/393 and 446/360 nm, respectively. The factors affecting the development of the fluorophore and its stability
were studied and optimized. The effect of some surfactants such as β-cyclodextrin (βCD), carboxymethylcelullose (CMC), sodium
dodecyl sulphate (SDS) and triton X-100, on the fluorescence intensity was studied. The fluorescence intensity-concentration
plots of nicardipine, nifedipine and isradipine were rectilinear over the ranges 0.4–6.0, 0.2–4.0 and 0.1–9.0 μg ml−1 with detection limits of 0.0028, 0.017 and 0.016 μg ml−1, respectively. The proposed method was successfully applied to commercial tablets containing the compounds; the percentage
recovery agreed well with those obtained using the official methods. The method was further extended to the in vitro determination
of the compounds in spiked human plasma and urine samples. A proposal of the reduction reaction pathway was postulated.

Assuming the Riemann Hypothesis, Montgomery showed by meansof his pair correlation method that at least two-thirds of thezeros of Riemann's zeta-function are simple. Later he and Taylorimproved this to 67.25 percent and, more recently, Cheer andGoldston increased the percentage to 67.2753. Here we proveby a new method that if the Riemann and Generalized LindelöofHypotheses hold, then at least 70.3704 percent of the zerosare simple and at least 84.5679 percent are distinct. The application of direct-current differential electrolytic potentiometry to the nonaqueous titration of amino acids was investigated. The basic character of amino acids in acetic acid was enhanced to permit their direct titration with perchloric acid. A pair of antimony electrodes was used as an indicating system. The shapes of the titration curves obtained were almost symmetrical with sharp peaks. The optimum current density for those titrations was found to be 1-2 microA/cm2. The procedure was applied successfully to the determination of certain amino acids in drug formulations, and the results were favorably compared statistically with those obtained by official methods. 相似文献

ac Conductivity measurements are carried out across the metal to insulator transition in NiAl0.7Cr0.7Fe0.6O4. The low frequency data is analyzed using Summerfield scaling theory for hopping conductivity. The exponent of the scaling
behavior has significantly different values in the conducting and insulating regimes. The hopping frequency and the zero frequency
conductivity are found to increase with temperature, slowly in the metallic regime and rapidly in the insulating regime. 相似文献

DC magnetization, neutron depolarization and neutron diffraction (with both polarized and unpolarized neutrons) measurements
have been reported for the Co1.1−x
Zn
x
Ge0.1Fe1.2O1 spinels with x=0.5, 0.6 and 0.7. Neutron depolarization and neutron diffraction measurements confirm the presence of a long range ferrimagnetic
ordering of the local canted spins in these ferrite samples. The observed features of low field magnetization have been explained
under the framework of thermally activated domain wall movement of ferrimagnetic arrangement of local canted spins. An important
role of magnetic anisotropy (due to the presence of Co2+ ions) in establishing the magnetic ordering and domain kinetics in these ferrites has been observed. 相似文献
