Using a new graph counting technique suitable for self-similar fractals, exact 18th-order series expansions for SAWs on some Sierpinski carpets are generated. From them, the critical fugacityx c and critical exponents SAW and SAW are obtained. The results show a linear dependence of the critical fugacity with the average number of bonds per site of the lattices studied. We find for some carpets with low lacunarity that SAW<0.75, thus violating the relation SAW(fractal) > SAW (d) for SAWs on the fractals which are embedded in ad-dimensional Euclidean space.  相似文献

Monolithic stationary phases based on octadecyl acrylate for CEC using different initiating systems (UV irradiation, thermal, and chemical initiation) in the presence of lauroyl peroxide as initiator were synthesized. For each initiation mode, the influence of the porogenic solvent composition on both the morphological and electrochromatographic properties of the resulting monoliths was investigated. Under optimal conditions, excellent efficiencies for the photochemically and chemically polymerized monoliths (minimum plate heights of 6.9–10.7 and 6.5–12.6 μm, respectively) were achieved. Thermally initiated columns gave lower efficiency values, permeabilities, and longer analysis times compared to these initiating systems. The produced monolithic stationary phases were evaluated in terms of reproducibility and gave RSD values below 9.2, 10.6, and 9.8% for UV, thermally, and chemically initiated columns, respectively.  相似文献

Ultrasonic irradiation substantially improves the reaction of cyclohexene with I2 in aqueous dioxane in the presence of Cu(OAc)2 · H2O to generate the expected iodohydrin in high yield. The product undergoes cyclization to the epoxide by biphasic treatment with either Na2CO3 or KOH in a sonication‐sensitive step.  相似文献

A quick and accurate methodology that is based on Langmuir’s equation and that is developed by utilising a DSC7 device is proposed for the measurement of the enthalpies of sublimation of substances characterised by vapour pressures of approximately 1.0 Pa at room temperature. The procedure was applied to ferrocene and nickelocene; the accuracy and uncertainty associated with the experimental results show that the reliability of the developed indirect method is comparable to the direct calorimetric measurements also performed in this work. Furthermore, the melting data and crystal-phase heat capacities for both metallocenes were calorimetrically measured, whereas the gas-phase heat capacity for each metallic bis(cyclopentadienyl) was theoretically estimated by DFT calculations.  相似文献

This work presents an overview of the applicability of PCR-based capillary electrophoresis (CE) in food authentication and traceability of foods from animal origin. Analytical approaches for authenticating and tracing meat and meat products and fish and seafood products are discussed. The electrochemical behavior of Zn in 0.5 M NaOH solutions containing various concentrations (0.01–0.1 M) of ClO3 ? or ClO4 ? anions was studied with potentiodynamic anodic polarization and chronoamperometry techniques. Microstructural and topographical characterization of the pitted surfaces was carried out by ex situ scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy examinations. Addition of either ClO3 ? or ClO4 ? stimulated general corrosion and ruptured the passive layer (stable pitting), with ClO3 ? being more aggressive than ClO4 ?. Metastable pitting events appear as current oscillations (spikes) at potentials close to the pitting potential when Cl? ions are produced by cathodic reduction of ClO3 ? and ClO4 ? before passive layer growth. Current–time measurements are performed at fixed potential after production of Cl? ions and show that the rate of metastable pitting and the intensity of current spikes increase with the potential and the concentration of aggressive anions. Concepts of thin film growth are applied to the passive layer formation in order to explain those results. Metastable events are related to the presence of defects in the passive layer because their frequency and intensity are enhanced in conditions that favor defect formation and roughening in growing films, while stable pitting typically occurs at regions of high metal disorder.  相似文献

Abstract  

One salt and two Cu(II) complexes (H2hsm)(ox), 1, [Cu(hsm)(ox)], 2, and [Cu(hsm)(ox)H2O], 3, have been synthesized and X-ray characterized (hsm is histamine and ox2− is the oxalate dianion). Starting from the prochiral tetracoordinated complex 2, pentacoordinated complex 3 crystallizes as a racemic mixture of the enantiomeric Δ and Λ isomers, in space group P21/c. In all cases, the side chain of the hsm group is gauche, allowing the formation of strong hydrogen bonds in the salt 1, and to chelate the metal center in complexes 2 and 3. The combination hsm/ox seems to favor the formation of 2D supramolecular structures (planes or wavy planes), through efficient networks of N–H···O hydrogen bonds. An anion-binding approach to the problem of preparing enantioenriched γ-lactams from enolisable anhydrides and imines is reported. A simple bisurea catalyst promotes the cycloaddition between α-aryl succinic anhydrides and either PMP- or benzhydryl-protected aldimines to provide γ-lactams with two contiguous stereocentres (one quaternary) with complete diastereocontrol and high to excellent enantioselectivity for the first time. A DFT study has provided insight into the catalyst mode of action and the origins of the observed stereocontrol.  相似文献
