西沙膜基藻——中国西沙群岛的新蓝藻

本文根据在我国广东省西沙群岛的中建岛采集的一种海藻,作者建立了一个新属新种蓝藻——西沙膜基藻 Parenchymorpha xishanica Tseng et Hua gen.et sp.nov.,并根据这种新蓝藻,建立了新科蓝藻膜基藻科Parenchymorphataceae.稀有的印度蓝藻印度伊延藻 Iyengariella tirupatiensis与这种中国蓝藻具有许多共同特点,因此,作者将它从鞭枝藻科Mastigocladaceae转移到新科.本文还阐述了新属和新科的系统地位;新科被认为接近于在蓝藻里进化程度很高的真枝藻科Stigonemataceae。     

PARENCHYMORPHA XISHANICA,A NEW CYANOPHYTE FROM XISHA ISLANDS OF CHINA

A new cyanophyte, Parenchymorpha xishanica Tseng et Hua, gen. et sp. nov. has beendescribed on the basis of a collection from Zhongjiandao, Xisha Islands of Guangdong Prov-ince, China. A new family has also been proposed, namely, Parenchymorphataceae Tseng etHun, faro. nov. The rare Indian eyanophyte, Iyengariella tirupatiensis Desikaehary which is sim-ilar to the Chinese eyanophyte in several respects has been transferred from the Mastigocla-daeeae to the newly proposed family. A discussion has also been made on the systematicposition of the new genus and the new family which is considered to be close to the highlyevolved eyanophyte family Stigonemataceae.
