A commonly encountered problem in the conservation of historical murals is the identification of sections in the plaster that have detached from the wall and thus threaten to fall off. Commonly, walls are inspected by the acoustic response to a gentle finger-tapping (percussion method). Since this is a costly and cumbersome technique, means for a more automatic inspection are searched for. A TV-holography system of increased sensitivity in combination with acoustic excitation of the object is shown to be a new and powerful tool for monitoring of loose areas. It has the advantage of non-contact and remote operation which, for example, is extremely useful in large buildings. Principles of the method, experimental results obtained at an artificial wall in the laboratory, and a thorough comparison of results from historical sites gained by the traditional percussion method and the new technique are presented. The latter shows very good agreement in the assessment of wall quality and thus is evidence of the suitability of the optical equipment for tasks in conservation. 相似文献

A new method is described to create secrete-codes in the security holograms for enhancing their anti-counterfeiting characteristics.
To imitate these codes is difficult as pure phase objects having complex phase distribution function are used to modulate
the object beam that is recorded in conjunction with an encoded interferometric reference beam derived from a key hologram.
Lloyd’s folding mirror interferometer is used to convert phase variations of the reconstructed wave-front into an intensity
pattern for hologram authenticity verification. Creating the secrete-codes through an interferometric reference beam from
the key hologram facilitates a multi-stage authenticity verification as well as easy repositioning of the security hologram
through a specific Moiré pattern generated during the verification process.

Krause’s model of opinion dynamics has recently been the subject of several studies, partly because it is one of the simplest multi-agent systems involving position-dependent changing topologies. In this model, agents have an opinion represented by a real number and they update it by averaging those agent opinions distant from their opinion by less than a certain interaction radius. Some results obtained on this model rely on the fact that the opinion orders remain unchanged under iteration, a property that is consistent with the intuition in models with simultaneous updating on a fully connected communication topology.Several variations of this model have been proposed. We show that some natural variations are not order preserving and therefore cause potential problems with the theoretical analysis and the consistence with the intuition. We consider a generic version of Krause’s model parameterized by an “influence function” that encapsulates most of the variations proposed in the literature. We then derive a necessary and sufficient condition on this function for the opinion order to be preserved. 相似文献

A protocol of quantum secret sharing between multiparty and multiparty with four states was presented. It was shown that this
protocol can nullify the Trojan horse attack with a multi-photon signal, the fake-signal attack with Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen
pairs, the attack with single photons, and the attack with invisible photons. In addition, the upper bounds of the average
success probabilities were given for dishonest agent eavesdropping encryption using the fake-signal attack with any two-particle
entangled states.
