We assess the benefits of sharing demand forecast information in a manufacturer–retailer supply chain, consisting of a traditional retail channel and a direct channel. The demand is a linear function of price with a Gaussian primary demand (i.e., zero-price market potential). Both the manufacturer and the retailer set their price based on their forecast of the primary demand. In this setting, we investigate the value of sharing demand forecasts. We analyze the ‘make-to-order’ scenario, in which prices are set before and production takes place after the primary demand is known, and the ‘make-to-stock’ scenario, in which production takes place and prices are set before the primary demand is known. We also compare the supply chain performance with and without the direct channel under some assumptions (production cost is zero, and each demand function has the same slope of price). We find that the direct channel has a negative impact on the retailer’s performance, and, under some conditions, the manufacturer and the whole supply chain are better off. Our research extends and complements prior research that has investigated only the inventory and replenishment-related benefits of information sharing.  相似文献

Fuzzy random vector is a measurable map from a probability space to a collection of fuzzy vectors. Our aim in this paper is to discuss the measurability criteria for fuzzy random vectors, and show that under mild assumption, the measurability criteria for upper semicontinuous fuzzy random vectors can be expressed in several different but equivalent formulations. Finally, applying the obtained results, we resolve an open problem about the relationship between fuzzy random vectors and fuzzy random variables.  相似文献

In this paper,we study weighted composition operators on theFock space F2.We prove that each bounded composition operator on F2 is complex symmetric.This is in sharp contrast with the phenomenon on the Hardy space H2(D).We characterize Hermitian weighted composition operators and algebraic weighted composition operators with degree less than or equal to two on F2.In addition,we investigate cyclicity and hypercyclicity of complex symmetric weighted composition operators.We also characterize those weighted compositionoperators that preserveframes,tight frames or normalized tight frames on F2.Finally,we study mean ergodicity and uniformly mean ergodicity of weighted composition operators.  相似文献

Phase equilibria of the quaternary NaCl–NaBr–Na2SO4–H2O system at 323 K were studied by the isothermal dissolution equilibrium method. The solubilities of salts and densities of saturated solutions were determined. Solid solutions [Na(Cl, Br)] were found in the experiments. The phase diagram of the quaternary system has no invariant point, but has one univariant curve at the boundary of Na(Cl, Br) and Na2SO4 crystallization fields. The experimental results show that an increase of the NaBr concentration is accompanied by an obvious increase of the solution density and the decrease of the solubilities of NaCl and Na2SO4.  相似文献

To expand the applications of graphene-based materials to biogas purification, a series of reduced graphene oxide aerogels (rGOAs) were prepared from industrial grade graphene oxide using a simple hydrothermal method. The influences of the hydrothermal preparation temperature on the textural properties, hydrophobicity and physisorption behavior of the rGOAs were investigated using a range of physical and spectroscopic techniques. The results showed that the rGOAs had a macro-porous three-dimensional network structure. Raising the hydrothermal treatment temperature reduced the number of oxygen-containing groups, whereas the specific surface area (SBET), micropore volume (Vmicro) and water contact angle values of the rGOAs all increased. The dynamic adsorption properties of the rGOAs towards hexamethyldisiloxane (L2) increased with increasing hydrothermal treatment temperature and the breakthrough adsorption capacity showed a significant linear association with SBET, Vmicro and contact angle. There was a significant negative association between the breakthrough time and inlet concentration of L2, and the relationship could be reliably predicted with a simple empirical formula. L2 adsorption also increased with decreasing bed temperature. Saturated rGOAs were readily regenerated by a brief heat-treatment at 100 °C. This study has demonstrated the potential of novel rGOA for applications using adsorbents to remove siloxanes from biogas.  相似文献

A spectrum sharing system with primary and secondary nodes, each equipped with an arbitrary number of antennas, is investigated. Particularly, the outage performance of an underlay cognitive system is analytically studied, in the case when the end-to-end (e2e) communication is established via an intermediate relay node. To better enhance the e2e communication, successive interference cancellation (SIC) is adopted, which compensates for both the transmission power constraint and the presence of interference from primary nodes. Both the relay and secondary receiver perform unordered SIC to successively decode the multiple streams, whereas the decode-and-forward relaying protocol is used for the e2e communication. New closed-form expressions for the e2e outage performance of each transmitted stream are derived in terms of finite sum series of the Tricomi confluent hypergeometric function. In addition, simplified yet tight approximations for the asymptotic outage performance are obtained. Useful engineering insights are manifested, such as the diversity order of the considered system and the impact of interference from the primary nodes in conjunction with the constrained transmission power of the secondary nodes.  相似文献
