A theoretical study of stress-impedance effect based on the solution of Landau–Lifsitz–Gilbert equation has been carried out. Chemical synthesis of the trisaccharide of the steroid glycoside Sokodoside B isolated from Erylus placenta is reported. Stereoselective, high-yielding glycosylation strategies through thioglycoside activation using H2SO4 immobilized on silica in conjunction with N-iodosuccinimide are used for better results. A late stage TEMPO-mediated oxidation was performed for the formation of required uronic acid moiety. Perturbation theory based model can be used to locate the quasi-degeneracy in an arbitrary double well potential. This method, extensively explain the effect of the coupling term on pair of states called quasi-degenerate. This model helps us to calculate the energy of the pair of quasi-degenerate states using appreciably small basis. Dispersion equation corresponding to the split energy levels are presented in a very explicit form. Numerical calculation shows that the proposed method can give extremely accurate results for symmetric double-well potentials. 相似文献

A simple theoretical analysis is presented for Mössbauer parameters and frequency moments of dilute57Fe impurities in different metallic hosts. These parameters have been evaluated for a general harmonic solid using Green's function method. Our results suggest that the contribution due to force constant change term is significant for the mean square displacement whereas that due to mass disordering term is predominating in the evaluations of mean square velocity. The variation of frequency moments for the impurity with host Debye-temperatures modified by the host to impurity mass ratios are shown for a number of solids. 相似文献

Properties of water in the hydration layer around a protein is intimately correlated with its function. A knowledge of the
thickness of the hydration layer is important to understand its role in guiding the folding-unfolding of the protein. We have
performed atomistic molecular dynamics simulations of the folded native and a partially unfolded molten globule structure
of the villin headpiece subdomain or HP-36 in aqueous solution to estimate the effect of unfolding on the thickness of hydration
layer around different segments of the protein. In particular, several dynamic properties of water around different segments
of the folded native and the unfolded structure have been calculated by varying the thickness of the hydration layers. It
is found that unfolding of a segment of the protein is correlated with the dynamics of water around it, i.e., within the first hydration layer. The effect of unfolding on water properties has been found to diminish when water molecules
present beyond the first hydration layer were included in the calculations.

We investigate the excitation behavior of a repulsive impurity doped quantum dot under the influence of randomly fluctuating dopant potential. We have considered Gaussian impurity centers doped at different locations. The investigation reveals the interplay between dopant location and dopant’s spatial stretch in modulating the excitation pattern. Maximization in the excitation rate has been observed as a function of fluctuating dopant strength owing to the conflict between opposing influences that promote and hinder excitation. 相似文献

A finite element analysis for free vibration behaviour of doubly curved stiffened shallow shells is presented. The stiffened shell element is obtained by the appropriate combinations of the eight-/nine-node doubly curved isoparametric thin shallow shell element with the three-node curved isoparametric beam element. The shell types examined are the elliptic and hyperbolic paraboloids, the hypar and the conoidal shells. The accuracy of the formulation is established by comparing some of the authors' results of specific problems with those available in the literature. Numerical results of additional stiffened shells are also presented to study the effects of various parameters of shells and stiffeners such as orientation (i.e., along x -/y -/both x and y directions), type (concentric, eccentric at top and eccentric at bottom) and number of stiffeners, stiffener depth to shell thickness ratio, and aspect ratio, shallowness and boundary conditions of shells on free vibration characteristics. 相似文献

The theory is developed for piezoelectric scattering rate of carriers in a degenerate surface layer under the condition of low temperature when the approximations of the well-known traditional theory are not valid. The scattering rates thus obtained are then used to estimate the zero-field mobility characteristics for the surface layers under similar condition of low temperature. The results for the surface layers in GaAs and ZnO show that when one takes into account either the degeneracy of the carrier ensemble or the finite energy of the phonons or both, the energy dependence of the scattering rates changes significantly from what follows for a non-degenerate ensemble or from the traditional theory, where one makes use of the high-temperature approximation and thus assumes equipartition law for the phonon distribution, and neglects the phonon energy in the energy balance equation of the electron–phonon system. It is observed that the zero-field mobility characteristics that follow from these scattering rates are interesting in that they are quite different from what turns out either for a non-degenerate ensemble or in the high-temperature approximations. 相似文献

Semiconductor optical amplifier, (SOA) with its several nonlinear properties, plays a very crucial role in the development of high-speed all-optical processor. Multiplexer and demultiplexer are the extremely important element of the processor which takes part in utilizing different actions like encoding, decoding, routing, and the different process of data conversion and generation, etc. In this paper, the authors have proposed a scheme of phase encoded all-optical phase multiplexer using four wave mixing (FWM) property of semiconductor optical amplifier. Thus, the improved tolerance against fiber-nonlinearity and higher receiver sensitivity of phase encoding method with the fast occurring processes like FWM in SOA offers higher speed in this proposed scheme of multiplexing. 相似文献
