Graphenes have for a long time been shown to exhibit enhanced electrochemical sensing and fast heterogeneous electron transfers, but the nature of such improved electrochemistry is disputed due to its inherent porosity. Adsorption and thin layer effects may additionally contribute to the observed behaviour. Furthermore, overall extents of the impact from these factors are typically unclear. Towards a practical solution to this issue, we show that electrode porosity can be adequately controlled close to the case of an ideal planar electrode. With increased mass loadings, the apparent porosity can still be precisely controlled by performing multiple drop-casts from less concentrated dispersions. Thus with application of such experimental practices, the drop-casting technique remains a reliable option for nanomaterial electrode preparation.  相似文献

Thin films of, N-N′diphenyl 1-4phenylene-diamineane are prepared using vacuum sublimation technique. The electrical conductivity from room temperature down to 127 K is studied. It is found that the conduction of charge carriers obeys T−1/2 dependence on temperature. The average hopping distance, hopping energy, density of states and their variation due to post-deposition heat treatment are studied. Schottky diodes are fabricated with gold as ohmic contact and aluminium as Schottky contact. From the observed current voltage characteristics the saturation current density, diode ideality factor and the barrier height are determined. Their variation with air annealing is also investigated.  相似文献

Single crystals of sarcosinium oxalate monohydrate (SOM) are grown by the slow-evaporation technique at ambient temperature, and vibrational spectroscopic analysis is carried out using NIR-FT Raman, FT-IR, and SERS spectra. The normal mode frequencies and corresponding vibrational analysis of SOM are examined theoretically using the Gaussian’98 set of quantum chemical codes. The two bands present in the SOM ν C=O region, clearly observed in the Raman spectrum, are assigned to “free” and “bonded” carbonyl groups with the hydrogen atom. Vibrational analysis indicates the presence of C-H—O hydrogen bonding interaction producing a blueshift of the C-H stretching frequency.  相似文献

Here we comment on the thermodynamic inconsistency problem and the reformulation of statistical mechanics of widely studied quasiparticle models of quark–gluon plasma. Their starting relation, the expression for pressure itself is a wrong choice and lead to thermodynamic inconsistency and the requirements of the reformulation of statistical mechanics. We propose a new approach to the problem using the standard statistical mechanics and is thermodynamically consistent. We also show that the other quasiparticle models may be obtained from our general formalism as a special case under certain restrictive condition. Further, as an example, we have applied our model to explain the nonideal behaviour of gluon plasma and obtained a remarkable good fit to the lattice results by adjusting just a single parameter.  相似文献

A series of optically active main chain polyesters were synthesized by high temperature polycondensation from biphenolic azo chromophores with azobenzene-4,4'-dicarbonylchloride and 1,4:3,6-dianhydro-D-sorbitol ([!]D25=+42.5°). The second harmonic generation of the polyesters is studied in thin films. The polar order in films is determined from the UV-visible absorption spectra. The variation in SHG intensity with chiral monomer concentration is explained as a function of polar order. The polymers with chiral units showed good second harmonic efficiency. The intensity of second harmonic light (532 nm) increased with angle of incidence and indicated the polar order in the plane of the film. The SH signal also showed good temporal stability.  相似文献

A study of aggregation of sulphur particles in colloidal suspension of sulphur in water-methanol mixture using TEM and electron diffraction is reported. From the micrographs the aggregates formed have been found to be random and tenuous indicating a fractal structure. The electron diffraction patterns of the aggregates are used to study the mechanism of diffusion and reaction limited aggregation.  相似文献

To detect low energy scattered X-ray dose below 9.5 keV simply, we have designed a low energy X-ray detector that uses multiple electrically charged conductive spheres floated by static electricity repulsion force. This detector detects the dose with the following steps (principles): (1) positive and negative ions are generated by ionization function of low energy X-rays projected in the detector; (2) those ions neutralize the electrically charged conductive spheres floated; (3) accordingly, the spheres fall; and (4) the detector detects low energy X-ray dose from the number of the conductive spheres fallen.
