We examine the Galilean invariance of standard lattice Boltzmann methods for two-phase fluids. We show that the known Galilean invariant term that is cubic in the velocities, and is usually neglected, is a major source of Galilean invariance violations. We show that incorporating a correction term can improve the Galilean invariance of the method by up to two orders of magnitude for large velocities. We found that this is true in particular for methods in which the interactions are incorporated through a forcing term. Methods in which interactions are incorporated through a non-ideal pressure tensor only benefit for large velocities. 相似文献

The chaotic dynamics of a Josephson junction with a ratchet potential and current-modulating damping are studied. Under the first-order approximation, we construct the general solution of the first-order equation whose boundedness condition contains the famous Melnikov chaotic criterion. Based on the general solution, the incomputability and unpredictability of the system’s chaotic behavior are discussed. For the case beyond perturbation conditions, the evolution of stroboscopic Poincaré sections shows that the system undergoes a quasi-periodic transition to chaos with an increasing intensity of the rf-current. Through a suitable feedback controlling strategy, the chaos can be effectively suppressed and the intensity of the controller can vary in a large range. It is also found that the current between the two separated superconductors increases monotonously in some specific parameter spaces. 相似文献

Absolute values of the second-order nonlinear susceptibility of modulation doped (100) Ga0.8Al0.2As are measured through a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser with self-calibrated power emanating in p-polarization. The angular variation of the reflecting second-harmonic wave agrees satisfactorily with the Bloembergen and Pershan theory. The nonlinear susceptibility of Ga0.8Al0.2As grown by MBE method is 20% larger than that of GaAs. A quasi-photon counting technique exploited in this experiment provides the possibility to detect the second harmonic reflecting coefficients as low as 10-21cm2/watt. 相似文献

A novel quantum MIMO communication scheme is proposed by generalizing the wireless communication technique to the quantum
field. The MIMO quantum teleportation can be implemented with triplet states in order to enhance the capacity and fidelity
of the quantum channel, in which an n-qubit sequence of quantum signals can be transmitted through the MIMO quantum channel by applying the diversity technique.
The quantum noise filtering is involved before the quantum signals are outputted. The analysis and discussions demonstrate
