In this paper, a quantum secure direct communication protocol using ensembles with the same density matrix is proposed. Herein we present results on the femtosecond laser direct writing and optical characterization studies of two dimensional gratings in fused silica, GE 124, and Foturan™ glasses. Varieties of structures were achieved with varying input energy and spatial orientation of the samples. Various characterization techniques including fluorescence spectroscopy, micro-Raman spectroscopy, and laser confocal microscopy were employed to analyze the structural and physical modifications at the focal volume resulting in change of refractive index. Diffraction efficiencies of 9–12% were observed from the grating structures. A broad-band emission was observed in the laser-modified region of the Foturan glass. The obtained results are analyzed in the light of recent work in similar glasses and exploring the applications of such structures in the fields of photonics. 相似文献

While the mean and unconditional variance are to be predicted well by any reasonable turbulent combustion model, these are generally not sufficient for the accurate modelling of complex phenomena such as extinction/reignition. An additional criterion has been recently introduced: accurate modelling of the dissipation timescales associated with fluctuations of scalars about their conditional mean (conditional dissipation timescales). Analysis of Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) results for a passive scalar shows that the conditional dissipation timescale is of the order of the integral timescale and smaller than the unconditional dissipation timescale. A model is proposed: the conditional dissipation timescale is proportional to the integral timescale. This model is used in Multiple Mapping Conditioning (MMC) modelling for a passive scalar case and a reactive scalar case, comparing to DNS results for both. The results show that this model improves the accuracy of MMC predictions so as to match the DNS results more closely using a relatively-coarse spatial resolution compared to other turbulent combustion models. 相似文献

Up-conversion luminescence have been studied on Yb3+-Er3+ co-doped fluoride samples. Two infrared lasers with wavelength of 930 nm and 858 nm are carefully chosen as excitation sources. The experimental results suggest direct cooperation sensitization up-conversion rather than two-step sensitization up-conversion is responsible for the increased population of 2H11/2 (Er3+) and thus the increased green emission in the region 514~574 nm in Yb3+-Er3+ co-doped system. 相似文献

In spectral-like resolution-WENO hybrid schemes,if the switch function takes more grid points as discontinuity points,the WENO scheme is often turned on,and the numerical solutions may be too dissipative.Conversely,if the switch function takes less grid points as discontinuity points,the hybrid schemes usually are found to produce oscillatory solutions or just to be unstable.Even if the switch function takes less grid points as discontinuity points,the final hybrid scheme is inclined to be more stable,provided the spectral-like resolution scheme in the hybrid scheme has moderate shock-capturing capability.Following this idea,we propose nonlinear spectral-like schemes named weighted group velocity control(WGVC)schemes.These schemes show not only high-resolution for short waves but also moderate shock capturing capability.Then a new class of hybrid schemes is designed in which the WGVC scheme is used in smooth regions and the WENO scheme is used to capture discontinuities.These hybrid schemes show good resolution for small-scales structures and fine shock-capturing capabilities while the switch function takes less grid points as discontinuity points.The seven-order WGVC-WENO scheme has also been applied successfully to the direct numerical simulation of oblique shock wave-turbulent boundary layer interaction. 相似文献

The inflow conditions for spatial direct numerical simulation (SDNS) of turbulent boundary layers should reflect the characteristics
of upstream turbulence, which is a puzzle. In this paper a new method is suggested, in which the flow field obtained by using
temporal direct numerical simulation (TDNS) for fully developed turbulent flow (only flow field for a single moment is sufficient)
can be used as the inflow of SDNS with a proper transformation. The calculation results confirm that this method is feasible
and effective. It is also found that, under a proper time-space transformation, all statistics of the fully developed turbulence
obtained by both temporal mode and spatial mode DNS are in excellent agreement with each other, not only qualitatively, but
also quantitatively. The normal-wise distributions of mean flow profile, turbulent Mach number and the root mean square (RMS)
of the fluctuations of various variables, as well as the Reynolds stresses of the fully developed turbulence obtained by using
SDNS, bear similarity in nature.

Taylor-Couette flow subject to a Coriolis force is studied experimentally and numerically. In the experiment, the Couette apparatus is mounted on a turntable with the axis of the cylinders orthogonal to the rotation vector of the turntable. The Coriolis force stabilizes the fluid against the onset of Taylor vortices and alters the velocity fields, both above and below the transition from the initial flow. At small dimensionless turntable frequencies, the transition yields time-independent Taylor vortices which are tilted with respect to the cylinder axis. At larger there is a direct transition to turbulence. We determine the first-order correction to the classical Couette initial flow, to account for the effects of the Coriolis force, by expanding in powers of. We present numerical results for the axial velocity (the only nonvanishing correction term to order) in the infinite-cylinder approximation. 相似文献
