Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is an intensively studied anode material for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) owing to its high theoretical capacity, but it is still confronted by severe challenges of unsatisfactory rate capability and cycle life. Herein, few-layer MoS2 nanosheets, vertically grown on hierarchical carbon nanocages (hCNC) by a facile hydrothermal method, introduce pseudocapacitive lithium storage owing to the highly exposed MoS2 basal planes, enhanced conductivity, and facilitated electrolyte access arising from good hybridization with hCNC. Thus, the optimized MoS2/hCNC exhibits reversible capacities of 1670 mAh g−1 at 0.1 A g−1 after 50 cycles, 621 mAh g−1 at 5.0 A g−1 after 500 cycles, and 196 mAh g−1 at 50 A g−1 after 2500 cycles, which are among the best for MoS2-based anode materials. The specific power and specific energy, which can reach 16.1 kW and 252.8 Wh after 3000 cycles, respectively, indicate great potential in high-power and long-life LIBs. Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is one of the most life-threatening and potentially fatal complications associated with controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) during in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. Although the pathogenesis of OHSS remains unclear, elevated serum estradiol (E2) levels before human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) administration are associated with the risk of OHSS. The pineal hormone melatonin and its receptors are expressed in human granulosa cells and have been shown to stimulate E2 production. However, the effect of melatonin on the expression of aromatase, an enzyme responsible for a key step in the biosynthesis of E2, in human granulosa cells remains to be determined. Here, we demonstrate that melatonin upregulates aromatase expression in primary cultured human granulosa-lutein (hGL) cells through the melatonin receptor-mediated PKA-CREB pathway. Using a mouse model of OHSS, we demonstrate that administration of the melatonin receptor inhibitor luzindole inhibits the development of OHSS. In addition, the expression of ovarian aromatase and serum E2 levels are upregulated in OHSS mice compared to control mice, but this upregulation is attenuated by inhibition of the function of melatonin. Moreover, clinical results reveal that aromatase expression levels are upregulated in hGL cells from OHSS patients. Melatonin and E2 levels in the follicular fluid are significantly higher in OHSS patients than in non-OHSS patients. Furthermore, melatonin levels are positively correlated with E2 levels in follicular fluid. AbstractThis work presents on improvement in gravimetric measurement for determining the porosity and thickness of microporous silicon. Herein, the corrosion of fresh macroporous silicon (f-MPSi) in 1.0?M NaOH with different concentrations of polyethylene glycol (PEG 200/400/600) was studied by weight loss measurement and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results showed that the corrosion rate decreased with increasing polyethylene glycol concentration, and increased with an increase in temperature. Polyethylene glycol can inhibit the corrosion of f-MPSi in NaOH solution. Moreover, 1.0?M NaOH/PEG 600 (10%) can be used as the optimized solution to remove f-MPSi for measuring its porosity and thickness by gravimetric measurement. 相似文献

Using cheap n‐butylamine as template, ZSM‐5 zeolites have been successfully synthesized and coated on monolithic interconnected macroporous Al2O3 by the secondary growth method. The use of cheap n‐butylamine could significantly reduce the synthesis cost. Hierarchical monolithic ZSM‐5 zeolites were prepared from synthetic mixtures with different H2O/Na2O or SiO2/Al2O3 ratio. The synthesized samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR) and N2 adsorption‐desorption. The results show that the hierarchical monolithic zeolites were obtained with cheap n‐butylamine template as template. During the hydrothermal reaction process, the morphology of the micrometer‐sized support was well maintained. The irregular crystals were formed in a wide range of the H2O/Na2O or SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of synthetic mixtures and coated on monolithic Al2O3. The relative crystallinity of the zeolites was highest at H2O/Na2O=250 or SiO2/Al2O3=160. SiO2-supported Ni-Mo bimetallic phosphides were prepared by temperature-programmed reduction(TPR) method from the phosphate precursors calcined at different temperatures. Their properties were characterized by means of ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(UV-Vis DRS), H2temperature-programmed reduction(H2-TPR), X-ray diffraction(XRD), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), CO chemisorption, H2 and NH3temperature-programmed desorptions(H2-TPD and NH3-TPD). Their catalytic performances for the deoxygenation of methyl laurate were tested in a fixed-bed reactor. When the precursors were calcined at 400 and 500?C, respectively, Ni Mo P2 phase could be formed apart from Ni2 P and Mo P phases in the prepared C400 and C500 catalysts. However, when the precursors were calcined at600, 700 and 800°C, respectively, only Ni2 P and Mo P phases could be detected in the prepared C600, C700 and C800 catalysts. Also, in C400, C500 and C600 catalysts, Mo atoms were found to be entered in the lattice of Ni2 P phase, but the entering extent became less with the increase of calcination temperature. As the calcination temperature of the precursor increased, the interaction between Ni and Mo in the prepared catalysts decreased, and the phosphide crystallite size tended to increase, subsequently leading to the decrease in the surface metal site density and the acid amount. C600 catalyst showed the highest activity among the tested ones for the deoxygenation of methyl laurate. As the calcination temperature of the precursor increased, the selectivity to C12 hydrocarbons decreased while the selectivity to C11 hydrocarbons tended to increase. This can be mainly attributed to the decreased Ni-Mo interaction and the increased phosphide particle size.
