灌区淋洗水量优化计算

在灌区水资源优化调度的基础上,考虑了土壤临界含盐量、土壤和地下水水盐动态等因素,提出了灌区淋洗水量优化计算方法,并给出了算例。     

不同传热规律下的热漏损失对制冷机R—ε特性的影响

本文基于存在热阻和热漏损失的定态流不可逆卡诺制冷机模型,导出了热阻损失服从牛顿定律和热漏损失服从一般传热规律时制冷系数与制冷率间的优化关系,研究了不同传热规律下的热漏损失对制冷机优化性能影响的特点。     

应用重心原理改进单纯形法的搜索方向

对多元无约束最优化单纯形法提出新的改进,反射点、延伸点及收缩点在沿通过“重心”的线上被寻找。给出了新方法的具体计算步骤。算例结果表明,该方法优于中心法。     

Enantioselective synthesis of hydroxy-substituted α-methyl-α-amino acids using Al and Mn derivatives of cyclo-(L-Ala-L-AIa) bis-Iactim ethers

Aluminum and manganese derivatives of lithiated bis-lactim ethers of cyclo-(L-Ala-L-Ala) were used for the enantioselective synthesis of -hydroxy and polyhydroxy -amino acids of the 2-methyIserine series. A new variant of the synthesis of these acids via 3-acyl-2, 5-dialkoxy-3, 6-dimethyl-3, 6-dihydropyrazines is proposed.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. Primal-dual interior point approach for computingl 1-solutions andl ∞-solutions of overdetermined linear systems

This paper concerns solving an overdetermined linear systemA ^T x=b in the leastl ₁-norm orl -norm sense, whereA ^m×n ,m<n. We show that the primal-dual interior point approach for linear programming can be applied, in an effective manner, to linear programming versions of thel ₁ andl -problems. The resulting algorithms are simple to implement and can attain quadratic or superlinear convergence rate. At each iteration, the algorithms must solve a linear system with anm×m positive-definite coefficient matrix of the formADA ^T , whereD is a positive diagonal matrix. The preliminary numerical results indicate that the proposed algorithms offer considerable promise.This research was supported in part by Grants NSF DMS-91-02761 and DOE DE-FG05-91-ER25100.     

A note on smoothed estimating functions

The kernel estimate of regression function in likelihood based models has been studied in Staniswalis (1989,J. Amer. Statist. Assoc.,84, 276–283). The notion of optimal estimation for the nonparametric kernel estimation of semimartingale intensity (t) is proposed. The goal is to arrive at a nonparametric estimate of ₀=(t ₀) for a fixed pointt ₀ [0, 1]. We consider the estimator that is a solution of the smoothed optimal estimating equation is the optimal estimating function as in Thavaneswaran and Thompson (1986,J. Appl. Probab.,23, 409–417).     

O(N) vector model with twisted boundary conditions

Prompted by a recent article of Chakravarty, we reexamine theO(N) vector model with twisted boundary conditions ind dimensions in the various frameworks of the =d–2 expansion, the =4–d expansion, and the large-N expansion. These continuum models describe the physics below the critical temperatureT _c and nearT _c of a latticeO(N) spin model. Salt effects in the mercuration of unsaturated compounds. Kinetic evidence for the formation of ion pairs and a solvated ion

The kinetics of mercuration of bornylene and cyclohexene in different solvents in the presence of NaOAc and LiClO₄ has been investigated. Addition of NaOAc sharply decreases the rate of addition reactions of mercuric acetate to bornylene and cyclohexene in alcohols; the main direction of the mercuration of bornylene is the formation of acetoxy-adducts, and the yield of solvo-adducts decreases from 76 % in the absence of NaOAc, to 19 % in the presence of the salt (4·10^–3 mol L^–1). A reaction scheme involving the participation of intermediate ion pairs and a solvated mercurinium ion is suggested and confirmed by a steady-state concentration method. The influence of NaOAc on the rate of the reaction and on product formation is realized through the common ion effect.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. 本文讨论了反相离子对液相色谱法分离和检测稀土-4-(2-吡啶偶氮)间苯二酚螯合物的各种条件,在12 min内完成了9种稀土螫合物的分离,校正曲线的线性范围是(ppm):La(0.01～3.20),Ce(0.03～2.8),Pr(0.06～3.5),Nd(0.05～3.8),Sm(0.01～3.0),Eu(0.05～3.4),Tb(0.02～3.0),Ho(0.01～3.4),Er(0.06～4.0).变异系数小于1.2％.     

Spin density distributions in radical anions of heterocyclic amine N-oxides

The unrestricted Hartree-Fock (UHF) method of Snyder and Amos is used to calculate, in the -electron approximation, the spin density distributions in radical anions of heterocyclic amine N-oxides. The computed spin densities are observed to be in good agreement with the experimental values. The computed spin density distribution of the radical anion of pyridine N-oxide is consistent with the greater susceptibility of pyridine N-oxide relative to pyridine to electrophilic nitration. Also, the calculations are consistent with the lower basicity of the N-oxides relative to the parent bases.
