Rolling of a Rigid Cylinder over a Half-Plane with Initial Stresses (Harmonic and Bartenev–Khazanovich Potentials)

An asymmetric quasistationary problem for a prestressed half-plane with harmonic and Bartenev–Khazanovich potentials is solved based of the linearized theory of elasticity. The Mehler–Fock integral transform is used to solve the differential equations that describe the stress–strain state of the half-plane. The dependences of the normal and tangential stresses and stress intensity factors on the elongation are plotted     

ChemInform Abstract: Evaluation of Tavorite‐Structured Cathode Materials for Lithium‐Ion Batteries Using High‐Throughput Computing.

Tavorite‐structured oxyphosphates, fluorophosphates, oxysulfates, and fluorosulfates are evaluated for use as cathode materials in lithium ion batteries and activation energies for lithium diffusion through LiVO(PO₄), LiV(PO₄)F, and LiFe(SO₄)F are calculated.     

Calculations of D‐wave bound states and resonance states of the screened helium atom using correlated exponential wave functions

We have investigated the effects of screened Coulomb (Yukawa) potentials on the bound ^1,3D states and the doubly excited ^1,3 D^e resonance states of helium atom using highly correlated exponential basis functions. The Density of resonance states are calculated using stabilization method. Highly correlated exponential basis functions are used to consider the correlation effect between the charged particles. A total of 18 resonances (nine each for ¹ D^e and ³ D^e states) below the n = 2 He ⁺ threshold has been calculated. For each spin states, this includes four members in the 2pnp series, three members in the 2snd series, and two members in 2pnf series. The resonance energies and widths for various screening parameters ranging from infinity to a small value for these ^1,3 D^e resonance states are reported along with the bound‐excited 1s3d ^1,3 D state energies. Overall behavior of the spectral profile of 1s3d ¹D state of helium atom due to electron‐electron and electron‐nucleus screening are also presented. Atomistic simulation of site preference, Curie temperature, and lattice vibration of Nd2Co7 - xFex

The effects of Fe substitution for Co on the structural stability and the site preference of intermetallics Nd 2 Co 7-x Fe x with a hexagonal Ce 2 Ni 7-type structure are studied by using a series of interatomic pair potentials.In Nd 2 Co 7-x Fe x,Fe atoms are substituted for Co atoms with a strong preference for the 6h sites and the order of site preference is 6h,4e,4f,2a,and 12k.Calculated lattice parameters are found to be consistent with the reported results in the literature.The variation behaviour of the Curie temperature of Nd 2 Co 7-x Fe x is explained qualitatively by the exchange interaction model.The properties related to lattice vibration,such as phonon density of states and Debye temperature,are first evaluated for the Nd 2 Co 7-x Fe x compounds.     

Effects of a novel ultrasound contrast agent with long persistence on right ventricular pressure: Comparison with SonoVue

This work investigated the effect of infusion of a self-made ultrasound contrast agent with long persistence (named ZHIFUXIAN) on rat right ventricular pressure and made a preliminary evaluation on the relative safety of the novel microbubbles. Normal saline, SonoVue and ZHIFUXIAN were injected through caudal vein at the total volume of 0.5 ml for each injection. The right ventricular systolic pressure (RVSP) and end-diastolic pressure (RVEDP) were monitored and the changes of the pressure were compared with baseline readings. RVSP increased when saline, SonoVue or ZHIFUXIAN were injected, the greatest change being after SonoVue (about 2 mm Hg), but there was no statistical significance compared with baseline (P > 0.05). There was no significant difference in RVSP between saline, SonoVue and ZHIFUXIAN at any time point. Also, there was no significant difference in RVEDP between groups at each time point and between different time points in each group. The results indicate that the self-made microbubbles effect on right ventricular hemodynamics is equivalent to that of normal saline at the same volume needed for effective enhanced imaging, demonstrating that it does not produce changes in right ventricular blood pressure under the study conditions. Pathological examination also showed it had no obvious influence on lung, liver and kidney.     

Thermodynamic potentials and thermodynamic relations in nonextensive thermodynamics

The generalized Gibbs free energy and enthalpy are derived in the framework of nonextensive thermodynamics by using the concept of the physical temperature and the physical pressure. Some relations of the thermodynamical potentials are changed due to the difference between the physical temperature and the inverse of Lagrange multiplier. We derive the thermodynamical relation between the heat capacities at a constant volume and at a constant pressure using the generalized thermodynamical potential. We find that it has a different form from the traditional one in Gibbs thermodynamics. But, the expressions of the heat capacities in this framework using the generalized thermodynamical potentials are still the same as the traditional one.

The Vlasov-Poisson-Boltzmann system for non-cutof hard potentials

This paper is concerned with the construction of globally smooth solutions near a given global Maxwellian to the Cauchy problem of the Vlasov-Poisson-Boltzmann system for non-cutof hard potentials in three space dimensions without the neutral condition imposed on the initial perturbation.Our analysis is based on the time-weighted energy method and some delicate estimates.     

利用双谱分析法检测心室纤颤信号

提出了一种基于信号双谱分析的心室纤颤检测方法．首先，根据信号的准周期性，对信号进行了分段，并改进了信号三阶累积量的估计．然后，以特征值Ｐ表征信号，给出了心室纤颤信号的双谱检测算法，并结合其他算法，采取多特征值检测法进一步优化算法的性能．最后，在不同的噪声条件下，对不同的算法进行了比较，给出了微机实验的结果．实验表明：本文提出的心室纤颤检测算法达到了较优的灵敏度及误判率，并具有较强的抗噪声性能     

Singular Continuous Spectrum for a Class of Substitution Hamiltonians II

We consider discrete one-dimensional Schrödinger operators with aperiodic potentials generated by primitive substitutions. Using the three-block version of Gordon's criterion, we establish purely singular continuous spectrum with probability one provided that the potentials have index greater than three. It is also shown that one cannot use this criterion to prove uniform results.
