On the variety of triangles for a hyper-Kähler fourfold constructed by Debarre and Voisin

We study the similarities between the Fano varieties of lines on a cubic fourfold, a hyper-Kähler fourfold studied by Beauville and Donagi, and the hyper-Kähler fourfold constructed by Debarre and Voisin in [3]. We exhibit an analog of the notion of “triangle” for these varieties and prove that the 6-dimensional variety of “triangles” is a Lagrangian subvariety in the cube of the constructed hyper-Kähler fourfold.     

Linear codes associated to skew-symmetric determinantal varieties

In this article we consider linear codes coming from skew-symmetric determinantal varieties, which are defined by the vanishing of minors of a certain fixed size in the space of skew-symmetric matrices. In odd characteristic, the minimum distances of these codes are determined and a recursive formula for the weight of a general codeword in these codes is given.     

Carlsson's rank conjecture and a conjecture on square-zero upper triangular matrices

Let k be an algebraically closed field and A the polynomial algebra in r variables with coefficients in k. In case the characteristic of k is 2, Carlsson [9] conjectured that for any DG-A-module M of dimension N as a free A-module, if the homology of M is nontrivial and finite dimensional as a k-vector space, then $2^r\le N$. Here we state a stronger conjecture about varieties of square-zero upper triangular $N\times N$ matrices with entries in A. Using stratifications of these varieties via Borel orbits, we show that the stronger conjecture holds when $N<8$ or $r<3$ without any restriction on the characteristic of k. As a consequence, we obtain a new proof for many of the known cases of Carlsson's conjecture and give new results when $N>4$ and $r=2$.

In this paper, we determine the structures of the transfer ideal and its radical ideal for the ring of polynomials F p[x, y] under the action of dihedral group D2 p in the modular case. We mainly use Transfer variety, p order elements, and Hilbert’s Nullstellensatz Theorem.     

Factoriality for the reductive Zassenhaus variety and quantum enveloping algebra

Let U(g)$U(\mathfrak{g})$ be the enveloping algebra of a finite dimensional reductive Lie algebra g$\mathfrak{g}$ over an algebraically closed field of prime characteristic. Let _U?,P(s:)$U_{?,P}(\mathfrak{s}:)$ be the simply connected quantum enveloping algebra at the root of unity ?  , of a complex semi-simple finite dimensional Lie algebra s:$\mathfrak{s}:$. We show, by similar proofs, that the centers of both are factorial. While the first result was established by R. Tange [32] (by different methods), the second one confirms a conjecture in [4]. We also provide a general criterion for the factoriality of the centers of enveloping algebras in prime characteristic.

黑龙港麦区小麦品种设计及沧麦026选育

沧麦026新品种以临汾605为母本,CA837为父本有性杂交,经水旱两圃平行交替选择法培育而成.表现性状稳定,抗逆性强,适应性广,节水、丰产特点突出.在1999～2001年冀中北水地组区试及大区生产试验中.平均产量5 790 kg/hm2,比对照京冬8号增产6.1%,居参试品种第一位.大区生产试验平均产量6 135 kg/hm2.经省品审会审定通过,适宜河北省黑龙港麦区中高肥力水平麦田种植.     

The effect of variety seeking behaviour on optimal product positioning

In this paper we develop a stochastic (first order Markovian) consumer choice model that represents variety seeking behaviour and we investigate the practical implications of this model for optimal product positioning relative to a zero order model that does not incorporate variety seeking. We show that the optimal positioning implications of a variety seeking process is indeed different than those of a (no-variety-seeking) zero order process. Based on intuition, one might expect increased variety seeking to imply that firms should increase the distance between their products in an attribute space. In fact, we show that this effect does occur for relatively low share brands. But just the opposite effect holds for relatively high share brands. That is, variety seeking behaviour generates a desire to more differentiation among low share brands, and a desire for less differentiation among high share brands.     

籼稻93-11和粳稻日本晴DNA插入缺失差异片段揭示的水稻籼-粳分化

碱基的插入/缺失(InDel)引起DNA序列变化并形成了DNA片段长度多态,可以用作遗传标记.为了评价基于籼稻93-11和粳稻日本晴全基因组序列比对获得的差异片段而设计的InDel引物在鉴定籼稻和粳稻两种生态型以及研究稻属不同物种之间亲缘关系的意义,采用45对InDel引物,对来自亚洲10个国家的49份籼稻、43份粳稻品种和24份野生稻进行了检验.结果表明,其中41对InDel引物鉴定籼稻或粳稻品种的准确率高于80%.主成分分析散点图显示:籼稻与粳稻存在明显的遗传分化;含AA基因组的野生稻物种与籼稻品种存在较近的亲缘关系;非AA基因组的野生稻物种不存在明显的籼-粳分化.并且证明了基于籼稻93-11和粳稻日本晴全基因组序列比对获得的InDel差异片段设计的引物可以用于栽培稻籼稻和粳稻品种的鉴定以及籼-粳分化问题的研究,及探索稻属不同物种间的亲缘关系.
