A twin optically-pumped far-infrared CH3OH laser has been constructed for use in plasma diagnostics. The antisymmetric doublet due to the Raman-type resonant two-photon transition is reproducibly observed at 118.8 m. With the 118.8-m line, it is obtained from the frequency separation of the anti-symmetric doublet that CH3OH absorption line center is 16±1 MHz higher than the pump 9.7-m P(36) CO2 laser line center. It is shown that the Raman-type resonant two-photon transition is useful in order to get several-MHz phase modulation for the far-infrared laser interferometer. Some preliminary performances of this twin laser for the modulated interferometer are described.This work was carried out under the collaborating research program at the Institute of Plasma Physics, Nagoya University, Nagoya 464, Japan.  相似文献

Precise determination of d-spacings and compositional ratio of cellulose Iα and Iβ in various native cellulose samples was successfully carried out by synchrotron-radiated X-ray diffraction and time-of-flight (TOF) neutron diffraction from quasi-powder specimens. X-ray diffraction peaks were separated by the deconvolution method using six types of profile function: Gaussian, Lorentzian, intermediate Lorentzian, modified Lorentzian, pseudo-Voigt, and Pearson VII. In terms of R-factors, the pseudo-Voigt function gave the best fit with the observation, and was used for determination of d-spacings. The numerical results for Valonia cellulose were: dIα (1 0 0) = 0.613 nm; dIβ (1 1 0) = 0.603 nm; dIβ (1 1 0) = 0.535 nm; dIα (0 1 0) = 0.529 nm; Iα content = 0.65. The differences determined between dIα (1 0 0) and dIβ (1 1 0) and between dIβ (1 1 0) and dIα (0 1 0) were similar to those previously reported. Comparison between unresolved peaks for the two types of cellulose samples revealed a small but definite difference between dIα (1 1 0) and dIβ (2 0 0). The TOF neutron diffractometry using deuterated samples confirmed this difference. This revised version was published online in August 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

An algorithm for evaluation of two‐center, three‐electron integrals with the correlation factors of the type rr and rrr as well as four‐electron integrals with the correlation factors rrr and rrr in the Slater basis is presented. This problem has been solved here in elliptical coordinates, using the generalized and modified form of the Neumann expansion of the interelectronic distance function r for k ≥ ?1. The behavior of the electrochemical polymerization of aniline in a weak acid, phosphoric acid, is very similar to that in strong acids, i.e. its polymerization rate increases quickly with the electrolysis time. The FTIR spectra of polyaniline samples synthesized in phosphoric acid indicate that the counter ion H2PO4^- is present in both the oxidized form and the reduced form of polyaniline. The counter ion plays an important role in adjusting the pH value at the electrode surface of polyaniline during the oxidation and reduction processes. As a result, a pair of redox peaks still appear in cyclic voltammograms of polyaniline in a solution of sodium sulfate of pH 5.5 and in a solution of NaH2PO4 of pH 7.0,respectively, at low potential scan rate; and the color of polyaniline film also changes with applied potential at pH 7.0. Thus,the pH region for the electrochemical activity and the electrochromism of polyaniline is extended to pH 5.5 for a solution of sodium sulfate and to pH 7.0 for a solution of NaH2PO4. The conductivity of polyaniline is 3.3 S cm^-1, depending on the concentration of phosphoric acid used in the stage of polymerization of aniline. 癸基三乙基溴化铵-癸基磺酸钠(C10NE-C10SO3)等摩尔混合均相体系(即使在表面活性剂总浓度高达0.2 mol•L-1时仍然可形成稳定的均相溶液)在外加盐NaF、Na2SO4和Na3PO4的作用下可自发分离成两个水相(双水相).研究了该类双水相体系的形成、相行为及其对牛血清蛋白(BSA)的分配,并与普通的正负离子表面活性剂混合双水相体系进行了比较.结果表明,该类双水相体系克服了普通的正负离子表面活性剂混合双水相体系的一些不足,具有一些独特的优点.该类双水相体系的相行为可以通过外加盐进行调控,通过外加盐的种类来调控和优化BSA的分配行为.图1表2参8  相似文献

We have established an easy-to-use test system for detecting receptor-ligand interactions on the single molecule level using atomic force microscopy (AFM). For this, avidin-biotin, probably the best characterized receptor-ligand pair, was chosen. AFM sensors were prepared containing tethered biotin molecules at sufficiently low surface concentrations appropriate for single molecule studies. A biotin tether, consisting of a 6 nm poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) chain and a functional succinimide group at the other end, was newly synthesized and covalently coupled to amine-functionalized AFM tips. In particular, PEG800 diamine was glutarylated, the mono-adduct NH2-PEG-COOH was isolated by ion exchange chromatography and reacted with biotin succinimidylester to give biotin-PEG-COOH which was then activated as N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester to give the biotin-PEG-NHS conjugate which was coupled to the aminofunctionalized AFM tip. The motional freedom provided by PEG allows for free rotation of the biotin molecule on the AFM sensor and for specific binding to avidin which had been adsorbed to mica surfaces via electrostatic interactions. Specific avidin-biotin recognition events were discriminated from nonspecific tip-mica adhesion by their typical unbinding force (∼40 pN at 1.4 nN/s loading rate), unbinding length (<13 nm), the characteristic nonlinear force-distance relation of the PEG linker, and by specific block with excess of free d-biotin. The convenience of the test system allowed to evaluate, and compare, different methods and conditions of tip aminofunctionalization with respect to specific binding and nonspecific adhesion. It is concluded that this system is well suited as calibration or start-up kit for single molecule recognition force microscopy.  相似文献

Mechanisms for the initial stage of glyceraldehyde and glycine Maillard reaction under different pH conditions have been proposed, following usually the Hodge-scheme. Computations have been performed on the mechanisms at the standard state to test the possibility of the formation of different compounds, through evaluating the changes in Gibb's free energy during the reaction. Electronic energy changes during the reaction have also been evaluated. Glyceraldehyde+deprotonated glycine reaction has been found to be the most favorable for the formation of the Amadori rearrangement products in both gaseous and aqueous states. Due to the possibility of the production of both enol and keto forms of the Amadori rearrangement product, the rate of browning in glyceraldehyde+deprotonated glycine reaction is assumed to be faster than the others. Glyceraldehyde+unionized glycine reaction has been found to be more plausible for the formation of the keto form of the Amadori rearrangement products, particularly, in the gaseous phase. Glyceraldehyde+protonated glycine and glyceraldehyde+glycine zwitterion reactions are not favorable for the formation of the Amadori rearrangement products. Formation of hydroxyacetaldehyde from glyceralaldehyde, as one of the possible C2-fragmentation product, has been found to be favorable in the aqueous state.  相似文献

A recently proposed perturbational approach to the electron correlation cusp problem 1 is tested in the context of three spherically symmetrical two‐electron systems: helium atom, hydride anion, and a solvable model system. The interelectronic interaction is partitioned into long‐ and short‐range components. The long‐range interaction, lacking the singularities responsible for the electron correlation cusp, is included in the reference Hamiltonian. Accelerated convergence of orbital‐based methods for this smooth reference Hamiltonian is shown by a detailed partial wave analysis. Contracted orbital basis sets constructed from atomic natural orbitals are shown to be significantly better for the new Hamiltonian than standard basis sets of the same size. The short‐range component becomes the perturbation. The low‐order perturbation equations are solved variationally using basis sets of correlated Gaussian geminals. Variational energies and low‐order perturbation wave functions for the model system are shown to be in excellent agreement with highly accurate numerical solutions for that system. Approximations of the reference wave functions, described by fewer basis functions, are tested for use in the perturbation equations and shown to provide significant computational advantages with tolerable loss of accuracy. Lower bounds for the radius of convergence of the resulting perturbation expansions are estimated. The acid catalyzed sol-gel reaction in the mixed binder system, 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GPTS)/3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTS) was investigated and one step and two step synthesis process were compared. Hydrolysis product was observed using the 1H, 13C NMR and Raman spectra. Especially, based on the Raman spectra, epoxy ring opening was observed, varying the ratio of GPTS to APTS. The two step process made clear sol, while the one step process resulted in a milky suspension. According to the Raman spectra, the epoxy ring opening reaction kinetics proceeded slower in the two step process than one step process. Throughout the two step process, it was possible to apply the binder for the coating of substrate.  相似文献
