New X-Ray Techniques for Flow Visualization and Measurement of Hydrodynamic Flow Parameters in Opaque Heterogeneous Media

This paper proposes and validates a method for the quantitative analysis of multiphase flows and objects of complex composition with image registration on a charge-coupled-device array taking into account the X-ray spectral characteristics. The method was tested on objects of known composition and shape. Some properties of general linear supergroups and of Schur superalgebras

It is shown that the category of rational supermodules over a general linear supergroup is a highest weight category. More exactly, we construct superanalogs of the theory of modules with good filtration and of the dual theory of modules with Weyl’s. Pure homology of algebraic varieties

We show that for a complete complex algebraic variety the pure term of the weight filtration in homology coincides with the image of intersection homology. Therefore pure homology is topologically invariant. To obtain slightly more general results we introduce image homology for noncomplete varieties.     

Free-Boundary Problems for Nonlinear Models of Fluid Filtration in Inhomogeneous Porous Media

Existence theorems are proved for solutions of problems of nonlinear gravity fluid filtration in regions with specified boundaries of complex geometry. The theory developed can be used to design the underground flow net of a hydraulic structure with specified filtration characteristics.
