Peripheral Templation‐Modulated Interconversion between an A4L6 Tetrahedral Anion Cage and A2L3 Triple Helicate with Guest Capture/Release

An anion‐coordination‐based A₄L₆ (“A” denotes anion and “L” is ligand) tetrahedral cage was constructed by a C₂‐symmetric bis‐bis(urea) ligand and phosphate anion, which showed reversible interconversion with the A₂L₃ triple helicate as a response to the template, concentration, or solvent. Notably, an unusual “peripheral” templation was found to be critical to stabilize the tetrahedral structure. This peripheral effect was utilized to assemble an “empty” A₄L₆ cage that allows the multi‐stimuli‐controlled capture/release of biologically important species such as choline and acetylcholine.     

Chiral palladacycle promoted asymmetric synthesis of functionalized bis-phosphine monoxide ligand

An organopalladium complex containing orthometalated (R)-(1-(dimethylamino)ethyl)naphthalene as the chiral auxiliary has been used to promote the asymmetric hydroalkoxylation reactions between weak nucleophile methanol and 1,1-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethylene or 1,1-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethylene monoxide in good regio- and stereo-selectivities in the presence of an external base. The major addition product obtained from methanol and 1,1-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethylene monoxide was subsequently isolated in a quantitative yield in its configurationally pure form and characterized by means of two-dimensional rotating-frame nuclear Overhauser enhancement (ROESY) NMR spectroscopy as well as single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The enantiomerically pure bis-phosphine monoxide ligand was subsequently liberated in high yield.     

Multisegmented one-dimensional nanorods prepared by hard-template synthetic methods

In the science and engineering communities, the nanoscience revolution is intensifying. As many types of nanomaterials are becoming more reliably synthesized, they are being used for novel applications in all branches of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Since it is sometimes desirable for single nanomaterials to perform multiple functions simultaneously, multicomponent nanomaterials, such as core-shell, alloyed, and striped nanoparticles, are being more extensively researched. Nanoscientists hope to design multicomponent nanostructures and exploit their inherent multiple functionalities for use in many novel applications. This review highlights recent advances in the synthesis of multisegmented one-dimensional nanorods and nanowires with metal, semiconductor, polymer, molecular, and even gapped components. It also discusses the applications of these multicomponent nanomaterials in magnetism, self-assembly, electronics, biology, catalysis, and optics. Particular emphasis is placed on the new materials and devices achievable using these multicomponent, rather than single-component, nanowire structures.     

大孔高镍LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2正极材料的制备及其电化学性能研究

高分子模板调控不同形貌氧化亚铜的仿生合成

采用聚丙烯酰胺(PAM)为软模板,在CuSO4、Na2SO3体系中调控合成了片状、海胆状、一维线、针状聚集体氧化亚铜晶体。研究了不同浓度Cu2+、不同PAM含量及不同温度对晶体生长的影响。结果表明,PAM促使氧化亚铜异相成核,氧化亚铜形貌随PAM质量分数的变化而变化:当c(Cu2+)=0.5mol.L-1时,PAM质量分数为3.0%(常温引入体系),产物主要为片状晶体;PAM质量分数为1.0%、3.0%时(高温引入体系),分别获得一维线状、海胆状晶体;当Cu2+浓度为0.1 mol.L-1时,体系中高温引入质量分数3.0%的PAM,得到片层状晶体;当Cu2+浓度为0.3、0.4 mol.L-1时,得到针状聚集体氧化亚铜晶体。分别用X射线粉末衍射、冷场发射扫描电子显微镜和激光粒度仪对所制备的产品进行了表征。     

Supramolecular Templating of Mesopores in Phase-Separating Silica Sol-Gels Incorporated with Cationic Surfactant

Silica gels with hierarchical macropores and mesopores have been prepared by inducing phase separation in the alkoxide-based sol-gel system with an addition of alkyltrimethylammonium salt. Narrowly distributed mesopores were observed in the heat-treated gel samples possibly as a result of supramolecular templating of silica oligomers in the reacting solution. The ionic attractive interaction and hydrophobicity of the attached alkyl group cooperatively determined the phase separation tendency. No indication of long-range order of the mesopores was obtained.
