To help understand which tissue parameters best account for the water proton NMR relaxation times, the longitudinal relaxation time (T2), the transverse relaxation time (T2), and the water content of 16 tissues from normal adult rats were measured at 10.7 MHz and 29°C. Regression analyses between the above and other tissue parameters were performed. These other tissue parameters included: the amounts of various organic and inorganic components, protein synthetic rate, oxygen consumption rate, and morphological composition. In addition, the differences in T1, T2, and water content values between normal liver and malignant tumor (Morris #7777 a transplantable hepatoma) were studied to help understand how a disease state can be detected and characterized by NMR spectroscopy. The results of this study and information from the literature allow the following generalizations to be made about tissue T1 and T2 values: (1) Each normal tissue has rather consistent and characteristic T1 and T2 relaxation times which are always shorter than the T1 and T2 of bulk water; (2) tissues with higher water content tend to have longer T1 relaxation times; (3) tissue T2 values are not, however, as well correlated with water content as T1 values; (4) tissues with shorter T1 values have higher calculated hydration fractions, greater amounts of rough endoplasmic reticulum, and a greater rate of protein synthetic activity; (5) tissues with higher lipid content, associated with intracellular non-membrane bounded lipid droplets, tend to have longer T2 values; (6) tissues with greater overall surface area, whether in the form of cellular membranes or intracellular or extracellular fibrillar macromolecules, tend to have shorter T2 values; (7) the differences between T1 and T2 values between tumor and normal tissues correlated with differences in the volume fraction (amounts) of extracellular fluid volumes and in the amounts of membrane and fibrillar surface area in the cells. The above generalizations should be useful in predicting T1 and T2 changes associated with specific tissue pathologies.  相似文献

Layer structures of successive silver and silicon monoxide layer pairs were made using evaporating techniques. Small angle X-ray diffraction and multiple reflection interferometric techniques have been used to establish the identity periods of the samples. these samples were found to have switching characteristics. Slow and fast switching was observed and the application of voltage would induce switching into higher as well as into lower resistance states. 对褐色高温单孢菌PE-211(Thermomomospora fuscd PE-211)形态学和生物学特征进行了研究,该菌适宜在pH8.0~10.0、55-60℃条件下生长.初步研究了该菌产生的纤维素酶(CMCase)的一些基本性质,结果表明.CMCase最适作用温度为75℃,最适作用pH为9.0,Ca^2 和Mn^2 对酶反应有促进作用,Pb^2 和Hg^2 时酶反应有抑制作用.这种酶制剂在洗涤剂工业中具有良好的应用前景.  相似文献

The aim of this work is to discuss the growth characteristics of the ceramic coatings on Ti alloy by plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) technique. Ceramic coatings were prepared on Ti alloy by plasma electrolytic oxidation in different electrolyte solutions under different pulse modes. The composition and the structure of the coatings were investigated by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), respectively. The amount of the dissolved titanium into the electrolytes during PEO process was measured by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometer (ICP-AES). The structure and the composition of the coatings were related to the mode of the spark discharge during PEO process. (a) Under the pulsed single-polar mode: In Na3PO4 solution, the spark discharge was mainly due to the breakdown of the oxide film, and the coatings prepared were porous and mainly structured by the Ti from the substrate. In K4ZrF6-H3PO4 and NaAlO2-Na3PO4 solutions, the main mode of the spark discharge was the breakdown of the oxide film at the initial stage, and then changed into the breakdown of the vapor envelope, and the coatings were rough and thick, and mainly structured by the elements from the electrolyte. (b) Under the pulsed bi-polar mode in NaAlO2-Na3PO4 solution, the spark discharge may be mainly due to the breakdown of the oxide film, the coatings prepared were dense in inner layer and loose in outer layer, and structured by the elements from both the substrate and the electrolyte. Besides, the ICP-AES analyses showed that the amount of the dissolved titanium in the electrolyte during PEO process was more under the breakdown of the oxide film than under the breakdown of the vapor envelope, which was consistent with the changes of the structure of the coatings. Cathode pulse in the pulsed bi-polar mode increased the amount of the dissolved titanium in the electrolyte, compared with the pulsed single-polar one.  相似文献

In this paper, the magnetic-elastic-plastic deformation behavior is studied for a ferromagnetic plate with simple supports. The perturbation formula of magnetic force is first derived based on the perturbation technique, and is then applied to the analysis of deformation characteristics with emphasis laid on the analyses of modes, symmetry of deformation and influences of incident angle of applied magnetic field on the plate deformation. The theoretical analyses offer explanations why the configuration offer- romagnetic rectangular plate with simple supports under an oblique magnetic field is in-wavy type along the x-direction, and why the largest deformation of the ferromagnetic plate occurs at the incident angle of 45°for the magnetic field. A numerical code based on the finite element method is developed to simulate quantitatively behaviors of the nonlinearly coupled multi-field problem. Some characteristic curves are plotted to illustrate the magneto--elastic-plastic deflections, and to reveal how the deflections can be influenced by the incident angle of applied magnetic field. The deformation characteristics obtained from the numerical simulations are found in good agreement with the theoretical analyses.  相似文献
