农民责任观现状的实证研究——以湖南省衡南县花桥镇为例

以湖南省衡南县花桥镇为研究样本区域,从三方面对农民责任观现状展开了社会调查和实证分析,并对如何进一步增强农民责任观提出了建议。

Dynamic Model of R&D,Spillovers, and Efficiency of Bertrand and Cournot Equilibria

Using an infinite-horizon two-player differential game, we derive and compare Bertrand and Cournot equilibria for a differentiated duopoly engaging in the process of R&D competition. The main findings of this study are as follows. First, Bertrand competition is more efficient if either R&D productivity is low or products are very different. Second, Cournot competition is more efficient provided that R&D productivity is high, products are close substitutes, and spillovers are not close to zero. This last result is different from what has been obtained in the literature. Hence, this shows that considering a dynamic model and more general investment costs does have an impact on the efficiency results.     

A model of fads,fashions, and group formation

I develop a model of consumer behavior where agents purchase goods in order to signify personal characteristics. Agents purchase goods in order to imitate agents similar to them and agents they want to emulate. Depending on parameter values of consumer preferences the model generates stable groups, fads, and fashion cycles, or a mixture of both. The model is unique to the economic literature on fads in that the extinction of fads occurs endogenously in the model. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 9: 51–61, 2004     

Networks, Fields and Organizations: Micro-Dynamics, Scale and Cohesive Embeddings

Social action is situated in fields that are simultaneously composed of interpersonal ties and relations among organizations, which are both usefully characterized as social networks. We introduce a novel approach to distinguishing different network macro-structures in terms of cohesive subsets and their overlaps. We develop a vocabulary that relates different forms of network cohesion to field properties as opposed to organizational constraints on ties and structures. We illustrate differences in probabilistic attachment processes in network evolution that link on the one hand to organizational constraints versus field properties and to cohesive network topologies on the other. This allows us to identify a set of important new micro-macro linkages between local behavior in networks and global network properties. The analytic strategy thus puts in place a methodology for Predictive Social Cohesion theory to be developed and tested in the context of informal and formal organizations and organizational fields. We also show how organizations and fields combine at different scales of cohesive depth and cohesive breadth. Operational measures and results are illustrated for three organizational examples, and analysis of these cases suggests that different structures of cohesive subsets and overlaps may be predictive in organizational contexts and similarly for the larger fields in which they are embedded. Useful predictions may also be based on feedback from level of cohesion in the larger field back to organizations, conditioned on the level of multiconnectivity to the field.

上天入地：思想史的边界与方法

思想史的研究方法与研究对象有十分密切的关系。通常情况下,研究对象多少已经决定了合宜的方法。甚至可以说,合宜的方法内在于对象,至少是内在于主体和对象的关系。思想史的研究有两条边界,一条是向上的通向哲学、形而上精神的世界;另一条是向下深挖的通向社会的、形而下生活的世界。思想史的这两条边界决定了思想史研究的主要方法取向。     

Scale-free behavior of the Internet global performance

Measurements and data analysis have proved very effective in the study of the Internet's physical fabric and have shown heterogeneities and statistical fluctuations extending over several orders of magnitude. Here we focus on the relationship between the Round-Trip-Time (RTT) and the geographical distance. We define dimensionless variables that contain information on the quality of Internet connections finding that their probability distributions are characterized by a slow power-law decay signalling the presence of scale-free features. These results point out the extreme heterogeneity of Internet delay since the transmission speed between different points of the network exhibits very large fluctuations. The associated scaling exponents appear to have fairly stable values in different data sets and thus define an invariant characteristic of the Internet that might be used in the future as a benchmark of the overall state of “health” of the Internet. 移民村落的权力博弈与移民的适应——以广东三峡移民村落白村为例

通过对一个安置在广东的三峡移民村落白村首任村长上任、下台的调查与分析,探究了移民村落的乡村权力“博弈”过程,以及这种乡村权力与移民适应的关系,指出帮助移民获得适当的社会资本是帮助移民更好地适应的策略之一。
