无杂质空位诱导InGaAs／InP量子阱结构的光荧光研究

用光荧光谱（PL）方法研究了无杂质空位诱导（IFV）InGaAs/InP多量子阱（MQWs）结构的带隙蓝移，实验中选用Si3N4作为电介质层，用以产生空位，并经快速热退火处理，产生扩散，实验结果表明，带隙蓝移同退火温度和退火时间有关，最佳退火条件的800℃，10s。同时二次离子质谱（SIMS）的分析表明，电介质盖层Si3N4和快速热退火（RTA）导致量子阱中阱和垒之间元素互扩，这种互扩是导致带隙蓝移的主要原因。     

Stein's phenomenon in estimation of means restricted to a polyhedral convex cone

This paper treats the problem of estimating the restricted means of normal distributions with a known variance, where the means are restricted to a polyhedral convex cone which includes various restrictions such as positive orthant, simple order, tree order and umbrella order restrictions. In the context of the simultaneous estimation of the restricted means, it is of great interest to investigate decision-theoretic properties of the generalized Bayes estimator against the uniform prior distribution over the polyhedral convex cone. In this paper, the generalized Bayes estimator is shown to be minimax. It is also proved that it is admissible in the one- or two-dimensional case, but is improved on by a shrinkage estimator in the three- or more-dimensional case. This means that the so-called Stein phenomenon on the minimax generalized Bayes estimator can be extended to the case where the means are restricted to the polyhedral convex cone. The risk behaviors of the estimators are investigated through Monte Carlo simulation, and it is revealed that the shrinkage estimator has a substantial risk reduction.     

Skew-symmetric identities of octonions

Quadratic alternative superalgebras are introduced and their super-identities and central functions on one odd generator are described. As a corollary, all multilinear skew-symmetric identities and central polynomials of octonions are classified.

山西中部盆地主要地质灾害及防治对策

地质灾害是地壳内动力地质作用及岩石圈表层在大气圈、水圈、生物圈相互作用和影响之下，使人类生命及财产遭受损失的一种灾害现象．临汾盆地位于山西省中南部，是一个断陷盆地，新生代以来本区在新的应力场作用下，一直发生着断裂和差异升降运动，导致本区地质构造破碎，地质灾害频繁发生．临汾盆地历史上一直是山西省经济发达、人口众多的地区之一，因此历次地质灾害的发生都给当地居民和工农业生产带来了巨大的经济损失．2003年11月25日中午13时40分，临汾盆地又一次发生地震，震中在洪洞县甘亭一带，震级为5．3级．这次地震的发生，重新唤醒了当地人们对地质灾害的重视．为了全面了解临汾盆地主要地质灾害情况，提前做好具有针对性的防灾减灾准备工作，该文作者协同临汾市地质工作人员通过实地考察，对临汾盆地现存的主要地质灾害进行分类研究，提出了系统防治对策，以供决策部门参考．     

A Kronecker factorization theorem for the exceptional Jordan superalgebra

We prove that a Jordan superalgebra J containing the 10-dimensional exceptional Kac superalgebra K₁₀ is isomorphic to (K₁₀⊗_FS)⊕J′, where S is an associative commutative algebra.     

Representations of centrally-extended Lie algebras over differential operators and vertex algebras

We construct irreducible modules of centrally-extended classical Lie algebras over left ideals of the algebra of differential operators on the circle, through certain irreducible modules of centrally-extended classical Lie algebras of infinite matrices with finite number of nonzero entries. The structures of vertex algebras associated with the vacuum representations of these algebras are determined. Moreover, we prove that under certain conditions, the highest-weight irreducible modules of centrally-extended classical Lie algebras of infinite matrices with finite number of nonzero entries naturally give rise to the irreducible modules of the simple quotients of these vertex algebras. From vertex algebra and its representation point of view, our results with positive integral central charge are high-order differential operator analogues of the well-known WZW models in conformal field theory associated with affine Kac-Moody algebras. Indeed, when the left ideals are the algebra of differential operators, our Lie algebras do contain affine Kac-Moody algebras as subalgebras and our results restricted on them are exactly the representation contents in WZW models. Similar results with negative central charge are also obtained.     

Lévy group and density measures

We will deal with finitely additive measures on integers extending the asymptotic density. We will study their relation to the Lévy group G of permutations of N. Using a new characterization of the Lévy group G we will prove that a finitely additive measure extends density if and only if it is G-invariant.
