Synthesis,Characterisation, and in vitro Cytotoxic Activity of Dithiocarbamato Glycoconjugate Half-Sandwich Ruthenium and Osmium Complexes

The synthesis by transmetallation and in-depth characterisation by IR spectroscopy of five half-sandwich ruthenium and osmium dithiocarbamato isonipecotamide glycoconjugate complexes are presented herein. The evaluation of their in vitro cytotoxicity and of the zinc precursors’ in vitro cytotoxicity towards ovarian cancer (A2780 and A2780cisR) and normal prostate (PNT2) cells is reported. While the cytotoxicity of the compounds is rather limited, some selectivity is observed.     

Facetting and (n × 1) reconstructions of SrTiO3(1 1 0) surfaces

(n × 1) reconstructions and facetting of the (1 1 0) polar surface of SrTiO₃ are studied by means of a combination of shell model and density functional calculations. The polarity compensation can be achieved through the formation of {1 0 0} nano-facets, which play a crucial role in the reconstruction process. The behaviors of various possible terminations (Sr, Ti, and O) are analyzed, as well as their atomic structure and energetics. Their stability in different chemical environments is discussed, with respect to previous formulations and experimental results. The Sr-terminated surface tends to expose large facets, while the TiO and O terminations are marginally stabilized or even destabilized by (n × 1) reconstructions, respectively. Trend to facetting results from a subtle competition between the thermodynamic stability of the ideal non stoichiometric (n × 1) surfaces, and huge atomic relaxations that contribute to the lowering of the surface energy differently for each termination.

利用对称空间的对偶性,本文建立局部强凸对称等仿射球之集与某复空间形式中的极小对称Lagrange子流形之集间的对应关系,在自然定义的等价意义下,这是一一对应关系.作为这种对应关系的直接应用,本文用完全不同的方法重新证明胡泽军等人最近建立的一个重要定理.该定理对具有平行Fubini-Pick形式的局部强凸等仿射球进行了完全分类.     

Effect of Land Use on Soil Properties in Debris Flow Bottomland： A Case Study at Xiaojiang Basin, Yunnan

In order to understand the effect of different land use on soil physics and nutrients properties of the debris flow bottomland, a case study at Daqing gully （in Xiaojiang Basin, Yunnan） was conducted in 2004. Soil samples were taken at depth of 0-10,10-20,20-40,40-60,60-80 cm under three land use patterns crop bottomland （CL）, forest bottomland （FL）, and barren bottomland（BL）. The results showed that the developing bottomland to CL promoted soil toaccumulate total phosphorus （TP） and available phosphorus （AP）, pH value transferred from neutral to alkalescency, and organic matter decreased significantly. Furthermore, the contents of total nitrogen （TN） and available nitrogen （AN） in CL were lower than that of FL and BL because the growth of crops consumed more nutrients in soil. The results also showed that the contents of TP, AP and available potassium （AK） in soil were positively correlated with soil particle.

Weighted differentiation composition operator from logarithmic Bloch spaces to Bloch‐type spaces

In this paper, we give a new characterization for the boundedness of weighted differentiation composition operator from logarithmic Bloch spaces to Bloch‐type spaces and calculate its essential norm in terms of the n‐th power of induced analytic self‐map on the unit disk. From which a sufficient and necessary condition of compactness of this operator follows immediately.     

ON COMPACT COMPOSITION OPERATORS ON A CLASS OF HOLOMORPHIC FUNCTION SPACES OVER THE UNIT BALL IN C~n

In this paper, a general function space X(B n ) over the unit ball in C n with norm · X(Bn) is introduced. It contains all Hardy space, Bergman space, Besov space etc. The author gives a formulation of a compact composition operator on X(B n ), related to works of [8] and [10].     

Some properties of composition operators on Hilbert spaces of Dirichlet series

In this paper, we study some properties of composition operators on Hilbert spaces of Dirichlet series, which include the Fredholmness, Hilbert-Schmidtness, spectra, cyclic and hypercyclic phenomenons, and also answer a norm question raised by Cowen and MacCluer.
