Strong Vector Equilibrium Problems

In this paper, the existence of the solution for strong vector equilibrium problems is studied by using the separation theorem for convex sets. The arc-wise connectedness and the closedness of the strong solution set for vector equilibrium problems are discussed; and a necessary and sufficient condition for the strong solution is obtained.     

Convergence Rate of The Trust Region Method for Nonlinear Equations Under Local Error Bound Condition

In this paper, we present the new trust region method for nonlinear equations with the trust region converging to zero. The new method preserves the global convergence of the traditional trust region methods in which the trust region radius will be larger than a positive constant. We study the convergence rate of the new method under the local error bound condition which is weaker than the nonsingularity. An example given by Y.X. Yuan shows that the convergence rate can not be quadratic. Finally, some numerical results are given. About Regularity of Collections of Sets

The paper continues investigations of stationarity and regularity properties of collections of sets in normed spaces. It contains a summary of different characterizations (both primal and dual) of regularity and a list of sufficient conditions for a collection of sets to be regular.     

INERTIAL MANIFOLDS FOR NONAUTONOMOUS SEMILINEAR PARABOLIC PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH TIME DELAYS

The present paper deals with the long-time behavior of a class of nonautonomous retarded semilinear parabolic differential equations. When the time delays are small enough and the spectral gap conditions hold, the inertial manifolds of the nonautonomous retard parabolic equations are constructed by using the Lyapunov-Perron method.     

Uniform convergence of Galerkin‐multigrid methods for nonconforming finite elements for second‐order problems with less than full elliptic regularity

In this article we prove uniform convergence estimates for the recently developed Galerkin‐multigrid methods for nonconforming finite elements for second‐order problems with less than full elliptic regularity. These multigrid methods are defined in terms of the “Galerkin approach,” where quadratic forms over coarse grids are constructed using the quadratic form on the finest grid and iterated coarse‐to‐fine intergrid transfer operators. Previously, uniform estimates were obtained for problems with full elliptic regularity, whereas these estimates are derived with less than full elliptic regularity here. Applications to the nonconforming P₁, rotated Q₁, and Wilson finite elements are analyzed. The result applies to the mixed method based on finite elements that are equivalent to these nonconforming elements. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Generalized Einstein conditions on holomorphic Riemannian manifolds

Summary At first, a necessary and sufficient condition for a K?hler-Norden manifold to be holomorphic Einstein is found. Next, it is shown that the so-called (real) generalized Einstein conditions for K?hler-Norden manifolds are not essential since the scalarcurvature of such manifolds is constant. In this context, we study generalized holomorphic Einstein conditions. Using the one-to-one correspondence between K?hler-Norden structures and holomorphic Riemannian metrics, we establish necessary and sufficient conditions for K?hler-Norden manifolds to satisfy the generalized holomorphic Einstein conditions. And a class of new examples of such manifolds is presented. Finally, in virtue of the obtained results, we mention that Theorems 1 and 2 of H. Kim and J. Kim [10] are not true in general.
