Study on the recovery of NBTI of ultra-deep sub-micro MOSFETs

Taking the actual operating condition of complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) circuit into account, conventional direct current (DC) stress study on negative bias temperature instability (NBTI) neglects the detrapping of oxide positive charges and the recovery of interface states under the `low' state of p-channel metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs) inverter operation. In this paper we have studied the degradation and recovery of NBTI under alternating stress, and presented a possible recovery mechanism. The three stages of recovery mechanism under positive bias are fast recovery, slow recovery and recovery saturation.     

Maps and inverse maps in open quantum dynamics

Two kinds of maps that describe evolution of states of a subsystem coming from dynamics described by a unitary operator for a larger system, maps defined for fixed mean values and maps defined for fixed correlations, are found to be quite different for the same unitary dynamics in the same situation in the larger system. An affine form is used for both kinds of maps to find necessary and sufficient conditions for inverse maps. All the different maps with the same homogeneous part in their affine forms have inverses if and only if the homogeneous part does. Some of these maps are completely positive; others are not, but the homogeneous part is always completely positive. The conditions for an inverse are the same for maps that are not completely positive as for maps that are. For maps defined for fixed mean values, the homogeneous part depends only on the unitary operator for the dynamics of the larger system, not on any state or mean values or correlations. Necessary and sufficient conditions for an inverse are stated several different ways: in terms of the maps of matrices, basis matrices, density matrices, or mean values. The inverse maps are generally not tied to the dynamics the way the maps forward are. A trace-preserving completely positive map that is unital cannot have an inverse that is obtained from any dynamics described by any unitary operator for any states of a larger system.

针对一类被控对象具有二阶系统标准形式的振荡系统进行了稳定性分析,讨论了闭环系统为单位负反馈时信号传输时滞对控制系统性能的影响.通过绘制和分析相对阻尼系数在不同取值区间的Nyquist曲线,得出了时滞与闭环系统稳定性的关系,并对各种情况进行了单位阶跃响应的实例仿真.仿真结果表明了分析的正确性.     

The changing of the guard: Molecular diversity and rapid evolution of β-defensins

Summary Defensins are small cationic peptides involved in innate immunity and are components of the first line of defence against invading pathogens. β-defensins are a subgroup of the defensin family that display a particular cysteine spacing and pattern of intramolecular bonding. These molecules are produced mostly by epithelia lining exposed surfaces and appear to have both antimicrobial and cell signalling functions. The unusually high degree of sequence variation in the mature peptide produced by the paralogous and in some cases orthologous genes implies extensive specialisation and species specific adaptation. Here we review recent functional data that are an important addition to our knowledge of the innate immune response and novel antibiotic design. We also consider the organisation and evolution of the genomic loci harbouring these genes where radical and rapid changes in β-defensin sequences have been shown to result from the interplay of both positive and negative selection. Consequently these genes provide some unusually clear glimpses of the processes of duplication and specialisation that have shaped the mammalian genome.     

Probabilistic Teleportation of an Arbitrary Unknown Two-Qubit State via Positive Operator-Valued Measure and Two Non-maximally Entangled States

We present a scheme for probabilistically teleporting an arbitrary unknown two-qubit state through a quantum channel made up of two nonidentical non-maximally entangled states. In this scheme, the probabilistic teleportation is realized by using a proper positive operator-valued measure instead of usual projective measurement.     

多脉冲加载下材料的绝缘特性

利用多脉冲实验平台分别对尼龙与交联聚苯乙烯两种绝缘材料在单脉冲与三脉冲两种不同加载条件下的绝缘特性差异进行初步研究,得到了两种绝缘材料在不同加载条件下沿面闪络场强的统计平均值,结合实验现象对所得实验结果做出了初步分析。通过进行单脉冲与三脉冲加载条件下材料沿面闪络场强的对比实验,为新型绝缘器件设计中相关参数的确定提供了实验依据。

Input-to-state stability and stabilization for switched nonlinear positive systems

Input-to-state stability (ISS) analysis and stabilization are concerned in this paper for switched nonlinear positive systems (SNPS), where the deterministic and random switching are both included. For general SNPS, switched affine nonlinear positive systems (SANPS) and switched linear positive systems (SLPS) with deterministic and some kinds of random ”slow” switching, some criterions on ISS are provided. From the criterions for SANPS and SLPS, the ISS properties can be judged just by the differential, algebraic and switching characteristics of the systems. Further, based on the criterions for SANPS and SLPS, some state feedback controllers are designed such that the closed-loop systems be positive, ISS or ISS in some stochastic senses. Four simulation examples verify the validity of our results.
