Charge plate technique in recoil study: Evidence for collection of recoil charged species from solid targets on metal electrodes

The occurrence of charge on recoil⁵⁶Mn produced by the (n,γ) reaction in polycrystalline potassium permanganate has been examined using the ‘charge plate technique’. From considerations of capture gamma ray decay schemes and internal conversion it appears that, in a condensed medium, the recoil atom develops charge after losing much of its initial kinetic energy which allows collection on charged electrodes. Preliminary findings were presented at the International Symposium on Radiochemistry and Radiation Chemistry, RC-41 BARC, Bombay, Feb. 4–6 (1991).     

中厚板矫直技术发展的现状与展望

介绍了国内外矫直技术与矫直设备的发展水平与方向 ,在简要介绍中厚板矫直机理的基础上 ,指出了目前我国中厚板矫直技术存在的一些差距与不足 ,为我国中厚板矫直设备的改造提供了一定的参考依据。     

Comparison of detection efficiencies of negatively charged gold-alkanethiolate-, gold-sulfur- and gold-clusters in ToF-SIMS

In order to improve quantification of high mass ions, the influence of cluster composition on detection efficiencies has been studied using a TOF-SIMS IV with the extended capability of postaccelerating ions up to 20 keV. In this experimental study, we focus on the comparison of detection efficiencies for three types of negatively charged secondary cluster ions: gold-alkanethiolate-clusters (Au_xM_y), gold-sulfur-clusters (Au_xS_y) and gold-clusters (Au_x). The clusters were sputtered from self-assembled monolayers of hexadecanethiols on gold substrates using 10 keV Ar⁺ primary ions. The detection efficiencies were derived on the basis of a function for the secondary electron yield and a fourth-order approximated Poisson probability distribution for electron propagation and amplification within the microchannel plate.In addition to the well-known dependence of detection efficiencies on ion mass and energy, which has already been studied for positively charged ions, we were able to show a similar behaviour for the investigated negatively charged secondary ions. We have observed major variations among the three types of clusters at similar mass and energy as predicted in a theoretical approach. The observed differences are due to the different composition of the investigated clusters which has a major influence on the kinetic ion induced electron emission within the microchannel plate. For the first time it was possible to experimentally verify these predictions for detection efficiencies.

复合材料薄平板经热压制成后,都需要进行质量检测。本文探索用测量模态阻尼和振型的方法,对复合材料薄平板的制作质量进行无损检测,作为对其它昂贵的无损检测方法的补充。略述用振动方法进行无损检测的原理,测量薄平板阻尼的方法以及提高测量精度的措施。还讨论在测量薄平板阻尼时可能遇到的一些特殊问题(如非线性刚度、拍、模态密集等问题);以云母基复合材料薄平板作为例子,从测量其阻尼和振型的结果,对这种板的制作质量进行讨论。     

An unflexural refined model of deformation of multilayered plates on an undeformable foundation

The stress-strain state of multilayered plates on an undeformable foundation is investigated. The design diagram of a transversely loaded plate is formed by supplementing it with a symmetric one about the contact surface of the foundation. The double-thickness plate obtained becomes loaded bilaterally and symmetrically about its midsurface. In such a way, only unflexural deformations can be modeled, which reduces the number of unknowns and the general order of differentiation of the resolving system of equations. The refined continual model developed takes into account the deformations of transverse shear and transverse compression in high iterative approximations. The cases of a rigid contact between the foundation and the plate and frictionless slip of the plate over the foundation are considered. Calculations confirm the efficiency of such an approach, which allows one to obtain solutions qualitatively and quantitatively close to three-dimensional ones. __________ Translated from Mekhanika Kompozitnykh Materialov, Vol. 42, No. 5, pp. 643–654, September–October, 2006.     

三代像增强器用微通道板的改进与发展

简要说明了三代像增强器的特点，分析了微通道板的离子反馈形成机理，给出有效抑制离子反馈对光阴极造成伤害的2种方法，即一种是减少和清除微通道板的吸附气体，另一种是阻止反馈离子反馈到光阴极上。介绍了国外最新的三代像增强器，以及使用优化改进的高性能微通道板显著减薄甚至彻底去除微通道板离子反馈膜的方法，该方法能维持砷化镓光阴极足够长的工作寿命，还介绍了最新发展的体导电微通道板和硅微通道板。指出高可靠性无膜选通砷化镓像增强器技术的实现，不仅需要微通道板在抑制离子反馈方面取得突破，还需要砷化镓光阴极在耐受离子反馈能力上进一步提高，同时还要结合和拓展选通电源的应用。     

Pseudo cyclic ionophores: ‘Binary-effect’ of quinolinyloxy groups at both ends of oligoethylene glycols on the conformational stabilization of their complexes with alkali metal salts

A series of noncyclic neutral ionophores has been synthesized by the reaction of oligoethylene glycol dihalides with 8-quinolinol. Complexation properties for alkali metal picrates were evaluated from solvent extraction and bulk liquid membrane transport experiments. Complexation profiles of the newly synthesized ionophores with a hexyl chain were similar to those of their homologues without the hexyl chain in the extraction experiments. Among them, the pentaethylene glycol derivatives showed the highest extraction efficiency and selectivity towards potassium ion. From the¹H NMR spectra (400 MHz), the change in chemical shifts of the aromatic protons upon the addition of alkali metal thiocyanates suggested the existence of a stabilization effect which is caused by intramolecular stacking conformations between the quinoline rings during complexation. Aryl stacking interactions depend on the size of the cations and on the chain length of the oligoethylene glycol. The relationship between transport ability towards alkali metal cations and lipophilicity of these ionophores is also discussed.     

改性壳聚精膜用于醇水混合液分离的研究──Ⅲ．超细粉末填充壳聚精膜

首次制备了用Ｓｉ３Ｎ４，ＳｉＯ２，ＴｉＨ４超细粉末填充的改性壳聚精膜，并将其用于乙醇／水混合液的分离中。实验表明壳聚糖膜经超细粉末填充后强度增大，溶胀度减小。用于乙醇／水混合液渗透蒸发分离时，分离因子和渗透通量都有提高，并在填充量为１６．７％附近出现极大值。随着料液中乙醇含量的增大，渗透通量减小，分离因子增大；随着料液温度的升高渗透通量显著增大，分离因子则稍有下降。并简单讨论了超细粉末在乙醇／水混合液分离中的作用。
