Carleson Type Measures for Harmonic Mixed Norm Spaces with Application to Toeplitz Operators

Let Ω be a bounded domain in Rnwith a smooth boundary, and let h p,q be the space of all harmonic functions with a finite mixed norm. The authors first obtain an equivalent norm on h p,q, with which the definition of Carleson type measures for h p,q is obtained. And also, the authors obtain the boundedness of the Bergman projection on h p,q which turns out the dual space of h p,q. As an application, the authors characterize the boundedness(and compactness) of Toeplitz operators T μ on h p,q for those positive finite Borel measures μ.     

On Bernstein Algebras Satisfying Chain Conditions

Our aim in this article is to study Noetherian and Artinian Bernstein algebras. We show that for Bernstein algebras which are either Jordan or nuclear, each of the Noetherian and Artinian conditions implies finite dimensionality. This result fails for general Noetherian or Artinian Bernstein algebras. We also investigate the relationships between the three finiteness conditions: Noetherian, Artinian, and finitely generated. Especially, we prove that Noetherian Bernstein algebras are finitely generated.     

On Some Ideals in the Free Nonassociative Algebra

The free Lie, right, and left Leibniz algebras are obtained as quotients of the free nonassociative algebra by suitable ideals. In this article, we prove some remarkable properties of these ideals.     

Conjugacy Classes,Class Sums and Character Tables for Hopf Algebras

We extend the notion of conjugacy classes and class sums from finite groups to semisimple Hopf algebras and show that the conjugacy classes are obtained from the factorization of H as irreducible left D(H)-modules. For quasitriangular semisimple Hopf algebras H, we prove that the product of two class sums is an integral combination of the class sums up to d ^?2 where d = dim H. We show also that in this case the character table is obtained from the S-matrix associated to D(H). Finally, we calculate explicitly the generalized character table of D(kS ₃), which is not a character table for any group. It moreover provides an example of a product of two class sums which is not an integral combination of class sums.     

Two Strong Convergence Theorems for a Proximal Method in Reflexive Banach Spaces

Two strong convergence theorems for a proximal method for finding common zeroes of maximal monotone operators in reflexive Banach spaces are established. Both theorems take into account possible computational errors.     

A Variable Metric Extension of the Forward–Backward–Forward Algorithm for Monotone Operators

We propose a variable metric extension of the forward–backward-forward algorithm for finding a zero of the sum of a maximally monotone operator and a monotone Lipschitzian operator in Hilbert spaces. In turn, this framework provides a variable metric splitting algorithm for solving monotone inclusions involving sums of composite operators. Monotone operator splitting methods recently proposed in the literature are recovered as special cases.     

Cohen and multiple Cohen strongly summing multilinear operators

Considering the successful theory of multiple summing multilinear operators as a prototype, we introduce the classes of multiple Cohen strongly p-summing multilinear operators and polynomials. The adequacy of these classes under the viewpoint of the theory of multilinear and polynomial ideals and holomorphy types is discussed in detail.
