A conjecture of M. J. Taylor concerning determinantal congruences

Let G be a finite group. The class group of the group ring of G is a quotient of the idèlic homomorphisms of R(G) by the global functions and the determinantal functions. Using Explicit Brauer Induction, we prove Adams operations, applied to determinantal functions, satisfy some congruences which were conjectured by M. J. Taylor. 引入双参数随机置换，考虑了具有参数ｐ，ｑ的随机Ｓｉｅｒｐｉｎｓｋｉ垫的各种形态的相位，讨论了ｐ，ｑ跨跃某些相位曲线时，其构成形态的变化情形，它包括了ｑ＝０的Ｓｉｅｒｐｉｎｓｋｉ垫和ｑ＝ｐ的Ｍａｎｄｅｌｂｒｏｔ渗流模型。

本文着重描述了附带各种约束的单一型装配线的平衡问题,讨论了如何在Thomopoulos无约束平衡搜寻方法的基础上,实施附带各类约束的单一型装配线的平衡过程,并给出了在计算机上成功运行的实例及其分析。     

一种测试圆度的新算法

轴承的外圆环、内圆环是否圆以及圆的程度如何,都会对使用轴承的机械设备产生很大的影响,但是它们是否圆,靠肉眼是很难观察出来的,我们只能用仪器进行测量,假设仪器测量的结果是准确的或者误差是确定的,由于算法不合理,可能本来是圆的但得到的结果却是不圆的,这样就把本来是合格的产品当作废品处理了,这是不应该出现的问题,本文提供了一种新的算法来解决此问题.     

两个数学建模问题的探讨

探讨了两个在教科书中作为例题的数学建模问题，一个是关于渔业生产的，另一个关于体育训练，对于前者，提出一个更为合理的解法；对于后者，则提出其中数学推导上的错漏并得出新的结论。     

The Two-Point Codes with the Designed Distance on a Hermitian Curve in Even Characteristic

In Homma M and Kim SJ [2], the authors considered two-point codes on a Hermitian curve defined over fields of odd characteristic. In this paper, we study the geometry of a Hermitian curve over fields of even characteristic and classify the two-point codes whose minimum distances agree with the designed ones.     

Reservoir operations optimization via fuzzy criterion decision processes

In this paper, we propose the treatment of complex reservoir operation problems via our newly developed tool of fuzzy criterion decision processes. This novel approach has been shown to be a more flexible and useful analysis tool especially when it is desirable to incorporate an expert’s knowledge into the decision models. Additionally, it has been demonstrated that this form of decision models will usually result in an optimal solution, which guarantees the highest satisfactory degree. We provide a practical exemplification procedure for the models presented as well as an application example.
