Movements in space-time: the author composes a hole diffeomorphism for a 3+1-dimensional space-time manifold, which is required in the so-called Hole Argument. The composition applies directly to the universe.

讨论了具有分段常数变量的捕食与被捕食模型的稳定性与分支分析.利用Jury判据得到模型正平衡态局部渐近稳定、不稳定的充分条件;应用中心流形定理和分支理论给出模型存在分支的条件;通过实例验证定理条件与结论的可实现性并说明了在一定条件下模型动力学行为的复杂性.     

一类具多时滞二阶非线性微分方程的周期解

研究一类具有多变时滞的二阶非线性微分方程x″(t)+f1(x(t))x′(t)+f2(x(t-τ1(t)))(x′(t))2+g(t,x(t-τ2(t)))的周期解的存在性问题.利用重合度理论中的连续定理和一些分析技巧,得到该方程存在周期解的一些新结果,所得结果推广和改进了刘斌的结果.     

一类磁滞动力学方程的辐角稳定性判别法

笔者利用分布切削力的特性建立的一种磁滞动力学微分-积分方程为例,提出了一种新的稳定性判别法,给出动力学方程渐近稳定条件及稳定性判别理论,通过计算特征方程的辐角变化量来判别方法的稳定性。该方法计算简单,可以成为切削加工的稳定性理论研究的一种新判别方法。     

一类三阶具偏差变元微分方程的周期解

利用重合度理论研究一类三阶具偏差变元微分方程x'(t) f(x'(t)) g(x(t-τ(t)))=p(t)的2π-周期解问题,得到了存在2π-周期解的充分条件.扩展了已有文献的相关结论.     

Algebraic methods in discrete analogs of the Kakeya problem

We prove the joints conjecture, showing that for any N lines in R³, there are at most points at which 3 lines intersect non-coplanarly. We also prove a conjecture of Bourgain showing that given N² lines in R³ so that no N lines lie in the same plane and so that each line intersects a set P of points in at least N points then the cardinality of the set of points is Ω(N³). Both our proofs are adaptations of Dvir's argument for the finite field Kakeya problem.     

Stability in cellular neural networks with a piecewise constant argument

In this paper, by using the concept of differential equations with piecewise constant arguments of generalized type [1], [2], [3] and [4], a model of cellular neural networks (CNNs) [5] and [6] is developed. The Lyapunov-Razumikhin technique is applied to find sufficient conditions for the uniform asymptotic stability of equilibria. Global exponential stability is investigated by means of Lyapunov functions. An example with numerical simulations is worked out to illustrate the results.     

On existence and asymptotic behaviour of solutions of a fractional integral equation

We study the solvability of a quadratic integral equation of fractional order with linear modification of the argument. This equation is considered in the Banach space of real functions, defined, bounded and continuous on an unbounded interval. Moreover, we will obtain some asymptotic characterization of solutions.
