Virtual Photon Effects on Chaos in Generalized Lorenz-Haken Equation

The dynamics of an ensemble of two-level atoms injected into a single-mode cavity is studied in the exact atom-field interaction situation, in which the counter-rotating terms describing the so-called virtual photon processes neglected in the rotating-wave approximation, are considered. The cavity mode is driven by the injected classical field,and the atom is prepared in a coherent superposition of the two levels. We first derive the generalized Lorenz-Haken equation by using the technique of quantum Langevin equation, and then numerically study the dynamics of this equation.We find that the virtual photon processes have strong effects on the dynamics, which can cause the trajectory in phase space of strange attractor spiral around four focus points, and the trajectory is modulated by virtual photon processes.The chaos region in parameter space is now enlarged. It should be stressed that the strange attractor can exist in optical bistability, and whether the atomic coherences and classical field can inhibit chaos depends on the laser frequency.

利用模拟退火算法进行油井流入动态研究

油井流入动态是油井举升优化设计的基础 ,目前国内外研究油井流入动态的方法有多种 ,但是各有其不足和局限性 .为此利用模拟退火方法进行油井流入动态方法研究 .与以往的近似算法相比 ,该方法不需要将单相流和多相流分开讨论 ,且无任何假设条件 ,适用范围广 ;通过实例 ,把模拟退火的预测的产量结果与利用 Vogel方程所预测的产量结果进行比较和误差分析 ,结果表明 ,该算法的误差是非常小的 .因此 ,利用该算法研究油井流入动态非常可行 .     

关于拟赋值环的一个刻画

Let R be a commutative ring without nil-factor. In this paper, we discuss the problem of quasi-valuation ring presented in the reference “Wang Shianghaw, On quasi-valuation ring, Northeast People‘s Univ. Natur. Sci. J., (1)(1957), 27-40”,when the quotient field of R is an algebraic number field or an algebraic function field, and we obtain a characterization of quasi-valuation rings.     

Maxima of Subexponential Shot-Noise Fields with Finite Radius of Influence

We study the asymptotic behavior of the maxima of shot-noise fields on bounded measurable domains tending to infinity in the sense of van Hove. It is assumed that the radius of influence is finite and the amplitudes are subexponentially distributed. A nondegenerate limiting distribution for the maxima is obtained.     

Mossbauer study of ferrite systems Co x Mn1−x Fe2O4 and Ni x Mn1−x Fe2O4

Mössbauer spectra of Co _x Mn_1?x Fe₂O₄ and Ni _x Mn_1?x Fe₂O₄ ferrites withx values ranging from 0·1 to 0·8 in steps of 0·1 have been recorded at room temperature. All spectra exhibit well-defined Zeeman hyperfine patterns. It has been observed that hyperfine field at Fe³⁺ nucleus increases more rapidly by nickel substitution than by cobalt substitution. This has been explained in terms of exchange interactions and cation distribution in the spinels. Hyperfine fields, isomer shifts and quadrupole splittings have been determined.

Predictions of γ(4S)→h_b(1P,2P)π^+π^- transitions

We study the contributions of intermediate bottomonium-like Zb states and the bottom meson loops in the heavy quark spin flip transitionsγ(4 S)→hb(1 P,2 P)π+π-.Depending on the constructive or destructive interferences between the Zb-exchange and the bottom meson loops mechanisms,we predict two possible branching ratios for each process:BRγ(4 S)→hb(1 P)π+π-≈(1.20.40.8×10^-6)or(0.5-0.20.5×10^-6),and BRγ(4 S)→(2 P)π+π-≈(7.1-1.1+1.7×10^-10)or(2.4-0.10.2×10^-10)).The contribution of the bottom meson loops is found to be considerably larger than that of the Zbexchange in the T(4 S)→hb(1 P)ππtransitions,while its decay rates are not comparable to those of heavy quark spin conservedγ(4 S)→γ(1 S,2 S)ππprocesses.We also predict the contribution of the charm meson loops in the branch fractions ofΨ(3 S,4 S)→hc(1 P)ππ.
