The evolution of 2-D disturbances in hypersonic boundary layer with Mach number 6,8, and 10 was investigated numerically by
three different numerical schemes. At the entrance, second mode T-S waves with different amplitudes were introduced, and the
relation between the Mach number and the amplitude of the disturbance when shocklets started to appear was investigated. By
comparing the disturbance velocity profiles with those provided by linear stability theory, the effects of shocklets on flow

In high gain harmonic generation (HGHG) free electron laser (FEL), with the right choice of parameters of the modulator undulator, the dispersive section and the seed laser, one may make the spatial bunching of the electron beam density distribution correspond to one of the harmonic frequencies of the radiator radiation, instead of the fundamental frequency of the radiator radiation in conventional HGHG, thus the radiator undulator is in harmonic operation (HO) mode. In this paper, we investigate HO of HGHG FEL.Theoretical analyses with universal method are derived and numerical simulations in ultraviolet and deep ultraviolet spectral regions are given. It shows that the power of the 3rd harmonic radiation in the HO of HGHG may be as high as 18.5% of the fundamental power level. The performance of three-colour HgCdTe photovoltaic heterostructure detector is examined theoretically. In comparison with
two-colour detectors with two back-to-back junctions, three-colour structure contains an absorber of intermediate wavelength
placed between two junctions and electronic barriers are used to isolate this intermediate region. This structure was first
proposed by British workers.
Three-detector structures with different localizations of separating barriers are analyzed. The calculation results are presented
in the form of spatial distributions of bandgap energy and quantum efficiency.
Enhanced original computer programs are applied to solve the system of non-linear continuity equations for carriers and Poisson
equations. In addition, the numerical analysis includes the dependence of absorption coefficient on Burstein effect as well
as interference effects in heterostructure with metallic electrical contacts.
It is shown that the performance of the detector is critically dependent on the barrier’s doping level and position in relation
to the junction. This behaviour is serious disadvantage of the considered three-colour detector. A small shift of the barrier
location and doping level causes serious changes in spectral responsivity. 相似文献

When the stagnation temperature of a perfect gas increases, the specific heats and their ratio do not remain constant any
more and start to vary with this temperature. The gas remains perfect and its state equation always remains valid, except
it will be called a calorically imperfect gas. The aim of this research is to develop the relations of the necessary thermodynamics
and geometrical ratios and to study the supersonic flow at high temperature (lower than the threshold of dissociation). The
results are found by the resolution of nonlinear algebraic equations and integration of complex analytical functions where
the exact calculation is impossible. The dichotomy method is used to solve the nonlinear equation, and the Simpson algorithm
is used for the numerical integration of the found integrals. A condensation of the nodes is used, since the functions to
be integrated have a high gradient at the extremity of the interval of integration. A comparison is made with a calorifcally
perfect gas to determine the error of this. An application is made for air in a supersonic nozzle.

In this paper, we directly extend the applications of the Adomian decomposition method to investigate the complex KdV equation. By choosing different forms of wave functions as the initial values, three new types of realistic numerical solutions: numerical positon, negaton solution, and particularly the numerical analytical complexiton solution are obtained, which can rapidly converge to the exact ones obtained by Lou et al. The absolute photonic band gap (PBG) in two-dimensional (2D) photonic crystal with excentric core-shell rods is studied in
this paper. The core rod shifts away from the core-shell rod center, and its position is decided by two new introduced parameters
— the shift angle θ and the offset ρ. We use the FDTD algorithm to calculate the photonic bands of the photonic crystal, and analyze how the offset and shift
angle affect the photonic bang gap of excentric core-shell photonic crystal for different core rod size. It has been shown

The problem of the thermal stability of a horizontal incompressible fluid layer with linear and nonlinear temperature distributions is solved by using the sequential gradient-restoration algorithm developed for optimal control problems. The hydrodynamic boundary conditions for the layer include a rigid or free upper surface and a rigid lower surface. The resulting disturbing equations are solved as a Bolza problem in the calculus of variations. 结合广义有限元法(GFEM)和扩展有限元法(XFEM)的特点,提出了一种新的数值方法——广义扩展有限元法(GXFEM)。阐述了广义扩展有限元法的基本原理,对相关公式进行推导,探讨数值实施中需注意的重要问题,给出利用广义扩展有限元法进行断裂分析时应力强度因子的计算方法,编写了广义扩展有限元法程序。通过算例进行了应力强度因子的计算,模拟了结构裂纹的扩展过程。算例结果表明,利用广义扩展有限元法计算裂纹扩展问题,不需要进行过密的网格划分,且网格在裂纹扩展后无需重新剖分,具有相当高的计算精度。 相似文献
