Abstract

Calorimetric titrations have been performed in anhydrous acetonitrile at 25°C to give the complex stability constants (K s) and the thermodynamic parameters (ΔGΔ, ΔHΔ and ΔSΔ) for the complexation of light lanthanoid(III) nitrates (La-Gd) with N-benzylaza-21-crown-7 3. Data analyses, assuming 1:1 stoichiometry, were successfully applied to all light lanthanoid-azacrown ether combinations employed. Using the present and previous data on 15- to 21- membered N-benzylazacrown ethers 1–3, the effect of ring size upon complexation behavior was discussed comparatively and globally from the thermodynamic point of view. The complexation behaviors are analyzed in terms of the size-fit concept, N-substituent coordination numbers, and lanthanoid's surface charge density. Thermodynamically the complexation of light lanthanoids with azacrown ethers is enthalpy-driven, while the cation selectivity is generally entropy-driven in acetonitrile.  相似文献

The thermodynamic properties of saturated aqueous lanthanide nitrate solutions were determined using recently published critically evaluated solubility and activity data. The variation of the thermodynamic functions and congruent melting points as a function of atomic number are interpreted in terms of changes in inner sphere coordination number in both the solid hexahydrates and in the aquo ions, and in terms of the double-double effect.Inconsistencies in experimental solubility data are generally caused by uncertainties in solid phase composition which is shown to be due to the very small Gibbs energies accompanying transitions from stable to metastable systems differing in the number of hydrating water molecules.Presentation to First International Symposium on Solubility Phenomena, University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, August 21–23, 1984.  相似文献

3-Cyano- and 3-(alkoxycarbonyl)spiro[2-pyrazoline-5,1’-cyclopropane] and 5-phenylspiro[1-pyrazoline-3,1’-cyclopropane] undergo unusual transformations into 3(5)-substituted 5(3)-(2-hydroperoxyethyl)pyrazoles in the presence of atmospheric oxygen. Summary The stability constants n of nitrato complexes of Pr, Nd, Sm, Ho, and Er were determined by UV/Vis spectroscopy. It was found that 1=0.87, 1.24, 1.94, 0.24, 0.11 forM (NO3)2+ (M=Pr, Nd, Sm, Ho, Er) and 2=0.06, 0.04 forM (NO3) 2 + (M=Pr, Nd) at 25 °C. Detailed inspection of the lanthanide spectra shows that increasing nitrate concentration in the solution results in a bathochromic shift of the f-f bands for Nd and Sm which provides evidence for the formation of inner sphere nitrato complexes.

Zusammenfassung Die Stabilitätskonstanten n der Nitratokomplexe von Pr, Nd, Sm, Ho und Er wurden UV/Vis-spektroskopisch bestimmt. Es ergaben sich Werte von 0.87, 1.24, 1.94, 0.24 und 0.11 für 1 (M(NO3)2+,M=Pr, Nd, Sm, Ho, Er) und 0.06 und 0.04 für 2 (M(NO3) 2 + ,M=Pr, Nd). Eine detaillierte Analyse der Lanthanidenspektren zeigt, daß steigende Nitratkonzentration in Lösung eine bathochrome Verschiebung der f-f-Banden von Nd und Sm bewirkt. Das weist auf die Bildung voninner sphere — Nitratokomplexen hin.

Summary The Separation Factors for Pr/La, Nd/Pr, and Sm/Nd, characterizing the crystallization of ammonium and magnesium double nitrates under practical conditions, were determined analytically and are discussed. They confirm that La and Pr can be separated better by fractional crystallization of ammonium double nitrates, whereas in the presence of Sm the magnesium double nitrates are preferable.

采用戴安公司谱睿(Pre)在线样品除氯技术,结合OnGuard Ba柱去除硫酸盐,建立了离子色谱直接测定海水中亚硝酸盐、硝酸盐和磷酸盐的方法。该方法以IonPac AG23为富集柱,高容量IonPac AS23为分离柱,淋洗液自动发生装置在线产生KOH溶液进行梯度淋洗,抑制电导检测。实验结果表明: 样品稀释5~10倍时,直接进样不会干扰目标物测定。当流速为1 mL/min、进样量为500 μL时,海水中NO~2-N、NO~3-N、PO3~4-P的方法检出限分别为0.3、0.4、0.2 μg/L,线性范围分别为10~500 μg/L、14~680 μg/L、3.4~170 μg/L,线性相关系数r均大于0.9990。测得人工海水样品中目标物的加标回收率为92%~106%,相对标准偏差(RSD, n=6)为1.2%~7.7%。该方法一次进样可在13 min内完成分析,具有操作简单快捷、无污染等优点,能满足近海海水中NO~2、NO~3、PO3~4的定量分析要求。  相似文献

The solid-liquid equilibrium diagrams of binary mixtures involving magnesium nitrate hexahydrate with cobalt nitrate hexahydrate, nickel nitrate hexahydrate (partly), manganese nitrate tetrahydrate, and iron(III) nitrate nonahydrate and of magnesium chloride hexahydrate with cobalt and nickel chlorides hexahydrates and manganese chloride tetrahydrate, and the of two manganese salts were determined. Those diagrams that showed a simple eutectic were fitted by the Ott equation and where the required BET parameters were available, the magnesium salt rich parts of the liquidus were modeled by means of this method.  相似文献
